Hi,
A link to the website would be very helpful, so I can see this layer you mention. For the footer a background color or image can be set
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5FFPdUOMuJ
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7uxGUaJs6aM
Maybe you are referring to these backgrounds.
Thanks
Hi,
We could take a look, please provide a link to the website so we can inspect it.
Hi,
I would have no idea how those ads work unfortunately. We have not made any testing with such ads. If you use the theme panel ad spots the functionality is simple, enter the ad codes in the desire spot and the theme will try to display them. Could be an incompatibility or a configuration problem.
Maybe some other users who use AdSanity with the theme successfully could share their experiences with it.
Thanks
Hi,
The Gravatar does not require a plugin. Please see some guides for more information

– https://crambler.com/set-avatar-image-wordpress-using-gravatar/

– https://technumero.com/create-gravatar-account-use-gravatar-in-wordpress/
– https://www.webnots.com/how-to-use-gravatar-on-wordpress-site/
I installed WP user avatar and used the same Gravatar
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nUT8dgbaH2Gl
Looks the same as I have set it there
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zUmsWk8Wfrn
Are you referring to the author box displayed in posts? Or maybe the avatar in a different location.
We are from Romania if you can provide access we could take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
So the pages are completely empty? That is unusual, please provide a link to your website so I can check on mobile. For example the mobile homepage, there should be a front-page with the intended elements, a top grid and latest articles
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4OqDKf94
As a note, when the mobile theme is active you have to create 2 versions of each page. One for desktop with the page builder or in any way possible, and one for mobile with the simple mobile editor
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EBJcP5XIb
If a page has nothing in the mobile editor, it will be empty (when the mobile theme is active).
Thanks
Hi,
That is the theme folder. Usually the themes folder would be set as disallowed in a robots file so Google does not try and access it, from what I can find online.
Check some topics I found for some more information

Hi,
The latest version is 9.0.1, you can update to that, there should be no problem. Please check the changelog to see what has changed in the theme since the version you are using
– https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 (bottom of the page)
This is an update guide you can follow, also some advice like making a full backup before attempting to update
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Also check the updated theme requirements guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
We don’t have services for updating the theme unfortunately. But it is not difficult to do, you can do it yourself by following the guide. Simply make a full backup before, just to be safe. The most recommended and reliable method is by FTP.
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t quite understand what is happening. If you could post a link to your website and mention the menu item I will take a look at it.
A mega-menu will be displayed only if you create it, this is the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
Thanks
Hi,
By a theme option that would not be possible. With a translation plugin that could be possible. We made tests with the WPML plugin, this allows the theme ad spots to be translated (chnage their content by language).
Maybe it would be possible in other ways, like using a plugin that has ad options by language, together with the theme ad spots or entirely with the plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
1. That would depend on the header style you use
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
For example header styles 9, 10 and 11 will allow any image size you want, no limits there.
If you already use one of these but the logo is small, make sure you upload it in full size
– https://www.screencast.com/t/graHsimAEo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HsOr4LblR
2. The tagDiv composer can also be used to create post templates, category templates, author templates etc. The cloud library plugin will be required for that
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
So you can’t create actual posts, but can create templates to apply to those posts.
3. If you mean theme files, you should use a child theme. One is provided in the child theme. Not all files are supported to be modified in a child theme however
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks
Hi,
I found some topics you could follow, maybe try and identify why that happens

Hi,
If you use the predefined post templates, that could only be done with modifications in the theme post template files
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/post-comments-directly-under-post/
However with the new cloud library plugin and tagDiv composer, this is a matter of drag and drop. You can design your own post templates, also import from beautiful templates created by us.
So for example the comments can be simply dragged in the position you want

– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks
That is quite unusual, I did not see something like that before. So it works for other pages but not with that one. Maybe some other users would have an idea.
Hi,
A menu was not added in the plugin up to this point. This request is present on our suggestion list and may be available in the future, can’t say when unfortunately. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
We made tests with a Mac and Safari as well as Chrome, there were reports of the composer sidebar not looking properly from some users. We could not recreate the issue unfortunately, the sidebar looks alright. So it must be something very specific when it happens.
There are plans to improve or add a scroll to the composer, for a better functionality of the interface.
If that width is causing the problem for you, you could remove it from the plugin stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1wsGb92veE7D
You can use the WordPress plugin editor to do it if you should consider it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zLPgpG4V
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by this. We will try to make more testing and improve on this part.
Thanks
Hi,
This should do it for the related block – https://www.screencast.com/t/nvJJt6uD
.td_module_related_posts .td-post-category {
top: 0;
left: 0;
bottom: auto;
background-color: #0072c8;
padding: 6px 8px 6px;
}
Thanks
Hi,
So the extra classes do not work anymore, while they worked previously. Do you have WPBakery active? I am quite sure those are classes that WPBakery sets for the elements that you hide.
If you want an older theme version, contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com and request it. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
Currently there are no long tags like the one you mention, I made one as a example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pKnfHfntz
I could give you a code to limit the max width of the tag to a value, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/N2QpT5gHRIG
Add that to this code from previous topics
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JO0yDXRk
max-width: 80%;
Thanks
The blue color comes from the demo from what I can see (lifestyle demo)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fFgG4bIeKg1K
It is defined there, so that is why the theme panel setting doesn’t apply. Somehow I didn’t notice it, sorry for that.
So you want the menu items text color to be white. Either remove the code from the screenshot in the demo files, then what you set in the theme panel will apply.
Or use another code to override it and make the text white as you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jT0AhVYjyw
– https://pastebin.com/ykzJMjaA
Sorry for the misunderstanding and confusion. Let me know if there is still a problem, or you wanted something else.
If you disable the live search thumbnail the default placeholder will be shown
– https://www.screencast.com/t/reumwJWzC
That will be the result. If you want to modify that thumbnail you could modify it directly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AbkCLedwRL8L
Or add a new thumbnail size – https://forum.tagdiv.com/api-thumbnail-introduction/
Then modify the live search module to use it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UW0Y8syq
Making changes to the module will affect all the elements where it is used
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VQNoKN1nmkKy
Hi,
I would need some more details about what exactly you want to do. A link to the page in question will also help.
Thanks
Hi,
There are options to stretch the header elements, in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YDfMbb2dZ9
If you have many menu items stretch the menu to make more space.
Thanks
Hi,
Surely there must be a plugin that works, plugins that deny access to the browser inspector or seeing the page source. I have seen this on many websites with the theme, but did not check what plugins were used unfortunately.
Maybe some other users can share their experience with such plugins.
Thanks
Hi,
So you want to display a sidebar in a page. That is not difficult. Edit the page in question with the composer, split the row like this for example (most common)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/LAj3BAlMFk
If you want to display widgets use the widget sidebar element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/5r9JLFOz
Or drag elements directly in the sidebar column
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Qg5dYC2E
In the page you mention I see the sidebar looks alright. That should be the case for all pages. What exactly are you doing in the page and what it is happening? Could you provide a link to that page so I can take a look?
Thanks
Hi,
There is a setting for the opacity of the menu when sticky, in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2O02joTNh
That slider will adjust the opacity of the sticky menu.
Thanks
