I have checked your website and I saw that you have a problem with your mobile theme in that your featured images are not displayed. Please try to re-download the latest version of the theme which is still 7.3, but the fix was implemented after 7.3 was released. Please download the theme again, delete your current theme and install the freshly downloaded one. The version is the same but the fix will be present.
As an alternative here is the fix needed:
Add this code in the mobile theme’s function.php:
td_global::$td_options = get_option(TD_THEME_OPTIONS_NAME); //read the theme settings once

Each demo has an own style design with an own CSS code, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/waaYk9LkgEG If you want to have the similar layout for your website, I suggest you installing the Black Version of the theme (with/without content) and because what you want to achieve to adjust the Default layout to Balck version it is more difficult, require time-consuming, custom work and we cannot provide this type of services at the moment, sorry! Simply, you have to use our Black version.

The theme detects the mobile/tablet layout via @media query and all of these settings are placed in style.css. If you want to change this behaviour, please notice that you will need to make more additional customizations through code that involves custom work but please notice that we cannot provide this, sorry! You will have to implement yourself and if you are not aware of the steps you will need to hire somebody to help you in this regard.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.3) with the latest version of Visual Composer (4.12). Please notice that the Visual Composer have an own license which comes bundled with the theme and you no need to buy another license for it. Ignore this message!
