Hello!

The issue is from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Please check if you have WP Bakery and uninstall it.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hi,

I’m trying to add a paragraph of text at the bottom of every article.

The “prebuilt websites” section says “current demo installed: video news”. I’m not currently using a cloud template – that says “no template”. The “default site post template” is “style 11”.

For reference, prior to upgrading from theme version 9 to theme version 11, I was able to add the paragraph of text in the child theme using loop-single-11.php.

I am trying to edit the loop-single.php file now that I’ve got theme version 11. However, it doesn’t seem to take effect. I turned off the child theme, and edited the file directly in the parent theme and it doesn’t seem to take effect. (However, I can edit header.php and functions.php and see a change, so I assume it’s not something odd like server cache).

I appreciate your help.

Hello,

I’m sorry if I didn’t understand exactly what you want to get, but I understood that you want information about the mobile page, and in the link given above, I explained each version and how it works.

I’m glad you managed to solve it.
Also, if you use a plugin for cache, please enable the cache for mobile, if that was the problem.

Thank you!

Hello!

Please make sure you have the latest version of the PHP, WordPress, theme and plugins(11.3).
Delete and re-install the TagDiv Composer plugin.
Please check if this code is missing from your htaccess file: https://www.screencast.com/t/iN0R93dD3p from our requirements, make sure you have all the requirements as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– cPanel url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you

Hello,

@homesofcolor
,
Usually, this problem is due to the cache plugin you are using, because even if you have disabled it, it can run for a while in the backend, for example, object cache, because it creates a folder and delivers the same version for some time (it may differ from one plugin to another).
It is also advisable to check the server to see if you have installed a cache plugin there and to delete the cache (purge) also, delete the cache from the browser and check if this problem is still present.
Also, please let me know what settings you made and did not apply.
Again, if the issue was resolved after a while it is because the time when the cache delivered the old version has expired, and after it has been updated, it has cached the new version of the website.

@R7

Please check this article about how to update the theme https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Hello again. Just an updat: It might been a cache related problem. After purching cache from cloudflare and my hosting cache system, after a while it now works normally.

I thought the theme update (11.3) would have fixed this auto load issue as the theme changelog had this in it:

– fix: Infinite loading and internal links issue;

The autoload/infinite scroll posts error I still see is this:
/wp-json/td-cloud-library/ajax_autoload?uid=ed0efe54-3234-e3ea-8fb3-4e298d49e57f 403

And this basically stops autoloading of the next post from working about 12 hours after clearing caches.

I’m attempting to add a <div> inside the article <footer> element on my site. My goal is to have a paragraph with a link show up at the bottom of every article.

However, when I edit loop-single.php, the change doesn’t show up. In fact, any change I make to loop-single.php, or loop.php, or page.php, or index.php don’t show up. I even deleted loop-single.php and cleared all cache and no change happened. However, I can edit header.php and function.php and see the change.

Any idea what’s going on? How can I edit loop-single.php and see the changes?

I have had this theme installed for years. There was a massive overhaul so I reverted back and never upgraded. Recently, I created a staging server and decided to go through the process of fixing all the issues the upgrade created and I have been pretty happy…until today. Today, I did the upgrade to the latest version and now my homepage will not resolve properly. When I am logged in as admin I can see the correct homepage, but when I logout I only see the code like the site is not recognizing the tag div composer markup.

https://staging.industrialmachinerydigest.com/
All other pages work great, just not the homepage.

Things I have tried:
1. I have all cache turned off.
2. I have changed the homepage in settings > reading to multiple different pages and back.
3. I optimized the DB.
4. I changed the homepage template to another page template and back.
5. I am now making a post here.

Active plugins: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Libraries, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Standard Pack
