Weird. It DOES scroll down forever.

Couple of things to try:
a) disable the contact form 7 loading on single posts if you only use on pages — wasteful there

b) try changing background to solid color as it might be the “size” of the background image; often smaller “tiled” image better than “big giant image” — this used to be issue in old HTML hand coding days, but only thing there that “might” be culprit

c) you might have to disable plugins one by one to see if smoething is loading hidden element “below” the end of the HTML container; we had issues with this back in the day with certain social sharing plugins

When I click on the image in the media (like the screen shot you sent) it does not give me attachment display settings. It only reads… View attachment page | edit more details | delete permanently. If I click on any of these it still does not give me the option for full size image.

I don’t know where to change the code like in the screen shot you sent.

I keep thinking it has something to do with where I’m uploading it to. Can you confirm for that this is where I should be uploading my image for the header on my blog page?

From the Newspaper Theme panel scroll down to logo & favicon menu. Then upload it to the logo slot where it reads: Upload your logo (272 x 90px) .png or .jpg

Sorry, I’d like to figure this out. I’m sure it’s something so simple :/

After referring to your comment and the link provided, finally, I successfully activated the speed booster plugin and successfully moved all .JS files in the footer.

In my previous attempt, I was not able to find the correct CSS and JS ID, but this I found it. Reason?

Just discovered the real issue behind why we usually are not able to find the correct .js and .css id for adding it to the td-speed-booster.php and the issue was: I was copying text from the wrong location.

Like me, We all usually copy the “Registered .JS and Registered .CSS code” that appear on the top of the WordPress admin page where we have just added the “code” in functions.php code.

Actually, it displays only those .CSS and .JS codes that loads under WordPress Admin Dashboard panel. To find the actual codes, you must visit either your homepage or any post and then copy the “Registered .JS and Registered .CSS ” file into a text.

But in the case of CSS files, Google Pagespeed still showing various .CSS files

Though when I check the “View Source” of my post on Google Chrome, I can see these CSS moving from top to footer ( checked with and without adding the code and noticed the difference) , it’s just that it’s not appearing on Google Pagespeed result. Of course, I cleared all kind of Cache ( Super Cache+ Cloudflare) before checking it, but it’s not reflecting on Google Pagespeed result.

Only one .JS file still appears o some of the post, ie:

http://domain.com/wp-content/plugins/akismet/_inc/form.js

Do you know ID for Akismet so that I can attempt to move it too?

One more important thing- Under some thread, somebody mentioned to search for CSS ID using “View Source” page on Google Chrome but the ID that appears on this page like :

<link rel='stylesheet' id='google-fonts-style-css'  href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?

These IDs contain “-css” at the end but it doesn’t work . Actually ID as found using this method ( Point 5.2) , doesn’t contain -css in the ID and it works well.

So, one should use ‘google-fonts-style’ as CSS ID not ‘google-fonts-style-css’

Can you tell me why it’snot displaying on Google Pagespeed? Is there something else that I need to look on?

PS: I am planning to remove https://wordpress.org/plugins/host-analyticsjs-local/ plugin. Don’t know if it’s the reason behind low traffic

I also notice when you paginate through the smart list for the first time it causes some issue for example:

Main page: http://www.domain.com/category/post
First pagination: http://www.domain.com/category/post2
Next (2nd) pagination: http://www.domain.com/category/post2/3/

If I then happen to refresh the page for whatever reason I get a 404 page. I understand the pagination is JS/jQuery but it really should refresh without a 404.

Only for those who using a proxy server domain is good to use that snnipet.

For users that not using any CDN, inspect your preferred domain!!!

In your case @neermargran you serve files from “another” domain. I mean, your default domain begins with www (http://www.lopak.org) but you serve your stylesheets & javascripts from the same domain, but without “www” (http://lopak.org).

What options do I have for header styling on category home page posts?
It seems that most of the blocks have the same heavy horiz. line above post photo with white title inset into the colored tab.
Is there a way to use a lighter styling on this graphic detail? I noticed on the Travel Blog layout this detail was simpler. See the attached screenshot.

Also what block would I use to include an Amazon affiliate ad in a block or widget? The copy-paste Amazon ads are in iframe format. In other themes these would display if placed in a simple WP text widget. But I can’t get that to work here. I’ve pasted the iframe code into a text block, WP text widget and the Google maps which says it can manage iframe code.

The logo there at the top fo the home page. If you save image to downloads you can inspect it in Photohop.
This is interesting though: What I just discovered upon uploading it again is when I download back down from the website it changed the size down to 4″. The original upload is 12 inches long. So the website is shrinking it somehow.

I wish I could attach a scree shot somehow.

When you’re using back-ground color or background image the theme switch in boxed layout and only page’s content is visible. The server configuration seems to be fine.
We made some tests in the past with 70.000 posts in db and the theme worked almost fine, the delays in admin were no bigger then 3-4 seconds, but I have to mention that we didn’t had the amount of traffic as your site does.

Debugging this issue on such a big site is not an easy task and also require a lot of time and some specific skills. The best way would be to make clone of the site on a development domain if possible and try to debug there this issue. When the site grows like this it’s also recommended to contact a person who can handle issues related with server configuration, memory spikes or conflicts between themes and plugins.
If you can setup a clone on your site let us know and also give as admin to it so we can have a closer look and make some additional tests. We would prefer a test site to void any possible issues which may occur while we make the tests.

WordPress makes a lot of requests to database in admin panel and the response time is very much influenced by how well is database optimized. You can also contact your host provider and ask him if he have some specific suggestion to optimize the database and also for php.
It may also be helpful a tool for monitoring the queries, an example would be https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/screenshots/ From the reviews I’ve noticed that these plugins are very useful in this regard.
Another important aspects is the authors/editors numbers. Do you have many of them, also many of them are simultaneously logged in on the site and perform actions? If many users are logged in the queries made by wp and are multiplied and server need to handle a bigger load.

To access the server via ftp you fill need a ftp-client interface like filezilla for example: https://filezilla-project.org/ Also follow the host’s documentation for more details about how can you access the ftp and c-panel if you have it available.

The images used as featured images must be at least by thumb size where that featured image will be displayed. For example here http://screencast.com/t/N13WWjEF you’re using an image by 120x170px, that is the original size. The theme won’t enlarge images, it only crops them. Try to set a bigger image as featured image for that post, clear all caches then test the site again.

I’ve checked your site and ads are displayed fine, as can be seen in my screen the proper ad-spot is called on desktop: http://screencast.com/t/rYiatnDdfkqv When mobile theme is used on mobile ads are served by mobile ad-spots, and as an example the one who serve the header have a different name: http://screencast.com/t/ahL086xy
I also noticed that you using an ad system which is not tested with our theme. We tested only ad-sense and banner ads and we can’t guarantee that other ads will be displayed fine by the theme.
