Hello,
Can you provide some screenshots of your problem?
You can edit the mobile page with tagDiv Composer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY (03:11 – Mobile Templates & Pages)
Thank you!
Hello,
I understand you have created a mobile page, please make sure you set it => https://www.screencast.com/t/bYroSq7x8T9, also, the header and footer are taken from the standard ones. All you have to do is edit the mobile page, and in Manager (Website Manager) you need to import or the easy way is to convert the existent footer like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY (03:11 – Mobile Templates & Pages)
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello !
On our side we are already running the latest version of AMP. From what I have seen some of our users also use it and there seem to be no issue at the moment.
Thank you !
Hi Anamaria,
Thanks, that set me in the right direction. I noticed that several posts had other data in the td_post_theme_settings. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be there or not but it is. It looks like Yoast data…
An example:
a:3:{s:10:"has_review";s:10:"rate_stars";s:14:"p_review_stars";a:3:{i:0;a:2:{s:4:"desc";s:26:"Very simple, rugged design";s:4:"rate";s:3:"4.5";}i:1;a:2:{s:4:"desc";s:27:"Clean design inside and out";s:4:"rate";s:3:"4.5";}i:2;a:2:{s:4:"desc";s:11:"Easy towing";s:4:"rate";s:3:"4.5";}}s:6:"review";s:218:"The Rustic Trailer Teardrop Campers Koala Bear travel trailer is a small, rugged and very simple option for campers who wish to elevate their tent camping experience or downsize from a complicated more traditional RV. ";}
So instead of just nulling that field for all posts, I located the standard pack template we were using and replaced just the portion of the text that I needed. This is what I used:
UPDATE wp_postmeta SET 'meta_value' = REPLACE('meta_value', 's:17:"single_template_5";', 's:15:"single_template";') WHERE 'meta_value' LIKE '%s:17:"single_template_5";%' COLLATE utf8mb4_bin
That fixed the problem completely.
This is yet another example of how poorly tagDiv managed the upgrade path from v9 to v10 (I have posted about this at length). This kind of thing >should< have been taken care of by your team or at least made a tool to make the one time upgrade from an older v9 site to the v10 without using the standard pack plugin.
The legacy code from the standard pack is killing our CPU usage (and probably costing us $100-$200 USD a month in CPU charges). I’ve put off removing the standard pack as long as I can but now I have to essentially rebuild the entire site.
Believe me when I say that another theme and page builder was calling my name the entire time I have been struggling with this problem…
Thanks for the info, I’ll get back to work and quit complaining now.
Kim
how can i create a page in mobile editor. I tried already but when i was paste the same code from above portion to mobile editor then it is showing an error i am not a developer too so i don’t understand properly how can i fix this issue e.g if i want to create this same page in mobile editor then how can i create this: https://thecivilengineerings.com/about-me/ (this is desktop version and i want to create the same page in my amp mobile theme)
I hope you understand what i mean.
I need to make a page which will list several photos. Each photo can be clicked to open the associated articles associated with that topic. I’m looking for an easier method than how I am attempting to do this. The new page will load with much the same scenario, a bunch of articles that the user will click on. However, I want each image to be a custom size and not something that would appear within the new article.
For example, the user will click the menu for this page. The new page will have several photos showing all of the categories available with custom sized images that I am creating now. Once the page is selected the new page will have thumbnails for all of the associated products from that category. Again each image is a custom size. Then finally a new page loads with the full details of that item. I won’t be using the images from the other pages in this final article.
Hi everyone,
Google launched a major update for the official AMP Plugin. The current version is 2.1.1 Link to Changelog
Has anyone already tested it? Does it run with the newspaper theme?
Thanks in advance.
Best
KK
Hello!
Please try not to reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.
Unfortunately, there is no button to hit and your score is high or your page speed is very high. You need to try to optimize your website.
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Please give it a try and follow the steps which I presented above about page speed.
Also, check our guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Please make sure to use our newest tool called tagDiv CSS Analyzer which comes in handy to resolve some of your issues. Take a look at the video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
Our tool is running only on normal pages and not for posts or categories for example.
We tested our tool on our demos, and we have such great results!
Take a look in this topic because it could help you: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/css-analyzer-step-by-step-and-doubts/
Thank you!
Hi, I ask for help for the Mobile view, I can’t configure the mobile version of the site I’m doing, give me info thanks.
My site URL: https://www.campanialike.com
Hello,
I saw you use a mobile theme plugin for AMP, so you need to create those pages in the mobile editor, your mobile page content must be added in the mobile editor as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Zy49V5vfYW This can be found at the bottom of every page when editing https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activate, when you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Also, if you create a mobile page, please check if is set correctly => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, which version of the 3 do you want to use for mobile?
Thank you!
I made an author page with the Cloud Templates. Connected it in Template Settings/Author template and it worked fine till yesterday (uninstalled plugin AMP for WP and mobile theme yesterday). This should have nothing to do with it but I thought I mention it anyway. Now when I click on the ‘About Us’ part on the homepage it does nothing. You remain on the homepage instead of going to the Author page. Could you please take a look how to solve this?
My footer menu pages are not working in mobile theme even i off the mobile version too, when i am going to off the mobile version on my about us page the theme elements will disturbed please guide me how can i fix this issue because my about us, disclaimer, privacy policy, terms and conditions and contact pages are not showing in mobile version.
Please check here: https://thecivilengineerings.com/?amp (in the footer menu)
Hi,
I’d like to have the same layout as the Block14 but I want each element of the list to be a Custom Taxonomy that exists already (not a post! not a cpt!) that already has it’s own featured image and permalink.
I was trying to create a Custom Block using the td-plugin-api example but nowhere I could find where to insert a query, it’s logic and start any kind of loop.
How can I do it?
Thanks!
This is more or less what I got, but it still didn’t really solve the problem. I have attached a screenshot from the ‘Magazine Pro’ home page template.
https://onlineinvestmentconference.com/files/2021-05-10_14-43-18.jpg
What I am trying to do is similar to the top row of this sample, but in the middle of a mobile post (the sample Home template doesn’t keep the top row in mobile version) I tried to replicate this row, but I notice that while I can ‘Display Inline’ a date, I can’t seem to ‘Display Inline’ a subtitle or title. Is that correct? And that is why I can’t achieve what I want to do? Or is there another way to do what I want? i.e. put two shortcodes one after the other in the same inner column?

