In order to insert a shortcode you will have to create the form with a 3rd party plugin. This option cannot be added from the theme panel. You will have to use a template or edit an already imported one using the tagDiv Composer and as you’ve mentioned simply insert the shortcode in the TEXT tab in column text.

In order to embed a video in a post you can simply copy the youtube url and paste it in the post editor.
A video page can be created using the tagDiv Composer and insert the video in column text elements.
The playlists, as it sounds it creates a playlists by inserting youtube or vimeo video ids into it.

That comes from the footer syle, you have to simply change the footer style as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/i8N9xttC Also check for those errors because they are most likely caused by a plugin conflict.

The only way would be to create a staging site and duplicate everything. After that start checking the plugins because first of all and 99% of the bugs come from plugins so it’s hard to diagnose without the possibility of disabling plugins.

That is because TagDiv Composer is a MUST have plugin in order to run the newspaper theme, that is why the theme panel will become unavailable.

Honestly I think that child theme would be harder to configure than a normal template.
Simply go into Cloud Templates – Add new, select a Homepage and edit it using the tagDiv Composer. Once the page is imported you will be able to see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/h1B5CBBp
Press edit with tagDiv Composer and then you can see this: https://www.screencast.com/t/opIBY3oFsNk7 ; Simply right click on the elements from the header and the footer and delete them. Please note that for footer you will need to import a footer page, and do the same thing as in the homepage: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

CSS should work without a problem even on cloud. If you’re using cloud than all the modifications can be achieved using the tagDiv Composer . Let us know what colors you want to edit and we will be more than happy to help.
