It seems your block Popular Category lacks Filter options section. I would like it to display Popular Custom Taxonomy – how to best achieve this result?
Would you consider adding these customization options to your block? It would no doubt be handy for other developer’s use cases as well.
Hi,
I think that you want to create a block and set it in widgets so when you edit it, widgets will change it in all places, right? If so, then you need to create a new page, set the block using tagDiv Composer (a flex block), after that when is done, use the WordPress editor and copy the block’s shortcode https://i.imgur.com/XCbQe2G.png and set it in a widget in a text element.
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
The mentioned blocks are old blocks that have only a few options to be customized. We are recommending using Flex blocks, which are powerful, and you can edit them because they have options for almost everything. With our theme, we cna even create your own blocks and modules .
Thank you!
Hi,
This is because the hover color for the “Related articles” block is set to be white. Use tagDiv Composer, edit teh single post template, select the “Related articles” block and look in the style tab

Is there a way to add a Flex Block to a Widgetized Sidebar, so I can manage all Widget Sidebars collectively in the Widget management page?
Currently I’m trying to add a basic listing of newest posts with primary category in meta box, but none of the blocks seem to have (without an image!)…
I’ve created a separate related issue here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/block-9-w-module-8-preview-is-showing-primary-category-in-meta-box-but-missing/
In your block’s doc page at https://forum.tagdiv.com/blocks/ there is Block 9 with Module 8 preview image showing primary category in meta box, but it is actually missing…
How to add it visible?
Hi,
What you need to do is to check the settings on the mobile viewport and adjust them on each block that doesn’t look ok and on each column. For this edit, teh page using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/D9Gawe6.png then select the mobile view port – https://i.imgur.com/Pks8bjA.png after that select the block that do not looks good, the one from your image I beelive taht has set on the column that is holding ist a custom width (300%) so on mobile should be 100%, to do this slect the element the in the side bacr in tagDiv Composer over the block name you see row > column click on column and look in Layout tab and css if there are any values set for width, if there are repalce them with 100%.
Also, the flex block can be edited per viewport for example, the number of modules per viewport – https://i.imgur.com/Lk9aW6X.png
Hi,
If you do not want to do yjos globally and only on flex block 1 then you can use the options from the flex block 1, edit the page using tagDiv Composer, select the block and disable the comments – https://i.imgur.com/vtZ7Z3N.png
Dear Team,
How can I completely disable the comments counter (comment bubble / number) in Flex Block 1 only, without affecting other modules?
I already tried:
– disabling comments globally
– category settings
– custom CSS
The comments still appear in Flex Block 1 on homepage.
Is there any internal class, hook, or filter specific to Flex Block 1 that allows disabling the comments counter without overriding the template file?
Hi Calin,
Thank you so much for your reply.
The problem was the last item, the offset from the block option in the generals tab!
My 2 cents is that option should be in the “filter” tab, I would suggest you consider moving this option to the filter tab in future uptades.
Thanks again!

Hi,
I think that one is flex block 1 if so then you need to use tagDiv Composer, edit the page, select the block and search for “Module background”. This will be under the style tab – https://i.imgur.com/PkYnWoR.png
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are on a page, make sure that you do not have the option for unique articles enabled, if you have it please disable it.
Also, if you are on a cloud template and not a page, please make sure that you set the right filter. For example, if it is a cloud category template, you need to select the filter current category https://i.imgur.com/8HjGA8c.png, for tag, current tag.
Another settings that can be checked are the options for offset from the block – https://i.imgur.com/4ixKaTa.png make sure it is set only if you want to skip a number of articles.
Thank you!
Hello,
We’ll need some more details related to this situation, for example, if this is happeing using teh last theme version, which is 12.7.3, now in case if the problm persist we need to know if this is happeding on a specific page if is on a specific page, then it is need to check the settings from each block on taht page to make sure that only correct values have been set in the blocks settings. Normally, that php warning is referring to an option for a background linear-gradient
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately, I’m not sure that I understand the option you are referring to, maybe you are referring to the option from blocks https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ https://i.imgur.com/DrGChxe.png or maybe you are referring to the article options Infinite Loading for Single Posts.
Thank you!
I have a problem with my website not displaying most recent post on different pages like tag, category and on Flex Boxes on the main page. If I deactivate tagDiv Cloud Library, tag and category pages display the most current posts as expected. Same if I load another theme…
This has been ongoing for a few months since I installed this theme, I currently have the most recent version with the latest compatible wordpress version. I have disabled all other plugins and caching (cloudflare), to exclude plugins conflicts.
