Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to turn off the Google Fonts for your website, sorry! We do not have any bad reports in this case and also, we cannot recreate this error. Make a new fresh install via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.

Sorry! This functionality should works as expected because it’s tested with the theme and it seems to works good. Remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If you cannot accomplish this, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and check the results. Our recommended caching plugin is WP Super Cache. If you are using another one, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not. Check it and make sure that you have clear all of the caches from the plugin, browser cache and refresh your page with CRTL+SHIFT+R and check the results.

In order to achieve the best results after you will install the latest update you have to follow some rigorous steps like this -> you have to delete both of your themes, child theme, and main theme. All your customizations from your Newspaper 4 theme will do not work because all the files from this were changed in Newspaper 8 and as the main theme and also you lose all changes.

The Newspaper 8 is a whole new theme so an update from 4 to 8 may cause the same issues as switching to another theme (but we did try to maintain compatibility where ever possible).

Always make a full backup of your current installation – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups and then do a clean update, meaning that we recommend that you delete the old version of the theme before uploading the new one – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ update also the plugins that come bundled with the theme files from the /plugins folder.

The shortcodes have been changed so old ones will not work anymore. Please note that old files customization or custom CSS will not work with the new version and you will have to adjust or re-add them.

Bottom line is that Newspaper 8 is a whole new theme built from scratch.
Unfortunately, you will have to clear your agenda and spare a bit of time to adjust all your settings to the new version of the theme.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to display all the share buttons, sorry! The theme functionality will display only a certain number of buttons and if you have more than this, you will display if you will press the plus button.

First of all, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, update all the plugins from your theme panel (ensure that you are using the plugin version which come bundled with the theme packet), clear all the caches and check the results. Remove all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all of them and check the results.
