Hi

There is no ideal size for the feature images but in order to fit the thumb container it should have at least the sizes of thumb’s container, because WordPress doesn’t enlarges images. If you already use bigger images and still have issues with them, try to clear all caches purge cdn files also deactivate the plugins, leave just Visual Composer active, and make sure you regenerated the thumbs after theme’s update, then test again.
Let me know how it goes and if the problem persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your sites login details and we will inspect this issue, also include a link to this topic.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have checked your site and you have some errors in the console – http://screencast.com/t/HNR4L7tm
From what version did you updated? Version 4 of the theme? Please make sure that you update the theme properly using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ Always make a full backup of your site. Also update the plugins that come with the theme files form the /plugins folder.
If the issue persist please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN. After this disable CDN and all css/js minifications.

Thanks!

Hi

I’ve tested the theme’s comment system on Internet Explorer and works fine on my side, also I’ve test this on your site, and works fine, so it’s possible that you have some resources that affect the site functionality on that browser. Also I have checked your site and found some errors in browser’s console: http://screencast.com/t/ov4RzYxR so make sure you deactivate all other plugins, except VC, clear the caches and test again.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have checked your site and the view counter doesn’t increment even I refresh the page, but you have these javascript errors in the console – http://screencast.com/t/VcKHRUkY3RB so please try to fix them.
Please disable all your plugins, except of Visual Composer, clear cache and refresh your post for few times and see if the counter works.

Thanks!

Hi,

Please check this guide set leverage cache, optimize images – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
The speed booster move the js and css at the bottom of the page to Eliminate render-blocking, but not for all plugins. You need to modify the plugin(speed booster) if you want to work with other plugins.
Also try to not use many plugins, activate only the plugins that you need.
The Christopher’s topic also may help – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-pagespeed-2015/

Thanks!

Hi,

Please make sure you enable 7 days option from block settings – http://screencast.com/t/jrnpasieD also if you use cache please enable ajax view count – http://screencast.com/t/OfOys6fGQQGj
Note that when the “7 days” feature is used on blocks, it pulls from ALL the posts the most accessed in the last 7 days NOT the posts that are published in the last 7 days.
If you want to display the articles published in the last week you will need custom modifications, the theme has an option to display those articles but random, so you can try to change this filter – http://screencast.com/t/y7Blv2fm4uxw

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, it could be a caching issue, you can try to clear the cache immediately after you publish the new post.
What sort of delay are you have? minutes, hours?
Also you can check this only with Visual Composer active, disable all other plugins.
I also suggest you talk to your host provider, maybe it is from server settings?!

Thanks!

Hi,

When I publish new posts, it doesn’t show up immediately. There is usually some delay before the articles show on the website. Is it a cache problem or something else. Please guide.

Shafvan

Hi,

I have checked your site and you have an empty paragraph there – http://screencast.com/t/T2OC34RgIYoL and the theme css for Newsticker is not applying there, this is the css when this block is used on first row – http://screencast.com/t/mpDd8mr6cT
Also you can check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and clear cache.

Thanks!

Hi lwweb,

I also have the “The Events Calendar” plugin active on my side but I could not recreate your issue, the event appears on category page as it should.
Please check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and Events plugins, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. Also if you use child theme, switch to the main theme and verify this.
If the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look(provide more details, the page where you have this issue..), also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what your issue is.

Thanks!

Hello Henrik,

That is the space occupied by the comment widget: http://screencast.com/t/XeAoMWg5
I have checked your site and it seams to display fine now. You can run a few more tests to see if the problem appears again, you can also try clearing the cache, or disabling any plugins that might interfere with the comment section.
*You can also disable comments if you want https://forum.tagdiv.com/enabledisable-comments/ , or from the theme panel for all your posts: http://screencast.com/t/IqQyYPjsTOm
Let me know how it goes.

Thank you.

Hi,

Please check this also without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and purge you files if you use CDN. Then disable any js/css minification(it may cause some issues) and also the CDN.
Create a test page, add a block with this kind of sort order and see how it goes.
I have checked this again on my side and did not found any issues.

Thanks!

Hi,

1. You have to create the shop page and add the title like this – http://screencast.com/t/Ka7nhasy9Qf6 Then set your shop page from Woocommerce settings – http://screencast.com/t/xSlOqLXtmqpq
You can uncomment the breadcrumbs from the woocommerce template – http://screencast.com/t/PVp3i4U72
2. For contact page you can use pagebuilder with title template – http://screencast.com/t/IlidAcl2DQlj
3. Regarding the social counter issue, please note that is not live count, it may need some time to update the counter. Also you can try to clear cache if you use a cache plugin.

Thanks!

You need to use the code from this thread to add the elements to your htaccess file as that is how you specify the “time to live” (expiration headers) — so that browsers know to cache info not updated regularly (like CSS or fonts), and not ask for it every time page loads. See first page of this topic 🙂

Hi

Please make sure you clearer all caches, purge the cdn files, also deactivate all plugins and test again. Also try to save the permalinks: http://screencast.com/t/OxdrL6aat You can test this with a default WP theme.

Let me know how it goes and if you still have this issue send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-access and we will check this issue.

Hi,

Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. Maybe it is caused by a plugin. I could not recreate this.
This is how by default should look on modules – http://screencast.com/t/KOl9IjCzIX5
Please provide more details if this is not what you mean.

My Experience:

Figured out, that the best combination of speed plugins is…Speed Booster + Gator Cache + Autoptimize. Check it out, my site loads blazing fast now!

https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/gator-cache
https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/

Just my two cents 😀

Hi,

Please provide a link so I can check this issue, also if you use any custom css please remove it and see if you still have this issue. Also you can check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer and clear cache, maybe there is a plugin that cause this.
Can you provide more details about the demo. Importing it will change some panel settings and add some pages, posts, categories, menus to make an idea how these work. It will not be imported the full demo if this is what you mean.

Thanks!
