For image troubles please make sure you regenerate images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ you can use the force regenerate plugin instead if you want.
Also please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

If you want to remove the h1 from the logo, you can simply edit the theme files like so: http://www.screencast.com/t/HkuuAayUyX4U and then there will be no more h1 on the logo.
We added this option as most users do not use a title on pages and they needed a h1 on pages but without adding a title.

Unfortunately if your sidebar is not as long as the content, a white space will show. if your sidebar is longer than the content a big white space will show up in the main content. Sorry but we have not tested this. Please understand that custom work is not part of the theme support. We have not tried adding a shortcode as a parameter and in order for us to test to see if it will work, we would have to actually make the customization ourselves. If you do not have the skills necessary to make the modification you require we suggest hiring a developer to help with the code. We try to help out where we can and if the customization is not very time consuming but time does not allow us to tackle such tasks as you describe.

The theme already has a built-in function to grab the icon added here: https://www.screencast.com/t/K4mXP7ZU9aa4 when a user adds the site to their homescreen. You can do that on any mobile browser and the theme will grab the icon to place it on the phone as an ‘app’. This however is a user choice as the user has to add the site to his/hers homescreen. You cannot do that automatically.

You can set any page as a homepage from the WordPress settings. You can set the page using visual composer to add a revolution slider element, content blocks , images or any other elements provided by the theme. This is a wordpress element and the link is not added by the theme. Please switch to a wp default theme and the link will still be there. Unfortunately you will have to search for a plugin that can remove this link or alter thew wordpress files. We cannot provide a solution in this regard. Sorry
