Hi,

We also used this plugin -> Ewww-image-optimizer to optimize the images, and they were also displayed on blocks.
Also, I will investigate some more settings and I will let you know the result.

Thank you!

Hello, thank you for the response

The featured image size is in full size, not in thumbnail which is about 1200×630 pixels. Also, the images look readable when they are in post blocks or in sliders, but when a single post is opened – the image looks very very bad and blurry (not readable format)

Is there someone from tag_div who gives real-time support or just replying to some random messages??

If that is not happening at least send me a link to the post template assuring, this template would give me better image quality.

Hello,

You can change the text like this, select the block, go into the tab layout and search after the button -> https://i.imgur.com/555t8tn.jpg

You need to edit the page using the tagDiv Composer, select the blocks and check in the left sidebar section -> https://i.imgur.com/yTImjfM.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Npf0yhR.jpg

Hi Calin,
sorry but this link don’t help me.
In all site, when Imagify or WP-Rocket find a src, href, srcset and content create a <picture> calling a webp image.
Well.
In the frontpage I am using “flex block 5”, “flex block 1″, etc…
I saw that in these modules, the imagess don’t serve in format webp due the image are served inside a class=”entry-thumb td-thumb-css tdi_34” and style”background-image: url(“path to .png/.jpg)”.

I can’t found to rewrite or change this url to .jpg.webp or .png.webp.
On the other hand, in the articles, works fine.
Is only inside the class and style.

I hope you can help me.
Best regards,
Sergio

In the flex block settings, I used to be able to filter posts by using the filter by tag field. In there I could use simple Expressions like + to be able to show posts that share 2 of the same tags. This has always worked up until recently- and I really need this fixed as it has broken many of my landing pages.

Hello,
Indeed our theme makes ajax-admin.php call when the page is loaded, on live search and when ajax pagination is used (this is use for the mega menu and the pagination from the blocks).
If you replace the mega menu with a normal menu, these requests should decrease (these are made by each visitor separately) another suggestion will be if you can to remove the live search and use a normal search form.
I hope this will help you!

Hello,

You can use a flex block, filter it, or set only the post’s ids, but this will be added on all posts which use that Single Post Template( you can duplicate the template, and you can delete the block or set another post), something like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/059qK5yVl3 I don’t know another solution.

Thank you!

Why should we have to pay for it when we originally had it working BUT YOUR UPGRADES MESSED IT UP! NOT COOL AND NOT FAIR. Please check out this link to confirm with what we are saying!

I’m sorry but I don’t understand what you want to tell me. As I have shown you in the screenshots above, below the title I added the single post subtitle. If I add as you say anamaria to add the links in the post content, then those links will not be shown just below the subtitle but at the beginning of the content. And what I want is that just as I added a subtitle to the posts, add just below a block where I can let me add texts with links as I already showed you in the screenshots of other media that have it like that. Thank you very much,

Hi, I tried for the first time to add a review for a blog post to see how it goes and looks both on-page and on google meta.

I’m not using tagDiv blocks, I do use Gutenberg editor. Here is the screenshot of how I added it.

Just a few days after it has been crawled by google again, I got an error in the search console about the “aggregateRating” which is missing in the schema.

It shouldn’t have been automatically added?
Here is the post link!

Hello!

Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again. It’s possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,
thanks for your reply! If I do as you suggest, I should put “Standard” as the default post format in writing settings and change the post format for each post, but as I already said I want to keep “Video” as the default post format because the client wants to publish only videos, so unfortunately this is not the ideal solution. The default post format should remain “Video” https://imgur.com/a/H5u8ecR

Now, with video as the default post format, when I create a new post, a video block automatically appears and each time the client will have to delete it manually, because the video URL will not be entered there but rather in the Featured Video field, as in the image https://imgur.com/a/tpDtH4D

P.S. I noticed that the video block appears automatically with each new video-post only when the tagDiv Composer is active.

Hello,

You can simply set the posts ids in the block, and the posts will be always on the top -> https://i.imgur.com/jAKpQ9S.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Hello,

Usually, that problem is related to the CORS policy that is blocking the access -> https://i.imgur.com/vxvPj7H.png . This problem can be solved using those guides:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co/
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25577981/font-from-origin-has-been-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing
https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/71630/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co
Also, if you have the Mobile theme plugin installed and active, then you use the Mobile theme version. In order to display the responsive version, you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Hello,
It looks that you set the main column to display none -> https://i.imgur.com/e1LocO5.png
There are a few ways that you can set it back.
1. Use a revision of the single post template -> https://i.imgur.com/Ce8HRCU.png -> https://i.imgur.com/ccRE8eD.png
2. Try to edit the single post template with tagDiv Composer and set display block for the main column.
I hope this will help you!

Hello,

These are just titles; you can modify them in tagDiv Composer by selecting the block and changing the title -> https://i.imgur.com/MQbb0Gx.png

I see that the flex block is sort on random posts and is filter after the category with id 44. Also, I see that are found 4 posts and 2 are displayed. in the source code everything seems to be fine -> https://i.imgur.com/VR2A0um.png
Maybe there is some object cache. If you can provide the wp-admin access via email will check this problem with the other one.
Thank you!

So we are having an issue.
When adding this filter to the functions.php its not working. Is there another functions file that is created in another nested directory for the newspaper template? We want to add this filter to limit the short product description for the woo product block.

Thank you!

add_filter( ‘woocommerce_short_description’, ‘prefix_filter_woocommerce_short_description’ );
/**
* Limit WooCommerce Short Description Field
*/
function prefix_filter_woocommerce_short_description( $post_post_excerpt ) {
// make filter magic happen here…
if(! is_product() ) { // add in conditionals
$text = $post_post_excerpt;
$words = 10; // change word length
$more = ‘ […]’; // add a more cta

$post_post_excerpt = wp_trim_words( $text, $words, $more );
}
return $post_post_excerpt;
};

Hi,
for the website I am working on, I want to insert videos into posts using only the “featured videos” feature.

The problem is this: if in writing settings I set “video” as default post format, when I create a new post, it automatically loads a Gutenberg video block which I have to delete manually each time because I don’t need it.

Is there any way to prevent the video block from loading when I create a new video post? Please know that I want to keep “video” as the default post format.

Thanks, Calin. I set this up on our staging site:

https://r65staging.wpengine.com/

and I have no plugins other than the TagDiv ones enabled, but it still skips those two articles. The two in the Topic Highlights area below the top grid are posts #1 and #2 by date, then there is code for our ads (disabled) and below the ad code are actually the 5th and 6th posts in that category, it continues to skip the 3rd and 4th articles even though the offset for the first Flex block is blank and for the second Flex block it’s 2.

We have our sort order set to Popular (last 7 days) and are not getting any posts to display. We have referenced the article to confirm our settings were correct. https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/problem-with-flex-block-1-ajax-view-counter/

Even though we have Standard Pack active, Show post views enabled (under Post Settings), and 7 days post sorting enabled (under block settings).

Here is a link to our site. https://dev.hrexecutive.com/

Please advise how we can resolve this issue.

Thank you.

Hello

Single post feature images should all be the same size on my site But they are all showing different sizes. I have normal single post image block. (not bg) so they should all be the same size.

Some are showing too high and some to short. Everything is being different. With current setting all should be the same

Why not showing all the same dimensions???

Hello,

You can design the flex block to have 3 columns, -> https://i.imgur.com/yE7SdX0.png so please check this guide for more informations https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Thank you!
