Hi,
Here you can see a brief descriptions and preview of the available post templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
You can also see them live on the demo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bkfxxt2w
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Post template style 7 seems to be similar to the layout you mention. The sidebar can be disabled for posts as well. As for the post content width there is no default option to modify it. That could be done only by using some CSS. Like this for example (no sidebar used)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TKdDoFo0vYm
When a sidebar is used the post content width is 696px, and without a sidebar it is 1068px.
Thanks
Hi,
The WordPress and server parameters mentioned are essential to the full functionality of the theme and plugins. These are necessary not just for the theme, but in general.
Not having the values as recommended is usually the reason for the theme and plugins not working as intended. But there could be other reasons as well.
If you have followed the guide, and the composer is still not working properly, try deactivating all your other plugins, and test again. Could be a plugin conflict.
You can request a refund as well if you are not satisfied with the theme. We will approve it as soon as possible
– https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new
Thanks
Hi,
The Instant articles plugin is not tested with the theme at this moment, so it may not work properly. Try following the advice they mention regarding images. Manually insert the approved tags for the images inside your posts.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes that option hides the category tag on both posts and category pages. If you enable it, the respective category will not be displayed in both locations. Try enabling it and then modify this file from the theme
– https://www.screencast.com/t/o8Hexr97jzt
Like this for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nlrXsezm
Now that that hidden category tag will remain hidden on posts, and it should display on the category pages.
For the modules it is not easy to do what you want. Changes to these modules will affect all the website. Their default behavior is to get the main category of a post, or the primary one that overrides this. If you would like them to exclude a certain category tag while displaying the post, and display a different category without setting a primary category, it will have to be made custom. I suggest you consider hiring a freelancer or developer to make these modifications, because we cannot provide this level of custom work at the moment, sorry.
Or think of a simpler way to achieve something like this, using the default category and block settings

Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme has nothing to do with the demo you have installed. The mobile theme has it’s own style and design. There is no option to change the general background color to black (or any other color in fact) in the mobile theme, at the moment.
The only color changing options are the ones in the theme panel, mobile theme section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Lkulo5AfllWU
If you would like to change the default way that the mobile theme displays, please provide a link to your website and details about what exactly you want to change and how. I will try to give you a solution, if possible.
Thanks
Hi,
The tagDiv composer is necessary to be active, for the demo to be displayed properly. Problems with some elements of the demo can be present. You could make a test and install the demo in a testing environment, while having the tagDiv composer deactivated, and Visual composer active. And check if everything is fine.
So installing the demo poses no problem, but it may not be displayed as intended without an active tagDiv composer.
The theme panel settings can be exported for saving, and later imported. More about this here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Thanks
Hi,
I don’t understand what you want to delete. As I mentioned above, the Latest articles section can be removed by selecting the default page template for your page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Lgw1eiDhQw
The default page template does not display this section in the page.
If you want something else, please provide more details so I can understand better.
Thanks
Hi,
Usually waiting for a while and trying again is a solution for that issue, we have yet to identify an exact cause for that message. Please try to activate the theme manually
– https://www.screencast.com/t/y9OSLcsc
– https://www.screencast.com/t/AEKaTQM0
Let us know if you still have problems activating the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
You could reduce that space with a code like his
– https://www.screencast.com/t/tSCed55DFy
.td-footer-template-4 .td-footer-info{
margin-bottom: 0px;
}
.td-social-style-2 .td-social-icon-wrap a,
.td-social-style-2 .td-social-icon-wrap {
height: 0;
}
Thanks
Hi,
I have inspected your website and refreshed the pages for a while, but I do not see this effect you mention. I had no problem browsing it.
If it is not displaying all the time, maybe a plugin is causing it. Try disabling all your plugins except the composer you are using, and clear the cache if you have caching installed. Then check if you can still see this issue. If it is not present anymore, enable the plugins one at a time, while checking.
Thanks
Hi,
You can create topics and post your questions here on the forum. We will try our best to help you. Provide details about what you need help with, so we can give you more accurate answers.
The menu can be edited as usual, in Appearance->Menus
– https://www.screencast.com/t/otEZqGT0odv
There you can create new menus and manage their locations as well.
Each module requires a particular thumbnail size. The thumbnail sizes must be enabled in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
These sizes will be automatically created from the featured images you use for your posts
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-vs-featured-image-size/
Please let us know if you need help, or need further questions.
