Hello,

The header sizes are different for each case in particular. DO you use a full header? a boxed version? where do you want to add the image to? as a header background? There are multiple questions that need answers before I can provide a number. Please provide a link to your site so I can inspect it and provide more details to where you want the image to show up.

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but the general modal image will not work with external linked images. ALL your images MUST be linked to the media file if you use that option. The lightbox will not work with external linked images. Sorry,
In this case you will have to disable the general modal image and use the manual lighbox selection for each image in particular.

Thank you!

Hello,

It could be possible but we have not tested this. We cannot provide a solution in this regard, sorry. We suggest hiring a developer/freelancer to help with the code as this represents customization which falls beyond what the theme support can offer you.

Thank you!

Hi,

I have tested the code again and it works as expected. I tested directly on your site: https://www.screencast.com/t/SijC7GyYU
This means you are either adding the code wrong or there is something preventing the css from applying.
Please check your custom css box and see if there are any warning or errors provided. There is a big red X left of the code if there is an error in the custom css box. This will make the code not work in the custom css box. Please provide a screenshot of your custom css box so we can inspect it and see how you are adding the code.

Thank you!

Hello Gerald,

The placeholder images can be found in the main theme files here: https://www.screencast.com/t/qJfQmODhqz
You can edit them and replace them with your own images but keep in mind that you have to maintain the image size and file name in order for this to work properly.

Thank you!

Hello,

The message is intended and was added by us and not visual composer. It is a warning that does not allow you to use big grid on a 2 column layout.
The problem with the big grids is that the 3 column layout is their intended way of using them. We never intended the grids to be used on 2 columns. But they do not display properly on 2 columns. They never have. We added this check so users understand that the grids are not meant to be used in any other layout. If you still want to use them on 2 columns, you will have to edit the theme code like so:
Please comment out or remove this code: https://www.screencast.com/t/SKhrNN5v47 and also remove one of these curly braces: https://www.screencast.com/t/AjjTkQM3E The check is added in each grid file in particular so you will have to edit the file corresponding to the grid you use.

Thank you!

Hello,

The 2 elements you mention are found in the block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
number 1 is controlled from the FILTER tab
number 2 is controlled by the AJAX FILTER tab

Thank you!

Hello,

Well it depends on how you add the fade-in effect. Our theme does not have a fade-in effect so it must be a custom code you added to make this. The code could not apply for different reasons. If it’s a css modification try to add !important after the css attributes.

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but the big grids cannot be set to show a preferred number of posts like standard blocks do. The grids have a fixed layout and they need the number of posts that were intended for it in order to display properly.
It can only be doe by recreating the big rid layout which is no simple task. It easier to just pick another grid that suits your project better.

Thank you!

Hello,

The category filtering is done through the block settings. Please use this guide to filter your blocks based on the category: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

Hello,

I’m not sure what is the wrong font. The normal paragraph is set to 25px while lists get a size of 15px
If you want to reduce the font on pages, you can do it from the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/ANF6J0nhxtxn
This setting should change both the list and the content.

Please use this guide to properly update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The FTP method is the safest way to update.

Hello,

The update could have gone wrong. Please make sure you update the theme by changing all the files. Once file could have been left out when updating. Create a back-up beforehand and then use this guide to update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Hello,

The menu was changed as a whole. It was re-created in 7.8 from the bottom up. We will look into this and see if we find a solution to get the old design on the new code for people who prefer the previous version of the menu. We will come back with our results as soon as we can investigate this issue.

Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello,

The demos have nothing to do with plugins. The theme functionality is not affected by the demos. The demos simply add a css style but do not change functionality. Plugins and all other functionality work the same with or without demos.

Hello,

The search button was intended to be used on the main menu. It was hard-coded to work that way. The theme live search will not work form another palce as it depends on the main menu classes. Moving the search as well as the live search ption will require quite a bit of customization. We suggest hiring a developer/freelancer to help out with the code as there is no simple solution we can provide for moving the ajax search.
You cna however replace it with a search bar like this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/replace-search-icon-with-search-bar-in-the-header/

Hello

The featured category was not intended to be shown. It was meant to be hidden from view so people can use it to mark posts as featured but not show the category on the front-end.

Hi,

Sorry but there is no such option added to the mega menu. All the sub-categories of the main category will be shown as a list. It was not intended to be used in a tree branching way. IF this is what you require we suggest a different approach to your menu by only adding the main destinations in the mega menu.
You can only show the main parent categories by changing this line to ‘parent’
You will have to do this modification in td_block_mega_menu.php, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Pkvn5QEdGm
Or as an alternative, create a sub-menu structure which will branch in many different sub-categories.
I hope this helps.

Thank you!

This was done to address a number of issues and to add the ability to use a full width header as well as menu with a boxed site. Now you can have a theme background and a full header and footer as well. https://www.screencast.com/t/BljOPQ8ief

Hello,
The post author box does not have this type of settings so it has to be made by hard-coding it. Here is an example of how to do it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/disable-one-specific-author-box/
Thank you!
