Usually this problem can appear only if there was made some changes in theme, use some plugins, or a code set that are not longer compatible with the theme, if there was no changes in this way, the menu should not be lost, if this problem will reappear, please let as know and provide the mode that you get it.

In the last version of the theme you have some more control over the pages/posts using the mobile theme, now you can chose which posts/pages to be show in the responsive version of the theme or mobile theme version, you can check more about this option in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

There were some few modifications/fix for AMP in Newspaper v9.7.4 but I do not know if this one is treated by those changes, from what I can see this problem is still on our fix list, that means that there still need to be made some modifications in order to solve this problem entirely.

Unfortunately, since Newspaper v9.7 the child theme is working only for the functions.php and style.css files.
Also make sure that there is Is no plugin conflict between the child and plugins.

The demos are using default headers that can not be edit, sorry! if you want to edit the header you’ll need to use the header manager.
