Please note that Newspaper theme was designed in 3 columns fixed grid, so the blocks are recommended to be used 1/1 – 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3, or2/3 + 1/3 – http://screencast.com/t/6gdyLvoX4 You can also split row like you want, but not all blocks will work fine and you may need additional customizations.

You can try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css to remove underline for articles titles on blocks/modules also on Big Slide and normal Slide:

.iosSlider .td-sbig-title-wrap a:hover span, .td-big-grid-title a:hover, .td_mod_wrap .entry-title a:hover {
text-decoration: none !important;
}

Hi,

I’m not sure how you can do this as the articles position is changing in the block/module so I’m afraid that you cannot change the border color depending on category of the post.

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option for this, but you can add a border using custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css – http://screencast.com/t/l8ffqjr5Hcc but this it will apply anywhere you use module 10. You will need custom work to achieve that, eventually add an extra class to column where you use block 10 to target only that block – http://screencast.com/t/oH1JgW8X7MU6 and if you want a different color you can use nth-child selector – http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/sel_nth-child.asp – http://screencast.com/t/3ZzQIuaJAcS

Hi,

This feature doesn’t work well with caching plugins, so you should test this without a cache plugin. I guess that this caused also issues with your block (“it doesn’t update that often”).
Also you have to wait 24-48 hours to be sure that the above solution works as this sort option is applying from the moment that it is activated on a block.

Adding this code into the modules it should display reading time for your articles on pages, category pages every where there are used modules/blocks.
If you want reading date also on your post pages you have to edit loop single (for each post template) – http://screencast.com/t/W8kHujLb86s
2. Also the progress bar I guess that it must be activated from plugin’s settings.

Unfortunately we did not tested this plugin and if you don’t know how to implement it I suggest to hire a freelancer to do this for you as we cannot provide any type of custom work at this time, sorry!
