Hi, that didn’t work. I found an explanation for this issue on an other site:

“Hi, thunbnails are generated on instagrams side and it looks like they clear out the cdn so the thumbnail_url becomes invalid. If you want an all ways up to-date thumbnail to appear on your site i would recommend using the “embed_url” property to form query to instagrams oembed api. const…”

However, there are regular content updates, and even a 15hour old post comes back with a 403 error, and “url timestamp expired” message.

I’m not able to use WP Editor in TagDiv Composer, for Column Content, getting a 403 error even though it’s been working for a while.

/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php

I checked Newspaper’s sections on 403 errors like this, and all my settings are good, file permissions are good, .htaccess is good. Nothing’s really changed, and not sure how to undo this. Am following up with my host, though all their settings are good and it has been working for a long time, no plugins added.

Know these kinds of problems are tricky to figure out, wondering if there’s any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi,

Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme, 11.5.1
Please check if this code is missing from your .htaccess: https://www.screencast.com/t/iN0R93dD3p from our requirements https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ this requirement is not displayed in System Status.
Usually, after you set the code in .htaccess the WP editor works well.
Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and try to open the WP Editor.
Please check the console if you have any errors when you try to open the wp editor, maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.

Thank you!

When we tried to copy the content and paste it into an empty column, it just show an loading icon forever.
We investigated and saw that it because the POST request to “/wp-json/td-composer/do_job?tmp_jobId=1…” was returned with 403 error.
We attached the link to the video then you can easier to understand the error.

Hi,
403 forbidden means that your browser isn’t able to load the scripts up because your server isn’t allowing it. This is a hard one to solve. Because anything could be blocking the server. Hence 403 forbidden error is very vague.
First please try the steps from our guide -> https://i.imgur.com/DsqL32o.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/ in case that this is not solving the problem:
– It can be a server permissions/ownership issue. If its a permission issue, it may tell you which file has incorrect permissions, so ask your host what’s going on. If you are using cPanel, the following tutorial has more information about the error log in cPane: How to view cPanel Error logs
– File permissions, you can follow the steps in the below article to learn how to modify your file permissions: How to change file permissions within cPanel https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
– Another possible cause could be a corrupt .htaccess file. Also check your .htaccess files for anything strange.
– make sure your server settings are not overriding the .htaccess file.
– Another possible cause could be changes to the server settings (accidental or otherwise). Check with your hosting provider.
Thank you!

This is the reason why I have not extended support via Envato market. Do you call this ready-made template answer support?

Of course, this is not a timeout error (and especially this is not a 403 or 404 error), look at my thread.

As for the Cloudflare Rocker Loader, this is never switched on.

I’ve been a Tagdiv user for 5 years, the editor has always been a headache.

“Please check if the code needs to be set between head tags, this can be set in our theme in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes” ?

Look what I wrote: No matter if I have set up the custom ad with adsense code and the Javascript correctly

Thank you.

Hello!

We have a guide with some tips why our Composer is not working properly, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
Check some other possible factors which can interfere in our theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/

“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
If you did these steps and you can’t see the content on the frontend, then this can be caused if something interfere there when the WP Editor saves the content you added and the process can not be completed. Please check the steps from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/unable-to-edit-text-with-title/ and also other possible issue as here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/403-error-on-tagdiv-composer-when-trying-to-use-wp-editor-wpedito-php/
Please check your .htaccess file also: https://www.screencast.com/t/MJ78SDZr4Gl -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hello, This issue still seems to be occurring. We have turned off all of our firewalls and even basically all of out plugins at certain points to try and fix this with no luck.

Do you happen to have any recommendation for hosting an Siteground, while using Cloudflare as we can not control the setting you are speaking of in your last message? The SG Optimizer has been disabled and tested, but that has not helped the issue.

Here are the logs that we get from the consol when we try to update the footer in general, or specifically the content on the home page:

Thank you for your commitment – as we prefere to have CF enabled we have managed to disable rocket loader AND exclude https://ecoreporters.pl/wp-json/td-cloud-library* so the posts loads normally and devtools doesnt throw 403 forbidden ERROR.
BUT as we can see (please check by yourself) it always loads 3 or 4 post and no more- why? Could you help to investigate? example url: https://ecoreporters.pl/2022/orange-energia-ma-nowe-pomysly-na-fotowoltaike/

Hi Anamaria, I don’t get 403 or 404 errors on the console when I edit my page. I asked my web host, but I have little hope that this is it.
