Hello, I had a few questions about the thumbs on modules/blocks in theme panel – block settings.
1 Is there any way to know which ones I am currently using? Because now I have all 21 activated, so When I upload an image 21 are made?
2 the biggest one is 1068×580 so a full sized background image is 1068×580? So when I go to row settings and choose stretch full width an image of 1068 will be enough? then why is there a 1200px, 1400px and 1600px option to stretch? shouldn’t a background picture be 1920px? I am using shortpixel plugin so I need to know the biggest size to setup the auto resize function.
3 I am using retina 2x (now called perfect image) is this better than the retina option in newspaper theme? In Newspaper theme I have to upload a 2 times bigger image everywhere?
4 I have a single image shortcode in my sidebar and I set it to contain but there is so much space between the top of the image and the top of the element box. How do I reduce this? If I click “inline” the image disappears.

Please first verify this element(Flex Block 1) with TagDiv Composer plugin and check if the article image size is correct or not, then set it correctly.
If the article image size is correct and also you didn’t solved the issue, then you can upload again the images in full size and set it again.

Hi, I am using the social counter block on my home page and my blogs. It displays perfectly fine on the homepage, but it doesn’t properly work well on my blogs. I tried disabling all the plugin one by one, but it seems it is not a plugin issue. Can you help me with this?

Hi, Since the most recent Newsmag and WordPress updates I have found that the Lightbox slider in the block editor is greyed out. The carousel seems to work by default on all posts but it is impossible to expand an image by clicking—a click just moves to the next image.
I am not sure whether this is a theme problem or whether it is something to do with the latest WordPress update. However, it is frustrating and I am receiving complaints from the readers of my blog (www.macfilos.com) about this function. Any guidance would be appreciated.

If you use the TagDiv Composer plugin and flex blocks, then you can edit that element and remove it easily and also you can find an option to hide the author and to show the categories.

If you don’t use them, then you will find these settings in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Block settings -> Meta info on modules/blocks.

I just updated my Newspaper theme to the most recent version. However, now that I did that, the tagDiv blocks along with my header no longer display correctly. You can see an example of what I mean here:

Hi, its weird i have a multisite on other sites it works fine (same template same design just different language)
Block 3 (see the image attached) shows another category (DESTACADOS, which means “feauture” and not policales) in the block while the right category is choose
I opened my website today and found a broken website, literally everything was gone!
I went into WordPress and all the theme’s plugins were uninstalled by themselves
All global settings from theme panel are gone (fonts, colors, had to choose templates again everywhere.. )
newsletter block is gone
my hyperlinks in my posts aren’t the same anymore (how do I make them bold and underlined and when hovered over change color?)
Everytime I think I’m making progress something happens.. if it isn’t this it’s mobile issues, it’s tagdiv issues, it’s always something and it’s eating up my time..

For my website http://www.nottooold.de I use the Newspaper Theme “Gadget Pro”.
But the filters for the top two teasers “Flex Block 2” do not work correctly.
On the left I would like to teaser a post, on the right the latest post from a sub-category “Top 15 Mixtapes”.
But both teasers cannot find the latest posts, even though they are displayed correctly in other teasers.
We have already uninstalled all plugins and tried all filter variants, from “featured” to a specific ID to “latest”.
What are we doing wrong?

You can add a podcast by following these steps:
1. Edit a page with tagDiv Composer, and access this => https://www.screencast.com/t/kCS6vPh2Skk .
2. Search right there about “podcast” and choose which podcast you want(ex: Block 85) and select “Import section” => https://www.screencast.com/t/BCgUzAke0C5, the block will be set at the bottom page content.
3. Edit a post and do these settings like here in Post => https://www.screencast.com/t/ALdOK9pkboH
Post Format => Audio,
Paste your audio link in the empty label called “Featured Audio”.
4. Now edit the Flex Block with tagDiv Composer and use the filter tab =>https://www.screencast.com/t/HkrYdZ9wXl to display the posts with featured audio.

This is regarding my post editor, When ever i edit my existing post it ask me to recovery my image ” this block contains unexpected or invalid content”. although when i preview it seems normal. And all the post edit in a mobile theme. It happens after updating to new theme.

@Amit What is the name of the themes main Javascript? The plugin wants concrete name for the exclusion. JQuery I already have excluded from Async.

The problem with the menu only appears in chrome…
Normally I’m using stop bad bots and my hoster has a protection for the website too, but if the plugin is on all testing tools are blocked, so I have deactivated it for trying to get the LCP down.
I have already tried to reduce the font size on mobile but that leads to a much more higher LCP because the featured image comes into the viewpoint. Than the LCP is really worse.
I have a premium managed wordpress hosting. 🙁 I have already asked them why the server has problems but they only told me that I have worse optimized site…

After that add 2 flex blocks on the sides.
The first flex block you set the filter as you want, on the next flex you will need to add an offset if you are using the same category: https://www.screencast.com/t/ItULfPcXA The offset will “skip” the first 3,4, posts, what number you insert, that many posts will not be shown.
