Dear Calin,
I need to display the featured image everywhere if an image is uploaded, as it is now. And, on the other hand, hide featured images globally from all posts and pages (no empty space, no broken images) if a featured image is not uploaded.
If I remove the featured image from the single post template using tagDiv Composer, then the featured image will not display in all posts.
I use Flex Block 1. If I hide the image in the Layout – article image – hide image, then the image hides all categories, even if I upload it.
Could you figure out and help me?

In case you want to have this functionality https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_podcasts/ then you need to use audio formats for your articles, set the links for audio, and the featured image will be transformed into audio. Also, on your websites, you should use flex blocks to have the audio icon displayed. https://i.imgur.com/zceMuk7.png
Also, you can import from cloud the blocks you like for audio and video format and just adjust them using tagDiv Composer.
Also, for the single post template, make sure that you are using the Single Featured image, not the background one.

That is a very old theme version. However, even after updating the theme, the website should look the same. Before making any changes, please ensure you have a full backup.
After updating the theme, it is important to install the Standard Pack plugin: https://i.imgur.com/8heENe0.png This plugin, introduced in Newspaper 10, contains all the old blocks and templates, which are now separated from the main theme. You can find more details in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-update-standard-pack-or-tagdiv-cloud-templates/
Please also make sure to clear the cache, optimized resources, and Cloudflare cache (if you are using Cloudflare) after updating the theme.
If you are using a child theme, we recommend deactivating it after the update, as it may cause compatibility issues.

The featured image is displayed everywhere on the website, but I need to completely hide it(from the main page, category, modules, blocks, and of course, from single posts) if I don’t upload a featured image. I have Newspaper 12.7.4.

To display those results on a page, you need to use tagDiv Composer. Add a Flex Block (or even a Flex Block Builder). After setting the layout you want, configure it to display the custom post type you need; in your case, country-town and/or drinks-stays-eat.

I wonder why i have different fonts while i am using draft vs published ?
For example, #1 image is draft, i like the look but in published version its another font.
Also, when i try to use any of Cloud templates, in preview there is one styling but when i import in my web all is messed up.
Since i do have your theme for a few years now i wonder if i can somewhere ‘reset’ all fonts and select overall look for headings and paragraphs or every block should have their own settings? Which in case of importing cloud – is not working at my web ?
I did check https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/ so here is breakdown and correct me if i am wrong:
At this moment we have
– website manager with “Global fonts” [ if i import multiple various blocks all those fonts should appear here when having them on one page ]
– we have fonts for each block individually [when i click particular block it shows in sidebar]
– and last we have Theme fonts in settings
Whats puzzling here is what is priority of usage? What is purpose of theme panel if for example i set VERDANA font there and when i import anything it will be overridden ?
If i disable google fonts there, and your block is using them – why do i see different fonts instead of default one ?
Basically what i want [ here is my plan, correct me if i am wrong ]
– i would like to combine multiple blocks from your library
– blocks should be imported with styles you made them
– i will have to use Website manager > global fonts for changes of all visible styles there

If you are on an article, you can edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and right-click the elements you want to remove.
We disabled tagDiv Mobile Theme and AMP plugins. It is loading on the mobile phone.
When the Blockchain Demo loads on the Mobile View first time, there is a gap between the header bar and the below text: “Invest in crypto the smart way! Making Blockchain & Crypto accessible and usable for everyone”
This happens only First Time it loads and if we refresh after that, it goes back to normal position. Could you please help us to fix this?
Also, the Blockchain Logo does not appear on the Mobile View. Could you please let us know how to fix it?
The other issue is with the Menu on the Mobile View: when we click on the 3 lines for menu on top on the mobile view it does not show the Menu, instead it is showing “Click here – to use the wp menu builder”. Could you please let us know how we can make the Menu visible on the mobile view?

I never assumed that issues could not originate from theme settings or specific elements, especially with a theme as extensive as Newsapper, where its wide range of dimensions and options can naturally lead to configuration-related problems.
What I intended to emphasize in my previous email was not a request to modify the demo or prebuilt website. Rather, I was referring to the confirmation you provided when the footer was replaced with a different one and the issue appeared to be resolved. This indicates that the root cause is likely one or more elements used within the footer section.
Most likely, the extra CSS being displayed is generated by the settings applied to those elements (such as color, size, and similar styling options).
As a next step, this can be addressed by using the option available in the theme panel under Block Settings > Inline CSS:

I was wondering whether you can let us know the size of the image you used in the above answer? We tried with different sizes, but all of them go to the bottom part of the blue area.

Unfortunately, this is not possible.
The Feeds plugin you are using automatically adds articles, and the Flex block displays those articles. However, the link to the original source can only be set within the article itself.
This means that when a user clicks on the Flex block, the article will open on your website. From there, if you include the source link inside the article, users will be able to access it.

I am using WP RSS Aggregator Pro v5 coupled with the tagdiv Newspaper Default Pro theme for a news aggregator site.
Can I add the RSS Aggregator shortcode to an already created flex block to get the direct external link functionality? My current set up has a nice-looking homepage. If you click an article on the homepage I am taken to another page on my site for the article. I want to have the first click on the article to link directly to the external site for the full article. Is this possible with the Flex Blocks?

I’m having an issue with the Newspaper plugin menu. I have some custom links and categories with sub-items under each one. When I’m on the homepage, hovering over a menu item does not display the sub-items. However, if I go to any post or internal page, the hover works perfectly and the submenus appear as expected.
I’m not sure why the menu seems blocked from showing sub-items on the homepage. Could anyone help me understand what might be causing this and how to fix it?
