We ran the developers page speed test by Google and it has aksed us to do couple of things to fasten things up.
How can we do the following? Any options in the theme?

Updated to the latest version, cleared cache but the featured image and thumbnail for the standard post is not working. All my new posts seem to be suffering from this issue. Here’s a sample of my post

The thumbnails look alright to me, they are of the needed size. You could chnage the module if you don’t like module 5.

1. Should be same as before if the same database is used. If that was not the case, I imagine it would take a lot of time to set them again if there are many posts, categories tags etc.
Most users recommend the duplicator plugin which should migrate/move the database, WordPress, theme etc without losing anything.
I don’t have much experience with databases unfortunately, so I can’t gibe you an advice in the matter.
2. The tagDiv composer and the social counter plugin have an automated update implementation, so when the theme is updated they should do the same automatically. However in some cases this fails and they will deactivate themselves, so they will have to be updated manually in the theme plugins panel for example (there will be an update button)

You can reinstall the theme at any time and activate it, that will not be a problem. Once purchased it can be used when needed.
The theme will appear in the WordPress themes folder, it can be deleted from there manually or from WordPress, for example

The pagination you are referring to is the smart list pagination. Module 15 you use for the blog page displays all the post content in the homepage

Choose the image that you want and name it “favicon.ico”, then upload it in the root website directory. It will be picked by AMP and displayed, it seems to work in my case.

i still have the same problem. When i make some changes in the theme panel, then my template settings is gonna default. I put some templates from cloud library, like; 404 Template 7, Date Template 2, Search Template 5…, and after some changes template setting is gonna default. I dont have any plugins that are not tasted with Newspaper. I have noticed there’s a problem with how the Newspaper theme handles the canonical tag in the home page, and this is affecting how the site gets indexed in a negative way. The theme generates the canonical tag perfectly for categories and tags paginations, but for some reason, it does not work for the home page.
For example, this is how it works with the tags and categories paginations, where it works perfectly:
<link rel=”canonical” href=”https://pagexample.com/page/3/” />
<link rel=”prev” href=”https://pagexample.com/page/2/” />
<link rel=”next” href=”https://pagexample.com/page/4/” />
As you can see, it generates the rel=”prev” and rel=”next” tags.
But when we check paginations for the home page, those two tags don’t get generated, it only generates this tag:
<link rel=”canonical” href=”https://homepage.com/page/3/” />
So as we can see the rel=”prev” and rel=”next” tags are missing.
The problem this is causing is that those paginations are being treated as a completely single page because those two tags are missing. This causes Google to rank those pagination above the main home page in a a lot of cases, and causing other abnormal indexations. I have checked many themes and noticed the Newspaper and Newsmag themes appear to be the only themes with this inconvenience.

I followed the instructions and updated the theme to a newer version. But after doing that, i tried previewing everything, and my website was disorganized. All they settings and styles, were changed, and i was unable to see even the composer.
What can i do?
