Hi,
We have not received any messages from you here on the forum, this being the first topic you have started. Please specify what are the complications that you encounter contacting us. You can post any issue or question here on the forum, and we will provide you an answer in the allocated support hours (Monday – Friday:
8:00 AM – 17:00 PM)
Regarding the notification you have received, unfortunately there is no update. An email will be sent even if we simply change the presentation page on Envato. It notifies a change but it cannot know if we updated our presentation page or if we released a new update. It is a flaw in the system. Sorry for any inconvenience this situation might have caused you.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi,
Please provide more information about how are you testing this and how it is affecting your website, so we can investigate as we have not had an similar reports in this matter.
Thanks
Hi,
That is usually the case when using a caching plugin. All this is better explained here
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/
Please use this guide to configure the cache plugin with the recommended settings
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thanks
Hi,
We are aware of this issue with the header logo on Header style 8 in combination with a background, a fix will be provided as soon as possible. Please try to use this code as a quick fix in the meantime
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ORmR58t4DpDU
This is the code used in the example, you must enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td-header-style-8 .td-header-sp-logo img {
left: 48px;
}
Please let me know if this is not working for you, or you need further help.
Thanks
Hi,
You can choose the categories that appear in the ajax filter like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/XXZD7GALb and there you must enter the category ID’s that you want to display – https://www.screencast.com/t/MEB2CzJJme
Here are some examples where the featured category is present in the filter
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-less-images/

Thanks
Hi,
From what I can see after inspecting your website, you are using an older version of the theme with many customizations and plugins that can be causing this. I would suggest to disable all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme, clear any caching installed and try to see if this solves the problem. If not, you can try to update the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and use only the plugins provided in the package updated to the latest version, and you should have no more problems in this matter and you can test the page in the validator. Then you could activate your plugins one at a time and possibly identify the cause.
Most likely this is caused by plugins, or custom modification to the theme, because we had no other similar reports regarding this.
Thanks
Hi,
The demo comes with predefined dummy content that you can replace (not edit) with you own content
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ when you should decide to uninstall or change the demo all the dummy content will be removed, leaving the website as it was previously.
You have to create your own menu structure – https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
categories – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-category-settings-work/ and posts – https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
Then you can assign these categories and posts to the elements in the page structure
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
The Politics demo uses header style 11 and a text logo – https://www.screencast.com/t/ds0nKRVMTD you have the option to make the menu sticky in theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/D5vgadKOdL and use the mobile logo on the sticky menu – https://www.screencast.com/t/ucmyzu6mp
The Fashion demo uses Header style 10 and a normal image logo – https://www.screencast.com/t/Ll5BE10G18uh that can be displayed on the menu when sticky.
Please let me know if I can be of further help, or you need any clarifications.
Thanks
Hi,
I have installed the Medicine demo that comes with red background color for the header menu, but I do not have this problem. In your case there seems to be a delay for the background color to apply. You can try to optimize the website by installing this recommended cache plugin with the setting provided in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also please check this tutorial about improving page loading speed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks
Hi,
Try as a test to switch to the main theme from the child theme, and check if the problem is still there. If it is not, it means that you will have to check the code in the child theme and see what could be causing this. Also this could happen because of some plugin, so you can try disabling them all except the ones bundled with the theme, clear any caching installed and see if the issue persists. If you cannot solve this, please provide a link to your website pointing to the problem, so we can take a look and try to give you a solution.
Thanks
Hi,
You can try as suggested the FTP install method, as this is the surest way to install any theme
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Please let us know if you need further help installing the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
Please notice that the subcategories in the menu are displayed in alphabetical order by default, if you want to change this order you could try to use a plugin like Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order as there many users here on the forum that are using this plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
It would be best if these modifications are made directly in the demo stylesheet – https://www.screencast.com/t/FDtYuhSYGg instead of creating overwriting code that is proving to be not so easy, this would also remove the need to use a considerable amount of code to achieve just a color change, needed for each of the tabs. Please try and make the modifications to the category tag and the tab color and this will be a better solution. Please let me know if you need further help.
Thanks
Hi,
I do not know why you choose to do this. Please note that there are Full Big grids available that you can use, like this for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7VnkdffkH
– https://www.screencast.com/t/p0CkAHhi
With this result – https://www.screencast.com/t/rtIwKRgyG
There are many Full Big grids available that you can choose from in Visual composer and achieve the result you want without modifying the theme files.
Thanks
Hi,
Try this code, you must enter it in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom Css
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gvD0rAzi
body {
background-color: white;
}
Thanks
Hi,
If you mean the class td-category-header you can find it in the theme’s stylesheet file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/kvIbld42nLP
The category templates can be found here – https://www.screencast.com/t/RstdEhfemw
Thanks
Hi,
I am assuming that you are talking about the “Latest Articles” section at the bottom of the page. This section can be removed by selecting a different page template in the page edit screen here
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZksXMPRWu
More information about the page templates available here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/
Thanks
Hi,
There you must enter the Adsense ad code. Or if you are not using Google Adsense just paste an ad code in the required section and the theme will detect this non Adsense code, and it will render the code on the front end unmodified
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/
Thanks
Hi,
Please check if you have entered any custom code affecting the header elements, in Theme panel custom code section and remove it or modify it accordingly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/tQvCsx9qEcGt
The latest theme version has options by default if you want to stretch the elements in the header or footer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ByaPweS8
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately I can not give you a definite solution for this. This is the way the theme was designed, and if it would be easy as to just change a line of code I would be more then happy to help you. But as I said it requires major changes to change the breaking point for the mobile menu to display, and no solution was provided on this forum regarding this as a reference point. Please keep in mind that this could be a theme option in a future update, but I can not say for sure if or when this will happen. I am sorry that I could not provide you with a solution in this matter.
Thank you for understanding!
Hi,
If you have made fresh theme install and used only the latest version of the plugins provided in the theme package, the problem should not be present anymore. But I see nothing has changed at the moment, and the Big grid is still missing from the homepage. Try making a test page and add some elements from Visual composer in it, then save and check if there is any problem.
Also check the theme status – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and see if there are any modifications needed to be made according to the guide.
Thanks
Hi,
You can try this code, it will make the tabs be the same defined color when hovered and active
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xFMznnQgq0l
.td-tab-color .vc_tta-title-text:hover,
.vc_active .vc_tta-title-text {
color: #ffda00;
}
Thanks
Hi,
That is the only available header ad spot in the theme. There is where you will have to insert your ad code, and there can only be one header ad displayed in this section. Please provide more information if you have problems with this header ad.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme automatically creates the thumbnail sizes required for the different modules and blocks from the featured images. Each module has a defined image size that will be displayed if it is enabled in theme panel.
If you have existing content you must use the regenerate thumbnail tool in order to recreate the thumbnails required for these modules. Please try the regenerating tool provided above and the requirements mentioned in that guide. And remove any modifications you say were made. Also clear any caching installed after the regeneration process is complete.
If you tried this method and with no results, please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it.
You can see all the blocks and big grids used in the theme in the demo
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
Thanks
Hi,
The mobile theme was designed for performance and speed. That is why it comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc. There is no option to change the default post template when using the mobile theme. If you want to display the same content available on desktop on mobile devices, you can choose not to use the mobile theme plugin, and due to the theme’s responsive design the pages will be automatically resized to different screen sizes.
More information about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi,
But that is how it supposed to be displayed on the ajax filter, in my case also – https://www.screencast.com/t/0Qoe2jf9t
The featured category does not display as a tag on blocks and modules – https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Thanks