Hello!
Edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer, click on the header logo and you will have this setting: https://www.screencast.com/t/t61OOLjA5H63 ; where you can write a value for example: 100. You can adjust the image width how it fits you the best.
Thank you!
Apart from the title being covered on the desktop ad, it’s also appearing on our mobile home page, even though there’s no ad set for mobile screens, only AMP ads. Our home page is not AMP.

Hello,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
When you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, if you don’t want to use the mobile theme or AMP plugin you can deinstall the plugins.
Thank you!
The latest update of AMP 2.1.1 fixed the issue.
Hello!
I just tested and it is working just fine on my end.
But, for example if you add a new video on your playlist on Youtube, and you want that video to appear first in the list, then this is not possible with our theme and will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, we don’t have a code for Nginx fast CGI to recognize which theme to serve.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

By the way, we have such a great result with this new update and with our new tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Our tool is running only on normal pages and not for posts or categories for example.
“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. When I want to display the same content on mobile and on desktop I do not need these, says your documentation. What is your advice, should I uninstall these plugins or is there another (better) way to do this?
Please your advice.
Kind regards,
Anne
Hello !
I have tested this on our side and inspected some live websites. The AMP Update is fully functional with Newspaper Theme and there are no issues from what I can see. This may be due a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let us know the result!
Thank you!
Hello!
I just tested your website for example for the tag: wordpress and the link is redirecting to the tag page and not to the tag template.
Unfortunately, there is no setting to hide the URLs.
Thank you!
Hello!
1. Mobile – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on small screen devices (no AMP)
2. Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
3. AMP – Uses the responsive version of the theme on small screen devices and Mobile Theme only on AMP.
For more information about those plugins, you can find in our documentation:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
