Hi,

Maybe you can try and make the text length the same or similar, to have equal height in the columns. If that is not possible, you could try and set a minimum height for the columns with CSS. What elements are you using there? Provide a link to that page if possible.

Hi,

Let’s try and better understand/explain this situation. The logo on the right is a business demo customization, based on the default header style 1
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_business/
The default header style 1 looks like this
https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/

All the demos have custom design, based on modifications made to the default theme elements.
In this case you could either change the header style (the design is only for header style 1), or remove the code that is responsible for the modification, in the demo stylesheet directly
https://www.screencast.com/t/oE3x6hLon
Or override the demo design with the code provided above
https://www.screencast.com/t/1EnIYlxa5
Each one of the solutions would work, decide which one you want to use.

Thanks

That would be the only options to create a separator between columns, an actual divider can only be set for rows
https://www.screencast.com/t/roOh2mhmn84H
So you could use borders or even shadows maybe, or set background colors

Htaccess seems fine, this is most unusual. I have made multiple tests and as long as the AMP page option is enabled in the theme panel, everything works properly.
I suggest you contact your hosting, maybe they would have an idea as to why AMP works for your posts but not for the pages where it should. Let us know what you find.

I see it now. That happens because of RTL, our theme design and functionality of some elements will not function or display correctly with RTL.
You could try the same solution from his topic, see if it works for you

Hi,

You could set a border between columns, in the columns CSS tab
https://www.screencast.com/t/qhyO7brNoD
What kind of divider do you have in mind? maybe there would be other solutions.

Hi,

We could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We may need to deactivate all your plugins for testing, or you can do that for yourself (leave only theme plugins active) and mention it. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

Hi,

As Bogdan mentioned we will require admin access to your website for investigation. Send us an email with them at the address mentioned above.

Try to provide as many details as possible about the problems so we can check. Please also include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks

There is still an error displayed for those pages
https://www.screencast.com/t/3Ic7nSu3Bc
Try to check with your hosting as well, maybe there are some kind or redirects set for AMP page URL’s for some reason. Take a look in the htaccess file as well. Checking with a redirect checker for that page AMP seems to redirect to the homepage

Hi,

So something like an inherit capability of the ads between the category and the posts. That is not possible with a theme setting. Ads have to be set manually for categories and posts.

With the new cloud library plugin, you can now design category templates and also post templates
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

So you could design a category template with the ad boxes you want. Then design a post template and use the same ads.

In category templates you can set with the composer ad boxes
https://www.screencast.com/t/RvHAWwkGW
In post templates you could add the same ad boxes and also in content ads
https://www.screencast.com/t/jrJ1l6iv

Hi,

Glad it works, you can post any questions you have here in the forum. We and the community will try to help you.

I will try to help you with the more articles box. I see that the example you mention has no thumbnail for the posts. There are a couple of modules that don’t show a thumbnail
https://www.screencast.com/t/5AGLHkRi
But those don’t show excerpts however. You could select a module with excerpts and hide the thumbnail
https://www.screencast.com/t/9TV1Rls8c5OB
This is the code for that, try it if you wish and see how it works

.td-more-articles-box .td-module-image {
display: none;
}

The number of posts can also be changed – https://www.screencast.com/t/HFpKmd8IZm0

The name of this section can be customized in the theme translations if needed
https://www.screencast.com/t/oerVSlG3j

If you need further modifications to it or this is not what you wanted at all, let me know. Mention what exactly you want to modify about it.

hanks

Try to re-save the permalinks in WordPress settings, then check again.

Did you select a sidebar in the widget? – https://www.screencast.com/t/xwj7KRVNMn
Does that sidebar have widgets in it ? – https://www.screencast.com/t/RuEBmC2p7AHC

Do you have some form of caching? Clear it all if you do. Now I see the posts don’t have AMP as well
https://www.screencast.com/t/gVTwnErx2fc
The plugin seems active however, the AMP link is in the page source.

Also check your robots file if you use one, it could block the AMP pages

Hi,

@r1kay
I will inspect the issue you mention, provide a link to a post with the problem. I have tested this again. As soon as a post is published, it will appear in all post related articles sections. Of course that will happen only if it has at least one category or tag in common with it, depending on your settings.

You can create any page with the composer, that will allow you to use a sidebar or not, per page. Design it in any way you want.

I see you have only a contact form in the contact page. So you could create a new page, place a text element in it, enter the contact form shortcode in it
https://www.screencast.com/t/TM8EKK1RuI
Then save the page and view it. There will be no sidebar, only the contact form. Use the row layout you want for the page

Hi,

The smart sidebar capabilities would depend on your theme version. If you are not using the latest theme version, you have to add a class to the row in order to make that column sticky
https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ (check lower in the guide)

Since the latest update, the option is now in the composer and not limited for that layout
https://www.screencast.com/t/xdH54myuuTV3
We will update the smart sidebar guide as soon as possible.

Thanks

Hi,

You could add a link in the description of the menu product element, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/G64rYAN6s
You can set a hover color for the link, with CSS if needed. You want to change the link color when the whole menu item is hovered, try something like this for example

.tdm_block_food_menu:hover a {
color: blue;
}

That code should change the color of the link when any part of the menu item is hovered.

Thanks

Hi,

Indeed, there is no scroll in the composer sidebar at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience. But you should have some kind of scrolling capabilities on the computer, maybe a scroll by keys or scroll wheel.
I believe there are plans to provide a scroll bar in the composer in the future.

Thanks

I never say that before, couldn’t say what is causing it. For me it looks like this, when from the dashboard I access the website

Hi,

The load more works through ajax, created specially that the page is not refreshed when using the block pagination.
Even if you would refresh the page after clicking on the load more link, the block will display only the initial posts again, just as if the button was not clicked.

You could consider simply not using pagination, maybe set the blocks to display more posts from the start. What you want to do would not be possible with the ajax pagination.

Thanks

Hi,

That is an automatic process that calculates the available space and creates that expansion button. It cannot be disabled by a theme setting.

Maybe consider using a layout of the social icons that will allow you to display more of them without filling the whole space
https://www.screencast.com/t/OHwNmsoYj
However on smaller devices the socials will have a more limited space, and the “+” will be displayed.

Thanks

Hi,

You seem to be using theme version 8.2 so most likely Instagram or other socials will not work anymore. I believe a few months ago Instagram made modifications on their side, causing the Instagram widget and social counter to not work.
We adapted the theme to work with those modifications in version 8.7.3
https://www.screencast.com/t/PhGONfNXtEt

You can view the whole changelog history here (bottom of the page)
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

So unless you update the theme, Instagram and other social capabilities of the theme will probably not work for you

Hi,

Please use the theme translation settings – https://www.screencast.com/t/3rqXvWmZo
There are settings for most of the theme strings.

Hi,

That will happen if you installed the optional mobile theme plugin. Page content built with the tagDiv composer will not be displayed on mobile, if the mobile theme is active. You can find out more about how this plugin works here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

So mobile pages content is limited to the mobile editor capabilities
https://www.screencast.com/t/aVmQakkHLK

If you wish that the same content from desktop be displayed on mobile, deactivate the mobile theme plugin.

Thanks
