my intention was not to be rude, the main problem is that things are moving really fast on wordpress and everytime i try to implement something new on Newspaper (like Fb Instant Articles, or an Androind App, or simple modify the Schema) it’s a pain cause it’s not compatible with your theme. I’m still ok with the structure and the features you are offering that are quiet unique in the wordpress NEWS Template section, but it will be nice by you to start thinking on a much stable compatibility with what happen outside TagDiv.

We are currently developing another website with your theme so it confirm that we found it good enough to invest other money on it, but we will love to have the possibility to work on create NEWS instead of doing a continous troubleshooting.

After 3 years and two website done with this theme, i’m here at asking help to every update, i think you asked me to check the requirments at least 34 times. It’s always something not compatible so why i’m so silly at ask.
BTW everything fixed after i activate and deactivate all that is a really tech stuff.

I’ve noticed that before having the error the Apache cache goes at maximum usage.
Nothing have changed in the last year so semething is going wrong on the theme.

Already talked with the developer about this.She’s so collaborative and told me that was going to fix this issue, but i had to act really fast cause i have around 70k unique visitors per day and everything was broken after the update to X and the conflict with Guest Author .At the moment i don’t need it anymore cause i’ve asked to all my authors to setup an account last winter.

I’ve tried to make this things work by talking with the theme and the plugin guys, but i don’t know if they find a solution cause i was in a rush and had to switch off the guest author plugin because i had a lot of problem with it.
I’ve solved creating all the roles manually and in the case the Author is not uploading the post by himself the Admin can upload it for him and assign to the proper Author using the default wordpress role using the native author box.

AMP back in action after we deactivate and reactivate all plugin. It still as not active in the Theme Plugin tab but it’s workin.

Same problem here and all the Amp in search console desappeared.
In the theme plugin section the amp plug in is not possible to activate the AMP,and i’ve also deleted everything with the file manager and uploaded the new file.
Fix this fast cause we are loosing traffic, money and crdibility.

Switched back to the previous version and it worked.

Same problem here and it worked perfectly before X update.
I’ve talked with the GUEST AUTHOR plugin guy and it’s really open to collaborate in having the plugin working with Newspaper X.
He asked me to investigate about what function you use for call the author cause in the template you are not using the standard wordpress function.
There’s a way for him to talk directly to you and start this collaboration?

Had the same surprise when you switched off Visual Composer and i had to work 2 months for fix everything.So before updating i’ve tried on the staging version of our news website with high traffic, a lot of templates, more than 354.000 articles, completely optimized for speed, with a good ranking on google.
It will take months of debugging for have it back to normality, and in the meantime the speed with this Standard Pack it’s completly gone and so the rankings and the time and money we invested in the website.
What’s wrong with you TagDiv? I’m not going to switch to X cause this will take the same time to switch to a new and more stable template.
It will be nice from you to set a real SMOOTH Transition to this messy update.
In the meantime i’m searching for a plan B.

Mediamu for me was an external plugin issue (for mailchimp subscibe form pop up), and the support helped me a lot in solve this.

Here the System Status Screenshot.
I’ve also tried to switch back to previous php version (BTW nobody touched this and it worked perfectly till this morning).
Deactivated all the external plug in.
Rechecked the Configuration request 2 times.
Increased the wp memory till 500 with no luck and switched back to 256 (as it was from the first time i started using Newspaper).
It only come back on line if i switch off tag div cloud library but i loose the header template doing this.

I’ve spent the entire morning troubleshoting this..my client is completly MAD.
Please do something.

For my site was a conflict issue with Facebook Pixel official plugin.
Bogdan of the TagDiv team helped me in troubleshooting this.

Hi Calin,
the requirments are ok from the first install and everything worked like a charm till the last update.
I’ve spent the entire morning in trying to do all the things you suggested in the list with no luck (no plug in/no cache/htaccess edit ect. ect.).
I’m not using the child theme (it was on before the last update), because also if i replace the child files with the latest version on Theme Forest, when activated the mobile version stop working..so had to switch to the main theme.
Also tried to rebuild from zero the homepage on a blank new page but when i start the composer i have the same message and the editor doesn’t load at all.
Please help cause we are near Easter and it’s one of the moment of the year in wich we have a lot of traffic of the website.
