I changed the look of the Blockquote on the site, but how to turn off L’histoire thema styles in the administration of WordPress when I write a new post? Blockquote styles of this thema are very irritating and uncomfortable to use.
Hello,
Please try to add again the block Big grid flex on the page, and after the block should be displayed like this -> https://i.imgur.com/ftPruCo.png or you can use the flex block and set the layout modules per row to 1 -> https://i.imgur.com/pLRdzJI.png
Thank you!
The layout is a bit messed up as you can see in your screenshots(check the block on the homepage and also the texts). I’m having challenges creating a mobile version of my desktop layout. Any advice?
Hello!
Make sure that when you upload an image, you choose full size: https://www.screencast.com/t/Oxue274e
If the article image size is correct and also you didn’t solved the issue, then you can upload again the images in full size and set it again(with different name).
In the flex blocks you can choose which image size should use: https://www.screencast.com/t/r3Dzcmj94gVL
Maybe you can use a plugin to transform the images in Webp.
Thank you!
Hello,
A solution could be to use the unique article option, follow this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
This option automatically removes duplicate posts from the page.
Also, another solution is to set the offset posts on the blocks => https://www.screencast.com/t/Tsiu65TSaRS -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YbkmVbsBrnk
You can use the Flex Block 1 and you can filter it to display the posts only from a category -> https://i.imgur.com/Nnt3zGX.png and you can design it to look like a posts loops block.
The Posts Loops settings are divided into 5 tabs: General, Layout, Style, ADS and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend you to use Flex Block 1, and in this way, you have more options and is more flexible than blocks 1-25 -> https://i.imgur.com/1PUHK0V.png
To change the color for blocks 1-25 you need to have set a Custom title to apply the colors -> https://i.imgur.com/N7zeso4.png, but not for Flex Blocks.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure you have the tagDiv plugins activated, like tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack if you have the blocks from this plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check if this code is missing from your .htaccess: https://www.screencast.com/t/iN0R93dD3p from our requirements https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ this requirement is not displayed in System Status.
Usually, after you set the code in .htaccess the WP editor works well.
Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and try to open the WP Editor.
Please check the console if you have any errors when you try to open the wp editor, maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
Thank you!
Hello,
If you have installed a Pro prebuilt Website, you can hide the author name from the block with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/wEdPdPyp2ChA , edit the page and select the block you want to edit and in the tab called “Layout” you can hide the author => https://www.screencast.com/t/fjrVaQm5IX the same for comments.
You can remove the Single Post Author Box using Edit with tagDiv Composer with a right-click you can delete => https://i.imgur.com/BnhhxVh.png , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://i.imgur.com/vkQVCjn.jpg the same for comments.
Thank you!
I figured it out, I returned empty for the following function
function create_breadcrumbs_json_ld( $breadcrumbs_array )
wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common/tdb_breadcrumbs.php
=======================
Another issue, Big Grid Flex 5 block is adding nofollow tag for the internal site links which is wrong, and there is no option to remove this tag like in other blocks.

hi support,
I have one simple problem and cant figure out how to resolve it. I want to change title color and title hover color on specific block. I use block 5 and some green background on row with that block, and I need to use white color for title in block 5 (attach – block 5) : https://imgur.com/VqAgBps .
I think that in past I had this option on tab style, but I dont see it now.
Also I changed hover title color on other blocks but on block 15 doesnt work (attach – block 15): https://imgur.com/JuOE4i2

Can you help me with this?
best regards
Hello,
You can try to import a block/section from tagDiv cloud library -> https://i.imgur.com/cOrZ3j2.png or you can use single image and title elements.
Thank you!
Hello,
1. You can edit the single post template and edit the caption https://i.imgur.com/osgRw00.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/vE0kGJY.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/swFAb37.png -> https://i.imgur.com/96NS8Ak.png
2. You can use the custom code CSS for blockquotes and set the custom code in Theme Panel -> Custom Code -> Custom CSS.
Please check this topic with a similar question -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/is-it-possible-that-no-one-has-asked-a-question-about-changing-blockquote-style/ you can edit the style with the tagDiv composer, depending on what you want to achieve.
Thank you!
Hi @assyria77,
Please make sure you have the tagDiv plugins activated, like tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack if you have the blocks from this plugin.
Thank you!
Hi there,
I managed to add some picture blocks. See here: https://imgur.com/bpsk9La
However, they are box-like and I was wondering how I can do it like healthline has done it, with a circular picture with a transparent background, and the text is also clickable.
See picture: https://imgur.com/ER7gOBp

Hello,
If the images look blurry on homepage, what you can do is to use some flex block, you have some more control over the featured image using this element -> https://i.imgur.com/9eZ0pJe.png
Thank you!
Hi,
as in subject i need to edit the preview image’s size.
The size selected in the block 17 (in my home page) is a thumbnail (something like: file_path/file_name-324×235.jpg), the image is blurred right now.
How can i increase that size?
Thanks in advance
For Flex Block 1 on the Home template (newspaper_history theme):
1. How do I change the color behind the Pagination arrows (yellow is now)?
2. How do I set the title font size?
Hello!
If you want to edit a flex block, then there are some settings in the Layout tab -> Article Image and there you can change the size in order to adjust the way the featured images are looking.
Thank you!
Hello!
1. Please check the settings from the homepage and apply them for the other pages too.
2. You can copy paste the elements in the other page as well.
3. There is only 1 element displaying on 2 rows. So, you can limit the flex block at 4 posts and add other flex block with limit 4 and offset 4.(or copy paste it). For more information about the settings, please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
4. You use the Mobile Theme plugin, so you can not modify that because there are only some settings in the Theme panel -> Mobile theme.
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there or adjust them to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.
5. Please check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/social-sharing/
6. Use a responsive version and all you need to do is to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
