That block doesn’t function correctly it seems. Does it happen with all blocks?, try in a new page to test a different block.
If the same happens, the first thing to investigate would be plugins. As a quick test deactivate all the plugins in bulk except theme plugins. Then test again. if you already tried this, we could take a look as well. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and we will check it. Include a link to this topic in the email.

So i was using block21…and it seems that the image sizes were goofy somehow and that was what was jacking up the display. I switched to a bigger image and different block and it seems fine now.
In block 11 i need title black color and Article title hover gray. when i change accent hover color gray and my text title is Also changed

Just noticed something. When getting images done for posts, there are different thumbnails in template.
– Big grid – 537*360 (238*178)
– Block 13 – 681*0
– Block 11 – 180*135
– Block 14 – 341*220
– Categories – 300*194
– Search results – 300*160
Now let’s take biggest resolution 681px .. none of these thumbnails will have the same height when scaling 🙁 How can i prepaire then correct image? I don’t want to have it cropped or cut 🙁
I.e. Image for Big Grid 537*360 that is autmatically resized for other thumbs is not in scale for 238*178px width – you know what i mean? – here’s screenshot – https://prnt.sc/mj4jcl
What size of picture to make in photoshop so it will be same in all thumbnails? How I see these settings – none 🙁

When I add a section/block whatever from the tagDiv Cloud Library on a page everything that was on the page is deleted and only the section I added appears. Is it normal ?

Also, i would love to do this on my page but not sure how to do it. on this website https://www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/news/ there are images where you have a block and you have the image on one side and then you have the other half of the block in black and with the text on the left. Is this possible. it would be great for me to have a block where i could have the writing on the left handside of the image.

When I try to link the SocialCounter-Block on our website https://www.lfcfamilie.de to our twitter page @LFCFamilie, the follower count always stays at 0. When I click on the Twitter Button in the SocialCount-Block, it links correctly. Any idea why the follower count doesn’t change?

hi,
i think you can add the element “empty space” in that column if you want to keep it empty. A column is not an element or block by itself, rather a place where you can insert something in that row. So, in your case, the empty space element seems appropriate.

In block 1 I only want to show articles from certain categories. So I entered the right ID’s in the filter option: multiple categories filter. The block shows the articles but it also shows ALL the links to other categories.
I want it to only show the links to the filtered categories. See attachment. How to do this?

I want to update from Newspaper 7.8 to the latest version, and I have a few questions:
1. If I follow the updating instructions at the link below, will all my settings be lost (i.e. will I have to go in and reselect my header style, font settings, block settings, etc?)

So in Posts, do you have to select that option BEFORE you create or add the text block?
Isn’t there a way to set it as the default so it automatically is enabled each time you create a text block?

maybe after last update layout in home is changed.
now first block have different height… I see this added from js_composer.min.css :

min-height: 100vh;
}
This change also height of first block in home page and if I reduce the height, I am afraid that the composer will not work any longer …

I would like to use the WordPress Editor for my posts in Newspaper version 9.5. How do I activate it so it displays? Right now I can only see the Block Editor.

Hi,
Can’t say I know what that plugin does or what could the issue be. From what I can find online it is used for pulling content from other websites. The Newspaper theme should be used with self-published content, which is what the theme blocks, grids etc can display properly.
Maybe the problem is that the theme is simply not compatible with the plugin. Some plugins aren’t. We haven’t made any testing with the respective plugin up to this point.

I can not edit the Recent articles on the Home page – blocks at the bottom of the page on the default theme demo content, at the bottom, nor the block on the right.
Upper 3/4 of the home page i can edit

Calin, I don’t think you understood the question.
It seems to me that you can change the individual words in the theme when you edit a PAGE – see here at the top of my Home Page:

BUT, I don’t see a way you can do that when you want to change the individual words in the theme when you edit a BLOG POST. For POSTS, it only seems you can change the color of the whole Paragraph Block and not individual words of a Paragraph Block – see here:

So something like a shop page with products that are available for purchase from the website? The theme is compatible with the woocommerce plugin if that is what you want to do, here is a link to the plugin documentation

Or maybe these have to be simple images with links to posts? The composer has image elements that you can use, some of them have options to set a link. Above those image elements you can set titles.
Or if they are posts you can use flex blocks to display them, add ajax filters above them to allow users to filter the books by categories or tags. In this case you could heck some block examples, maybe you can find one that you like
