Hi nasosrogas,

I cannot access your site – http://screencast.com/t/0mOvxD8rNY it seems to be in the maintenance mode.
Please also disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer to make sure that it is not a plugin conflict, also clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN. Let me know if you still have this issue and when I can access your site to take a look.

Thanks!

Hello,

Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear your cache and see if you still have this problem. Some plugin settings could cause this issue when the lazy load effect is in use. Try to disable image lazy load – http://screencast.com/t/YqtPZqb3Raf and see how it goes.

Thanks!

Hi

Sorry for the delay, we don’t work on weekends !
I’ve inspected your site and believe this is caused by theme’s lazy loading animation which’s script could be in conflict with one of your plugin’s js causing this: http://screencast.com/t/dhJYAgT1
First please try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test this again. If you still got this issue try to turn off the lazy load animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/YW1yiBDsk5Dm and test the site again.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist address us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can inspect this issue, also include a link to this topic.

Please let us know!

Thanks!

Yeah I manually minified the js composer css (it’s the biggest file according to gps), didnt shave off that many. Pagespeed still says compressing (gzipping) the file would reduce it with from 600kb, from 750 to roughly 150. Most gzip testers say my gzip is enabled, but somehow GPS keeps telling me I could roughly shave of 2MB (!!) by gzipping all the css. So not all files al being compressed with my htacces rules. Im running a website with an older version of Newspaper on the same server with nginx and GPS doesn’t mention anything about compressing. Have no idea how to fix this…

Also, why do you prefer apache on plesk over nginx handeling php? I’m on a VPS (6gn ram) and my hosting provider said using nginx would reduce my pageload way more than apache. When I have over 2000 real time apache starts to flood the ram :/ That’s why I switched to nginx handeling PHP and configure WP Super Cache with it. Doesn’t break a sweat!

Hey Chris, thanks for the quick reply, been a long time sincs we spoke. I know minifying isn’t the same as compressing. Google page speed says that compressing visual composer css version something something could save 750kb alone. I’ve run a webpagespeed test and it says that some files are gzipped, but a lot of then don’t.

I normally run wp super cache on plesk with nginx and have gzip compression enabled with some nginx rules, that works perfectly fine. But I’ve switched to apache and wp super cache with mod_rewrite rules and no matter what I try I just can’t get all the css and Javascript to get gzipped. Ive tried .htacces deflate rules and even tried a plugin to do the work for me.

I’m totally lost and think about switching back to nginx with my own additional config. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Glad that you solved the issue. We also recommended W3TC plugin before(in version 4), but we recommend now Wp Super Cache(use default settings) as we made some tests and it behaved better than W3TC.

Thanks!

Hi,

Please provide a link so I can inspect this, also try this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer active, clear the cache and check if you still have this issue.
Do you use the tagdiv gallery in a page(text block)? We have on our list this issue, it must be customized to be used in a page. It was designed for post content.

Thanks!

Hello Sam

I have checked your site but it seems to display fine to me. I don’t see any cutting off anywhere. The problem might be at your end. Try to clear your cache and the browser’s as well.

Hey,
Have now solved the problem. It was as thought a caching problem. Since I was anyway not satisfied with W3 Total Cache I try another. Thanks for the help!

Hi dabiathlet,

I have checked this using 4.6.3 version of the theme and Visual Composer 4.4.4, but I did not found any issues regarding “Text with title” block on my side – http://screencast.com/t/89NlCGsxX Also note that I use WordPress 4.3.
Please disable all your plugins, leave only Visual Composer active, clear cache and see if you still have this issue, maybe it is caused by a plugin.

Thanks!

Hi

Try to clear the all caches, also make sure you’re using ajax view counter if you’re using cache: http://screencast.com/t/m8JOOqcEUg

Let me know how it goes!

Hi,

I also checked this using the version 4 of the theme but I did not found any issues using post limit 5.
Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and create a test page add some blocks and leave the limit by default(5 articles).
Also what version of Visual Composer do you use?

Thanks!

Hi,

The theme does all the queries via wordpress, it doesn’t do any direct query. You could try to reduce the number of queries by using fewer blocks.
Another solution would be to use mysql query cache(if it is available on your server) – https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html

Thanks!

Hi,

I have checked your site and you have this error in the console – http://screencast.com/t/Ytz1LLR8Jll6
Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue.

Thanks!

I have all plugins disabled. I have reset my template changes. When I am logged in, the counter is working. ( That’s why it struck me so late )
Now I have no other ideas.
I believe it is up to the plugin “W3 Total Cache”..
But even if I Disable it does not work yet.

Hello Edellion,

You should first try do disable any plugins that might interfere with the blocks. Disable all of them except visual composer and make sure you clean your cache.
If the problem is still there, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify who you are and what your issue is.

Thank you.

Hi,

Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and purege your files if you use CDN, then check if you still have this issue. Also it could be a host issue, it may block the access to the admin-ajax.php file, please check the browser console for errors while the “save settings” process it running. If this is the case you have to contact the host administrator and inform him about this.

Thanks!

Hi

I’ve checked this on my side with the latest theme’s version (V 2.2), and works fine. Please make sure you set a correct value in post loop settings: http://screencast.com/t/I4iv52ihPLRg also clear the cache, deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and test again. If you still have this issue please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your sites login details and we will inspect this issue, also include a link to this topic.
