Hi,

I believe that is achieved by using a negative margin – http://prntscr.com/mb1yc3
That block has a negative top margin which drags it higher. You could try the same.

Hi,

That is indeed used by themes and plugins. But in the way it is used by the Newspaper theme and it’s plugins it is not considered a security risk, no need to worry. We treat security with the utmost care in our theme and our plugins.

Thanks

Hi,

That looks like the default demo article bottom ad, it can be found in the theme panel ads section
http://prntscr.com/mb1ncc
There you can enter ad codes for the desired ad spots. Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi,

You could use a plugin that has this capability, Instagram is not part of the theme sharing options for posts at the moment. You could try some free plugins, I found some examples here but there may be others that can do this
https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-social-media-plugins/

Maybe in the future Instagram will be implemented in the theme sharing, sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Hi,

Basically you will have to modify the module you want to display a time ago date. An example is provided in this topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/the-time-ago-in-block-3-is-correct-but-another-block-is-wrong-time/

The theme modules are here – https://www.screencast.com/t/pgEdt29bC
Each block and grid is made of modules – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
If you want to display that date in a module or more modules, each will have to be modified.

They can be modified in a child theme, this way you won;t lose the customization after a theme update when the theme files are replaced
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

A guide or documentation about such a modification is not available, if there was I would gladly provide it to you.

It may be the same from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/display-problem-with-the-right-bar/
It was an issue with an older theme version, when the page was built with WPBakery. But this shouldn’t happen anymore in the latest theme and WPBakery.

The top grid in the homepage displays posts included in the featured category
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
If there are no posts in the featured category the grid will not be displayed.

You don’t have to enter content in the mobile editor for the homepage, if you don’t want to. Then only the top grid and latest articles sections will appear, if there are no featured posts only the latest articles section will appear.

Hi,

I don’t know if something like this could be done, if it would be possible to display posts in theme blocks, that are part of a different website in a network. They can only display posts that are found in the respective website.

There is no documentation I can provide you in this matter unfortunately. Also we haven’t made any testing such as this. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Hi,

In a category if you use the default category template you can choose a different type of pagination, instead of the numbered pagination. Pagination options can be set for each category in the theme panel
http://prntscr.com/mayttahttp://prntscr.com/mayu1r

Or if you use a cloud category template and use a loop element, this has pagination options as well – http://prntscr.com/mayvo9

@kytmagic From what I can see that website is using theme version 9.1, there was a problem with using shortcodes in the composer previously, it was fixed in 9.2
http://prntscr.com/mayp0p
At the time we provided a quick fix which worked and was eventually added in the theme in 9.2

Hi,

That would be quite unusual. The automatic excerpts should respect the settings you choose. First the type of the excerpt, then the value you set for each module
http://prntscr.com/maydfe

That looks like block 1, check what is set in the module 6 for the title length. Note that if for example a value of 12 is set this will actually display 11 letters/words.

Hi,

This plugin is not required, it will help with render blocking when active. But note that the Speedbooster plugin has an inbuilt plugin checklist – http://prntscr.com/may51p
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
If it detects plugins outside that list it will deactivate itself. This is supposed to happen, as the Speedbooster plugin could cause some plugins to not function properly.

Hi,

Could you post a link to the website so I can take a look? Or send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. If you send us an email include a link to this topic.

So you are referring to this cloud post template
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/single/Single/24
The background colors are set for the rows, in the CSS tab – http://prntscr.com/maxrir
There you can change them to the color you want – http://prntscr.com/maxrtr
In my case there is no problem with this setting, something must be causing this issue in your case.

We could take a look at it, send us admin login at contact@tagdiv.com and we will check the cloud template. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

I don’t quite understand the problem you are having with the scroll to top button which appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. It will appear as in the demo as you scroll down the page
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

What exactly requires fixing about this button? I will try to help you.

Hi,

@Austenit
The coming update will contain various fixes and some new features will be added, but I can’t say what exactly will be added at this time. It will be released when all is tested as much as possible.

We don’t have a public upcoming feature list that I can provide you with, maybe we will create this in the future. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi,

You could use the Adrotate plugin, that has shortcodes as well. There are quite a few theme users that use this plugin with the theme. Some more info on the plugin here

Hi,

Unfortunately we don’t have such a service available. You could try looking for freelancers that know their way on the Envato studio website – https://studio.envato.com/
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

What exactly is happening when you try it? Are there any errors displayed?

Please check the theme requirements guide and make sure they are fulfilled, note the code provided at the bottom which should be entered in the htaccess file
