Hi,

Numbered pagination is not available for blocks. Blocks have these forms of pagination
https://www.screencast.com/t/ylpih4W0oVkC
https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

On that page the page template with latest articles and pagination is used
https://www.screencast.com/t/IrEe0U4Gmljt
That section will display a numbered pagination.

Thanks

Hi,

For the YouTube counter try using your channel ID
https://www.screencast.com/t/gvPWTXkp
https://www.screencast.com/t/HmxfpcSRQx

channel/UCGonsxtnlYYs2CsdlPeuZ3w

The Twitter counter will not work for the moment. This is currently being investigated and will be fixed as quickly as possible.

Thanks

Could you please check on a default WordPress theme? If the problem is present only when the Newsmag theme is active please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access. We will take a look.
Also include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

Never heard of something like that before. If you removed and installed the new composer plugin after the theme update, then you activated it the plugin should stay activated. This is most unusual. Could youre please first check the theme requirements
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources where needed. Also maybe they can check error logs, potential errors could be seen there. Monitor if the same thing happens if you have only theme plugins active. Temporarily remove theme modifications and child theme.

That will require that you update to the latest theme version 4.4 and also social counter plugin 4.4. Now only the ID has to be entered when configuring the social counter

I see the form you use in the sidebar, seems to be a Mailchimp form. Maybe check the Mailchimp GDPR guide
https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/collect-consent-with-gdpr-forms
https://blog.mailchimp.com/tag/gdpr/
The theme will not collect any user data, you will have to check what each plugin collects and check their documentation.

Hi,

You may need to update to at least 8.7.4 and social counter plugin 4.4. There were changes made for Facebook, now you only need to use your ID
https://www.screencast.com/t/MuHZktg5YK
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Once you update, all there is needed is to enter your ID

There is a problem it seems with the Twitter counter. We will investigate and try to provide a solution as quickly as possible.

Hi,

The thumbnails seem to be created correctly
https://www.screencast.com/t/lxt3homq
The problem seems to be with the theme width, it is wider than normal. If you updated from an older version, with pages built with Visual composer, please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. Check if this will fix the problem, it should also fix the single image problems.

Or in case of the slider it could be modifications you made or are making to the theme, old customization may not work for in case of an update. Theme elements and design can change from update to update.

From what I can find 504 errors would be related to a server problem
https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/troubleshoot-504-error-wordpress/
https://kinsta.com/blog/504-gateway-timeout/
https://www.lifewire.com/504-gateway-timeout-error-explained-2622941
https://www.000webhost.com/blog/504-gateway-timeout

You could contact your hosting provider or server administrator and mention this, They could take a look and see what is the problem, through error logs maybe.

Hi,

So you are choosing post template 4 for the post and there is no image. Did you set a featured image for the post?
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Is the featured image enabled in the theme panel?
https://www.screencast.com/t/UjTr3MHalYq
Maybe you are using plugins for image optimization, also jetpack photon or lazyload could cause problems. Check all these and see if the problem persists.

Thanks

Hi,

If the mobile theme plugin has disappeared from your active plugins list, search for it in the inactive plugins and delete it. If you try to activate it this message should be displayed
https://www.screencast.com/t/c1nsiSvnmQq
So delete it and install it again from the latest theme package. That is if you still want to use it.

1. The plugin is optional, so you could simply not activate it and there will be no problem. It’s purpose is to present a overall simplified variant of the website on mobile.

2. The multi-purpose plugin is no more
https://www.screencast.com/t/bzKr92ePiT3
By an oversight it is provided in the theme package, we will fix that. As of 8.7.5 all the multi-purpose elements and settings are included in the tagDiv composer.
Now after a theme update the tagDiv composer should be updated automatically, if that did not happen for you deactivate and delete it and install it from here
https://www.screencast.com/t/KwPCbnRF9PB

The shortcodes should work, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/OWg27PZp

Hi,

Please provide a link to the page in question so I can take a look, maybe there is something I am forgetting. If that is not possible, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin access (include a link to this topic in the email).

Check the social counter version in the plugins section, should be 4.4. If the plugin is that version and it is still not working, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login access. We will take a look.
Also include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

I see now what you are referring to, the color set for the post meta, for block 22 in the health blog demo
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_health/
By default that block looks like this
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-22/
Bust most demos contain custom design for theme elements, that default color can only be changed with CSS.
A code lie this will allow you change that color for that block
https://www.screencast.com/t/4sybDsWupra7
Use the color and opacity you want in the code, then enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS (it will affect all blocks 22, unless made more specific)

.td_block_22 .td_module_17 .td-module-meta-holder {
background-color: rgba(185,60,44,.7);
}

Thanks

Only a changelog is available, that mentions what has been changed in the released update
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
If you mean something like an upcoming or planned features board or preview, we don’t have a similar element at the moment.

Hi,

So the problem was with thumbnails not displaying properly on Safari. The thumbnails created by the theme are of specific fixed sizes for each module
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
It would be somewhat impossible that the images would display in different sizes across browsers. Unless maybe you use a CDN for the images, plugins for image optimization or plugins that could affect images, optimization coding etc. If the thumbnails would have a problem it would be displayed on all browsers.

Most thumbnail issues (like not being of the same size) are fixed by regenerating them
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Let us know if there still is a problem, provide a link to it and we will take a look.

Thanks

No need to mention this in so many topics, one would be enough. Please see this topic

@Amit Replied in your other topic.

@22p We did not test that plugin, you can test it if you want to use it.

@Amit
Maybe I am misunderstanding this, you seem to be using theme version 8.7.4. The option was introduced only in 8.7.5
https://www.screencast.com/t/LXXG24brct
https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
The topic is about theme version 8.7.5 and related.

Hi,

Doesn’t look screwed up now, from what I can see. What exactly is the problem? Besides some images not found on the homepage I don’t see anything else

Hi,

Sorry for the misunderstanding. The multi-purpose header styles have a small issue when setting a background image or color. This is present on our list and it will be fixed.

In the mean time enter this code in the Theme panel->Custom CSS section after you set a background image for the header

.td-header-background-image .td-container-wrap {
background-color: transparent;
}

You can use the background parameters to adjust the image

Hi,

Do you use the latest version of the theme and WordPress? Where are those warnings displayed exactly? I have tested this multiple times

The link will lead to the page set here