The theme documentation is found here

Hi,
If you are using the default header menu, then a code like this should make the header banner aligned to the right
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cJBvnyCkIEUY
.td-header-sp-recs img {
left: auto;
}
If this does not work as well, please specify the exact header style, and what kind of ad you are using, so we can provide you with a more accurate solution.
Thanks
Hi,
That is the Latest Articles section that is displayed on the bottom of the page, when the required page template is selected. This can be removed by selecting the default page template for example, from the page attributes settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Lgw1eiDhQw
More information about the available page template here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Thanks
Hi,
Try clearing you cache, and check if the problem is fixed. If the posts were moved to a different category and are not part of the Uncategorized category, then this should not be displayed. On your website there aren’t any uncategorized posts at the moment
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ViwZdt2HR
Thanks
Hi,
The modal image should work properly, if you have followed the steps accordingly. Please provide a link to your website, so we can inspect the issue.
You could use Visual composer on posts if it is absolutely necessary, though it is not recommended. The page builder should be used only on pages.
There is no guide for this that I could provide you, since it is not recommended officially.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme post view counter will work only in post pages. For Woocommerce products maybe you can search for a plugin that could display a product view count on the product pages.
Thanks
Hi,
If the font you need is not available, try uploading it manually in the theme panel custom font section. Follow the guide provided above. Then it should appear in the font selection drop down and you can select it and use it.
Thanks
Hi,
For removing the gradient, you could try a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2WwLwdIxV9
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td_block_big_grid_fl_7.td-grid-style-1
.td-module-thumb a:last-child:before {
display: none!important;
}
For the border I don’t know how exactly you want it to be. You could use something like this for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pyKTqI3tO
.td_block_big_grid_fl_7 .td-module-thumb {
border: 1px solid blue;
}
Or create your own code and customize the grid modules the way you want. Use the browser inspector to identify the elements present and their classes and create custom code
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
Thanks
Hi,
The author information that is displayed in the author page is the one you insert in the user profile fields
– https://www.screencast.com/t/i9hHU4YDh
There you can set a public name, a description, email etc. If this is not what you wanted please to know, provide more details about what exactly you want to do.
Thanks
Hi,
I have tried to replicate the layout you have and recreate the problem, but with no result. Stretching the row while using the block elements you are using does exactly what it should
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XPjjZqxs69v
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QCcpZorF
There are no problems with the thumbnails in that block on my end. A suggestion would be to disable all your plugins except the tagDiv composer, clear any caching installed and check to see if there still is a problem.
Thanks
Hi,
Then the block is not functioning properly. That can be the result of a plugin interfering with the block filtering. Try changing the sorting and see if it is being made properly. You could make a test using the default theme popular sorting (not the Jetpack sort), and leave the excluded categories as they are. Then see if the block still displays posts from those categories (clear cache as well).
If the problem is still there, deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins, clear any caching installed and check again. As I mentioned above I have tested the popular sorting and excluding categories and it is working for me.
Thanks
Hi,
I believe this is over complicating things when there is no need to do it. That is why it is always best to create a clear and organized category structure, and do not resort to code customization to hide categories when possible.
By default on the category page, there will be displayed posts that are part of that category only, or among other categories including that one (reflecting in the displayed tag as well – this will be related to the category page currently in view). That is the way it works.
Setting a primary category will override the default behavior on the whole website, including the category pages. There is no other setting available in the theme in this matter. Except the one that allows you to hide a category tag on posts and category pages.
I cannot think of a way to display the category tag you want, while hiding the default category of a post, and not using a primary category. Maybe you should rethink the category tree, and make changes based on the available options. Maybe that will be more useful in the future as well, when these modifications may not work anymore.
Thanks
Hi,
It could be possible to insert the Revolution slider in the header ad section if that is what you want. Either by inserting the revolution slider directly in the header template file with a do shortcode
– https://www.screencast.com/t/MkjJZtK6S
Or maybe even in the header ad section in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UNP0sm9K
You could test it and see if it is working properly.
Thanks
Hi,
Each block can be filtered with the options you are mentioning. In the Post Id filter you can enter Id’s of posts, if you want specific posts to be displayed in that element. You can filter by categories, tags, authors and also sort the posts that way it is necessary.
Here is a guide that you can follow, for better understanding of the available block options and settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi,
That may not be so easy to achieve. These kind of modification could damage the modules and the thumbnails, like you have already seen. If you could provide a link to your website and specify exactly where you would like to make this change, I will try to give you a solution.
Thanks
