Hello designr,
The background color for the block can be changed from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/kKtYUllm
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
That cannot be done on pages, the category tags have a predefined style that they will use at all times. The hover color will change to the theme accent color or title background color set for the blocks.
Some of the block settings are not present in WP Bakery, only in the tagDiv composer. You could use CSS to color them differently if needed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/category-label-appearance-on-block-1/
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
From what I can see you are using a plugin or different implementation for the mobile menu. The mobile logo should be the one uploaded here in default circumstances
– https://www.screencast.com/t/cRs0YUBXsYJ2
It will look like in the live theme demo if you check on mobile.
So the logo would be between the menu button and search, but since you are not using this default functionality, it will not appear.
I could give you a code to show the desktop logo
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ioppFucbP
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS if you decide to use it
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td-logo-mobile-loaded {
display: block;
width: 50%;
}}
Thanks
That would be the normal mobile design. Elements on pages are created to be responsive, they will adapt for the device width. With the tagDiv composer you can now hide elements by device, rows, columns and most elements have the option. A related topic here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-moduleblock-12/
If you use the mobile theme, page builder content will not be displayed. You must then create 2 versions of a page, one for desktop how you wish and one for mobile using the sole capabilities of the mobile editor as mentioned in the guide.
Hi,
That block 4 seems to be empty, this can result from incorrect filtering and sorting configurations. You could check if that is the case.
The ajax filter will display by default all categories, unless you add category IDs in it. These categories must not be empty in order to appear. If there are no posts in them they will not appear in the ajax filter. Please check if that is the case as well.
Thanks
Hello,
Our theme uses a few different blockquote designs you can check out: https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-formats-for-tinymce/
There is already a design for left blockquotes under the formats section.
If you want to remove the margin on the default quotes, you can use this code:
.td-post-content blockquote{
margin: 33px 0% 38px;
}
Thanks.
Hello,
This is because your posts come without a featured image. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
The blocks require a featured image or video set for the posts. If your posts do not have one, then there will be no image to show in the blocks.
Thanks.
Hi,
The composer files could be blocked by your host as well. We have seen this issue countless times where certain theme files are being blocked by the host or by firewalls that break the theme functionality.
Thank you!
Hello ryderspyder,
This is the default style for our block template. You should use the Inspector browser if you need to create our own custom Code.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
There is no fix from the theme side or from WP side for this issue. This issue is in most cases provided by blocked theme files by your host or security module/plugin. Each case is different however. That is why we recommend contacting us via email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can login and see the exact errors you receive when saving settings.
Thank you!
I’m still developing the site on a local server. I have already seen the color options you linked…and its clear it would have to be a custom css solution since the color I want to change isnt among the options.
What I want to change is the background color of the block?
Hi,
That is happening because the block is stretched. The stretched module uses the same thumbnail that it normally does. So the results could be blurry be cause a small thumbnail will be stretched to bigger sizes.
You could use for example different blocks, ones that use a bigger thumbnail size. Or experiment with the flex block which allows you to choose the thumbnail size (predefined values). This demo homepage was built entirely with the flex block
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/
– https://tagdiv.com/go-beyond-flexibility-new-flex-block/
Thanks
You can add new modules and blocks, these are guides here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-theme-api/
This way you could add a new module and block, it will be unique. There is an example for download as well, in the form of a plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/practical-example-how-to-add-a-new-block-and-module/
I inspected the website, it seems that the thumbnail is as it is supposed to be
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VL3lcE07d
Each module has a predefined thumbnail size, it will only use that size. From what I can see you have stretched the column containing the block
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4B11S0HR4
This should be avoided, it may break the design of the block. There are fixed values for the design which will not function properly in those circumstances.
Block 16 looks like this by default
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-16/
If you want bigger thumbnails use a different block for example, try the new flex block as well
– https://tagdiv.com/go-beyond-flexibility-new-flex-block/
Thanks for your reply.
When I dissable the plugin. the pages that I made work. The only problem now is that my mobile homepage is a mess. I made costum blocks for the homepage for the desktop. But they don’t fit well with the mobile design.
I can’t find an option to just get the normal mobile design.
Hi, I use Blockheader 1 at Block 4, but I can´t see the categories on it. I know that text exist but it,s invisible.
(You could see that it is a link when use mouse over the place there the categories text would be shown)

Hi,
By playing around with the theme panel, I managed to change most of the blockquote suited to my preference. However, I can’t change it to left alignment (it’s center). https://gameworld.vn/10954/splyce-chinh-thuc-rut-khoi-csgo/
I’ve looked around the form and found this and put into CSS custom (below), however, it doesn’t change the blockquote to left align. Am I missing something?
.td-post-content blockquote p{
text-align:left;
}
Hi Simion,
Thanks for your detailed reply.
Unfortunately, it is an issue, mostly for the UX experience on the mobile version.
As you can see https://ibb.co/fDhgeH, in this top 10 the “top description” remains on top on the 2nd page of this top 10 list (number 9). Then, the previous/next buttons are below screen level and the content is also below. So, every time someone goes through those pages, he’ll have to scroll down, read, scroll down, read.. I bet the bouncing rate will be really high.
We need this first paragraph for excerpts (couldn’t find a way to specify an excerpt on all blocks without putting this text on top of this post) and SEO (although SEO could be handled by the meta description) but, in my opinion, it should disappear after the 1st page. Or there should be a way to specify the excerpt differently…
Hi guys,
In version 8.5, there was a VERY simple way to change the category title background color. See this img:
https://imgur.com/89jVoqe
However, in version 8.7, you will note that this option is now gone in Visual Composer (now called WP Bakery). See img for v8.7:
https://imgur.com/yPs4e11
When I use the web inspector to find out the css class, there is a massive clump of classes that affect many elements across the entire theme. See:
https://imgur.com/MPf58Vz
Obviously, all of these can’t apply to block 11 in this case. I’ve tried adding in extra classes, but it didn’t work. I’ve wasted far too much time trying to identify the specific class and then add extra classes to differentiate the different categories by color.
So my question is, how do I add back in this tag color feature in Visual Composer (WP Bakery)? I would prefer not to have to downgrade theme versions to do something this basic. If I knew which file from 8.5 to move to Newspaper 8.7, then this problem would be solved. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Kind regards
Using the tagdiv AMP out of the box causes menu logo to stretch to the size of the menu. Causing it to output like this:
It uses the same CSS style as all images on the page.
.i-amphtml-fill-content {
display: block;
height: 0;
max-height: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
min-height: 100%;
min-width: 100%;
width: 0;
margin: auto;
}
I have the same problem. Instagram is stuck and reloaded the theme and now its not showing at all. The entire Instagram block is now missing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi tagdiv,
The latest update ( April 27. 2018) gives me a lot of stress to clear out and restore the previous backup.

Hi,
I am using the Outline Button but having a problem with the colour on hover. The Background becomes the same colour as the text, making a solid block and the text ‘disappears’ whereas I would like the text to show white against the accent colour (only on hover), how can this be achieved? Example here: https://theatreweekly.com/cast-announced-for-mike-bartletts-not-talking-at-arcola-theatre/
Hi, even if now everything works fine on Chrome, there are still problems with Flex Block 1 on Internet Explorer 11. I can see the image of the modules, but now the title and the excerpt appear overlying the image (superimposed on the image). I mean that the image of the module appears behind the title and the excerpt like a background image. I tried to fix it unsuccesfully but I see that other people had the same problem. Can you help me? Thank you.
Ugo Clemente
