Hello torsten.dreier,
Please ensure that you have used the latest version of the theme (v.6.7) and try to update your Visual Composer to the latest version of this (v.4.11) I suppose this issue to come from your system status. Please try to increase your system status parameters to the high level, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also please try it without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset CDN files. If the problem is still there, you can try to switch to a wp default theme and check again to see if it’s a WP problem.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello newtag,
Please ensure that you have used the latest version of the theme (v.6.7) and also the latest version of Visual Composer (v.4.11) without any untested plugins. Clear all cache and test it again.
If you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect this problem.
Thank you for the message!
Often you can clear cache, but then simply “resave” your menus, resave sidebars, resave home page.
Hi,
OK I just disabled ALL plugins except visual composer, cleared my cache, and the same thing is still happening. I am not using a cdn.
Thanks
Hi,
Please try to deactivate all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This could be a plugin conflict.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you
Hello,
Thank you for your appreciation. Unfortunately your issues are not related to the theme settings.
Our theme does not control neither the permalinks nor the redirects. Permalinks are set form wordpress:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks and 301 redirects can be done either with plugins or from htaccess.
In any case I have checked your site but could not find the permalink structure you mentioned: http://screencast.com/t/PLkXEkHeJ4U
Every time I access one of your posts, there is no sub-category in the permalink.
We have no reports of permalinks issues with our theme so if this error comes up again, please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. Also reset your permalinks.
Thank you!
Hello rods,
Please ensure that you have correctly set it your timezone, clear all cache and test it again.
Thanks.
Hello rods,
Please ensure that you have correctly set it your timezone, clear all cache and test it again.
Thanks.
Hello Erve
Please ensure that you have right followed the steps to add the logo for your footer section. Also, if you use untested plugins, ensure that these does not affect this functionality. Disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
If you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect this problem is still there.
Thank you for the message!
Hello modernmavens,
I have checked your website again and the code that I provided you applies, as you can see in this video -> http://screencast.com/t/3STUkJhhLm Please try to clear all cache and test it again.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hi.
I see your featured images on internet explorer not displaying properly, but I also see an altered height of the post template. Please make a back-up of your customization, then remove it and also disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Revert the theme to it’s defaults then test again.
This is how that particular post template should display by default:

Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Buna
Multumesc.
Hi
Usually the theme should make the thumbs automatically, without manually regenerating being required. I am not sure why this happens on your side but you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test this again.
Also you can try to make a new local install on your computer, with the latest version of WordPress, the current version of the theme available on themeforest, V 2.3.5, Visual Composer plugin and and check if the problem is still there.
Thanks!
Hello Chucho,
Usually, these kinds of errors appear when you use untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Most likely, your untested plugins interfere with our theme and could create js errors. Please try my advice and see if your problem is still there. After this, try to install your untested plugins one by one and find the culprit and then try to replace it with another one with this functionality (this is the alternative).
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
I’m getting the following error when trying to use any functionality that relies on Ajax (like mega menus, live search box and prev-next buttons):
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token
They work absolutely fine on Firefox but seems like Chrome is a bit more picky.
Do you know where could it be coming from?
Here is a link to the test site:
http://www.ultimocero.com.gridhosted.co.uk/WORDPRESS/
And one of errors from the console:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <
m.parseJSON @ jquery.js:5
e.parseJSON @ jquery-migrate.min.js:2
td_ajax_search.process_ajax_response @ tagdiv_theme.js:198
tdLocalCache.exist.jQuery.ajax.success @ tagdiv_theme.js:200
j @ jquery.js:2
k.fireWith @ jquery.js:2
x @ jquery.js:5
b @ jquery.js:5
Many thanks in advance!
Hi Carmen,
Well it did work before. But maybe you added a few more plugins that broke it. Please disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check it again and identify the plugin that breaks it.
Thank you!
Hi
I’ve checked our site and noticed that the theme load the wrong image at the wrong sizes on modules: http://screencast.com/t/8PvhEJ3hbhG I am not sure why this happens but you can try to regenerate your thumbnails for this image following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/ clear the cache memory and test again.
Thanks!
Hi
This usually happens because of lazy load animation which’s script conflict with one of your installed plugins. Try to deactivate the animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/Ri3mqSr9 clear all caches and test again. Also you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and check if the problem is still there.
To be able to clear the cache memory first you need to install cache plugin. If you’re not using a cache plugin this step is no longer necessary, but in case you want to use one we recommend Wp Super Cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi
In most cases this issue is due the mobile theme module from Jetpack so make sure you deactivate that module if you’re using it. Also try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again.
Thanks!
Hi
The indicated post inherits the background image from its category, http://chadwickstudios.com.au/category/beauty/ For this category you have set a background image: http://screencast.com/t/TrWQRSkwYxO which no longer exist on your server as the link goes to a 404 page: http://screencast.com/t/lhroON4u
Make sure you remove the background image from theme panel > category > beauty, clear all caches and test again.
Thanks!
Hi,
I’m sorry but css will not fix this as the styling is altered. Please remove all the css code from the theme panel, and restore the theme to it’s default state including custom modifications you may have in place. The menu should display properly as seen here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Your problem originates from either customization or plugins so if the problem is still there after you revert to the theme default, then please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi there,
I have the same problem. While I was building the site I noticed that the pics were no longer view-able.
I could click on the blank space and the pic would then come up.
I have disabled the plugin as was suggested previously in this thread.
Where do i clear the cache?
OR, what could the problem be besides the cache?
The website add is http://www.newshorn.co.za
Regards
Deneys
Hi Catalin, thanks for helping out.
I did it all.. removed ALL other plugins. Changed theme, clear cache etc etc.. Same result finally. I got “double” the meny list twice as you can see in this image:

Any idea?
Hello,
Unable to get our Facebook social counter to move from 0 (currently over 3K likes).
We’ve disabled plugins, cleared cache, re-enabled plugins – still at 0.
Editing the social counter from VC (v4.11); the “Get Access Token” worked find and updated – still at 0.
Fresh install on a dev server.
Anything else we’re missing?
Thanks!
Hello,
1) and 2) I’m not sure if these are customization you made or a plugin conflict. There seems to be a line-height issue. If you have changed any line-heights in the font section, please restore them to the default state to see if any affect these elements. If you have not changed the line-height, then please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check your pagination and social icons again.
As for the social counter, this is not a live count. It will update a few times a day to keep server requests to a minimum. It was not created as a live count.
Thank you!