The block filters for my “Latest News” Flex Block 3 are as follow:
Category Filter: “–All categories–”
Sort Order: “Latest”
I have tried changeing it to “Random post from last 7 days” and the most recent post does appear sometime but when I select “Latest” again, it disapears.
All other options are empty or the default one.
Any ideas what is causing this issue?
I did this a couple of times — this is AI answer, possibly wrong —
Manual HTML Iframe (More Control)
Use this if the standard embed block does not display correctly or if you want to customize the dimensions.
Get Embed Code: On the Facebook Reel (desktop), click the three dots (…) or the Share button and select Embed.
Copy Code: A popup will appear with an HTML snippet. Copy this code.
Insert in WordPress:
In the WordPress editor, add a Custom HTML block.
Paste the copied code into the block.
Use the Preview tab to see how it looks before publishing.
I’m experiencing PHP warnings with TagDiv Newspaper 12 and td-composer when editing pages in WordPress admin:
Error messages:
Warning: Undefined array key “color-1-overlay” in /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php on line 2679
Warning: Undefined array key “color-2-overlay” in /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php on line 2679
Environment:
WordPress: [ta version]
Newspaper theme: 12.x
td-composer version: [ta version]
PHP version: 8.x
Issue location:
File: /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php
Line: ~2679
Suggested fix:
Replace direct array access with null coalescing operator or isset() check:
php// Current code (causing warnings):
$overlay_color_1 = $atts[‘color-1-overlay’];
$overlay_color_2 = $atts[‘color-2-overlay’];
// Suggested fix:
$overlay_color_1 = $atts[‘color-1-overlay’] ?? ”;
$overlay_color_2 = $atts[‘color-2-overlay’] ?? ”;
This would ensure compatibility with PHP 8.x strict error reporting and prevent warnings when overlay colors are not defined in block configuration.
Current workaround:
I’ve temporarily suppressed warnings via error_reporting(), but a permanent fix in the core plugin would be appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,
I’m trying to embed a MailerLite form in the Newspaper theme, but it doesn’t display when pasted into a Newspaper block (HTML/custom block). Sometimes I also get a message about incorrectly embedded code.
This is on a dev subdomain: dev.kulinarnyblog.pl.
Do I need to install the MailerLite WordPress plugin, or is there a recommended way to embed forms (specific block, shortcode, hook)?
Hello,
I am needing to have a block/grid on my site with custom images/links, which are not hosted on the site directly therefore won’t be in any category.
How can I achieve this?
Thank you
Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with the mobile version of my homepage. Whenever I click “Load more” on any post block (for example, Block 7, but it happens with all blocks), the additional posts load without their featured images. The articles appear, but the images simply don’t load.
I’ve tried multiple solutions, but nothing has worked so far.
Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
It’s not that simple. If it were, all you’d need to do is take the code from there.
I hope this code does what you need and doesn’t break anything.
.td_woo_product_module .td-module-container .td-module-meta-info {
display: block;
text-align: center;
}
body .tdc-content-wrap div.td_woo_products_block .star-rating
Specificity: (0,3,2)
{
margin: 0px 10px;
}
div.td_woo_products_block div.td_woo_product_module .price {
text-align: right;
margin-right: 10px;
}
For shadow on css code:
body .tdc-content-wrap .td-module-container {
box-shadow: -1px 1px 3px 1px gray;
}
Just change the box-shadow
Hi,
You had already done this before in this topic:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/woo-product-box/
Also, what should I do about the box shadows?
Also, in the current state, the shadows look like the light is coming from the left and the shadow is formed on the right.
Is it possible to have the light come from the right so that the shadow appears on the left?
Since the site is right-to-left, I think having the light on the right and the shadow on the left would look better.
Thank you!
Hi,
Item 3: I’ll review this and let you know what I’m able to do as soon as I have an update.
Item 4: It’s not possible to display both options at the same time. The option shown will depend on the item’s status:
– If the item is out of stock, “Read More” will be displayed.
– If the item is available, the “Add to Cart” button will appear. (This behavior applies only to WooCommerce Blocks.)
Regarding the shadow effect, you can check how CSS shadows work by following this guide:
https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_shadows_box.asp
Thank you!
Hi,
Could you help me with item 3?(Align the stars and the price on the same line) I don’t know CSS.
And regarding item 4, how can your block have both an “Add to Cart” option and a “Read More” option?
Thank you!
