Hi,

Well everything seems to be working properly on my end with the settings mentioned above. In your case I see that the setting from theme panel is being overwritten by another – https://www.screencast.com/t/4vdecv6fR
Try updating the Visual composer plugin to the latest version provided in the theme package and then make the change to a different font for the post content in theme panel, not the same one and check if it applies.

Thanks

Hi,

If you do not have access to make these modifications, you could wait for the plugin to receive an update that would hopefully fix this issue. Or you can just choose not to use the mobile plugin for the moment if it does not work properly in this situation, because the design of the theme is fully responsive and adapts to every device screen size accordingly.

Hi,

You could change the excerpt font color in general like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/soiFHE2fNWUg or by module or block for example like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/iIc5waAyPpeB
Here is a tutorial about using the browser inspector to identify the elements used on a page and their classes and create custom code, that you can use in the Custom css section in theme panel
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Hi,

You can have an ad in the header by entering the ad code in that respective section, in Theme panel->Ads->Header ad – https://www.screencast.com/t/0sv5Fy2yp
More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/

Bug - reply

Hi,

This is a strange issue that is for sure. I have spent some time on your website and I have seen it happen. It is only present for a few seconds then it disappears, but after some scrolling on the page it happens again.
My suggestion would be to disable all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme, remove any modification inserted in theme panel custom code sections or added to the theme files, then clear any caching you have installed. Basically you need to return the theme to the default state and use only the latest version of the plugins from the theme package, so you can then identify the possible cause. This is not a bug probably, as we haven’t had any other similar problems reported or seen this happen before, and most likely it is caused by a plugin.

Hi,

Unfortunately a text logo will not be displayed on mobile, so in the absence of a logo image you must upload a different logo for the mobile theme, in the Logo for mobile section in theme panel –
https://www.screencast.com/t/Brc1EXXHx More information here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
The Big grid that displays on mobile is supposed to show featured posts, so please make sure you have posts in that category. Everything you need to know about the mobile theme is available here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and you can choose to use it on all the website or not, there is no option to have it only for some parts of the site.
Please note that the theme is testes and works properly, if your website is slow there are multiple factors that can affect the speed, like plugins for example or modifications to the theme files. If you want to test this, please disable all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme, remove any modifications made if there are any, clear any caching installed then check the results. You can also use the links provided above to make the site faster.
You can see here for example the time the website spends to load resources
https://www.screencast.com/t/C1dzNcjIst
And that can only be caused by the factors mentioned.

Hi,

That would require some custom css code, to make the header logo and menu remain the same when sticky and the affix class applies, like this
https://www.screencast.com/t/2EJkvrlKII3
This is the code, if you want to use it you must enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css

@media (min-width: 768px) {
.td-header-wrap .td-affix .sf-menu>li>a {
line-height: 60px!important;
}
.td-header-wrap .td-affix .td-main-menu-logo img {
max-height: 60px!important;
}}

Hi,

Maybe additional options to place ads in these pages could be made available in a future update, but I can not say for sure if or when this will happen. For the articles there is the possibility to have one article top ad, inline ad and bottom ad – https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/ so a total of 3 ads in the post content.

Hi,

I have tried this as you are doing it – https://www.screencast.com/t/MEF5LRD1Hp8 and I was able to modify the font for the article content from the text block, in theme panel where there are a multitude of fonts available for each setting
https://www.screencast.com/t/rCSx6dqtr with the proper result – https://www.screencast.com/t/N4Zfy6xvPWuy
Please try changing the font properties for the post page through the theme panel, because it should work as intended. If the modifications do not apply after being made, try clearing any caching installed. If you still have no result, please try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache again then check to see if everything is in order.

Hi,

I have inspected the website and using the Live CSS editor (Chrome extension) I was able to make modifications to it, without any problems whatsoever – https://www.screencast.com/t/nu8HVnVVnB
If you would like to make changes to to elements on the website, here is a guide about using the browser inspector to identify these elements and their classes, and create custom code that you can enter in Theme panel custom code section – https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no update. Envato will send that email even if we simply change the presentation page on Envato. It notifies a change but it cannot know if we updated our presentation page or if we released a new update. It is a flaw in the system. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for understanding!

Hi,

From what I can tell after inspecting your website, it seems that everything is working properly with the social counter – https://www.screencast.com/t/oB8pm1no so I am assuming that this is not a problem anymore.

Hi,

I do not understand what is the problem you are having, you can have as many menu items that you want in the header menu – https://www.screencast.com/t/gF3Ok3N9x by adding them in the menu structure. And also you can stretch all the elements in the header – https://www.screencast.com/t/bbpKj8qT5Vp so there is more then enough space for a lot of menu items.
Please correct me if I misunderstand something.

Hi,

The weather widget will automatically translate itself to the language from the theme panel if a translation is available – https://forum.tagdiv.com/weather-widget/ so it all depends on the language set.

Hi,

Maybe you did not recreate the featured category properly. Please make sure that this category has exactly the name “Featured” and the slug “featured” – https://www.screencast.com/t/NjT06FEvN
Now you should be able to add posts to it and set them as featured.

Hi,

There should be no problem of this kind when you update the theme. Please consult this update tutorial
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
And the theme changelog here – https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
Maybe you are trying to use the Big grid on 1 or 2 columns, and that is not possible in the latest version, and now displays an error message.
Also please make sure you update the plugins bundled with the theme along with the theme update.

Hi,

I can see the Big grid is present on top of the page, but it is not displaying properly and does not contain any modules. Maybe something was damaged in the theme by this reset. Try to uninstall and remove the Visual composer plugin, the upload the latest version from the theme package – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Then edit your homepage and remove the big grid from the page structure, and add it again. Then update the page and check to see if the problem is still there. Also disable all your other plugins except Visual composer, and clear the cache installed, to rule this out as a cause. It is also good to have backups in case something unexpected happens, just to be safe.

Thanks

Hi,

From what I can see on that respective website, when you click on another language option it changes the content not the language. If you try to go to a post page, there is only the native language available in which the post was created and no translation is being made regardless of the language chosen.
Maybe you can find a plugin that you could configure and use, if you would like to be able to translate your whole site content live, by the click of a button.

Hi,

I am sorry for misunderstanding. Please try and regenerate your thumbnails – https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ and take note of the required specifications for the server as well.

Hi,

You should find the lines of code responsible in the php.ini file or htaccess file
https://www.screencast.com/t/awGBJlUiX
The memory has to be set like this in the wp-config file – https://www.screencast.com/t/cNBvk7XEz
These options should be found in these respective files, try and check again.

Hi,

Please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it, the menu should display in every situation, depending on the device. This is how the demo looks on an iPad in portrait – https://www.screencast.com/t/iamUi5zAQ and in landscape – https://www.screencast.com/t/NlltWQrYzQ0
To achieve something as to display the mobile menu in this situation it would require probably major changes to the theme files and media queries and a lot of hard work changing the design of the theme. This feature applies in certain situations based on the screen size, and there are a lot of automatic functions that are involved in the process.

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no option at the moment to change the width of the theme. This kind of modification can only be done with custom code – https://www.screencast.com/t/NAJmeIXPjWqt modifying the theme files directly or through a child theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Please note that if you choose to use the mobile theme plugin, the sidebar set on desktop will not be displayed on mobile – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ but if you are not, the sidebar will be displayed after the article in the post page.
Maybe some options for changing the width of the theme will be made available in future updates, but I can not say for sure if or when this will happen. The theme is in a continuous development process, and each update is meant to improve it and we take in account our users requests.
