The webiste I did with your theme has gone from small trafic to become nº1 in tennis in europe… thanks to your work !!
But that means that for Roland Garros I could have to handle over 500k daily visitors (we are yet over 70k)
It’s not that big… I have other site running 2M (not wp tho)
As the site uses infinit scroll… caching even of 3s would help
I coud suggest a very simple change that could change the deal about caching (the site is behind varnish)
php side have all ajax $_POST changed to $_REQUEST
then I could fiddle to change all ajax POST to { method:’GET’, cache:false }
it adds a &_=134567 that can be removed from url in varnish and then hit a common cache
… no rush, just clues 🙂

Hello, guys.
When I open the site without being logged in, the posts that appear are not the most recent. Already when I’m logged in wordpress, appear the recent posts normally. Do you understand what I say?
In the themeforest comments, you said it could be a problem in the cache.
I don’t think it’s caching, because when I open the site in an anonymous area, recent posts still don’t show up. But what would I have to do to confirm this? Disable cache plugins?

Hi Vlad, I replied previously and am re-sending: I’ve tried what you advised and it did not work. I deactivated all plugins by tagDiv Composer, do not use a child theme or cache plugin but cleared browser cache and the Mobile Theme plugin still failed to activate. Having this site theme function correctly on mobile devices is very important, so please advise as soon as possible. Thanks, Dennis

Hello,
We’ve tested this plugin with our theme and for us there was no problem, also I made no I test and for me is working.
Maybe there was just a cache that was not clear, or maybe there are some conflicts between WP Super Cache plugin and other plugin.
If you want you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,
For now I’ve solved the issue using a rewrite regex redirect rule taking much of the load off
But coming to my mind something I was thinking about… do you think it’s possible to imagine that this json data could come from an get call (from api ?)
That would take it out of the source but there is event a better benefit that could be made of it: it could then be possible to cache the menu separately… making it possible to cache post pages much longer and still having an up to date megamenu with the latest news… just one cache updated updates the menu of the entire site.
just a thought…
thanks for your attention
all the best
Hello Calin, so it appears that the WP Super Cache plugin was causing the problem, were you aware of this conflict before? Is there any solution?

Hi TagDiv,
GoalPoint.pt here, using Newspaper theme since 2014.
We are stuck on an issue that we need your help with. By the look of it, via the forums, it’s a problem shared by other users but we could not find specific info on how to solve it other than your availability to investigate it further.
Issue:
1. We have 2 newspaper installs running, one is a private staging/testing website setup, the other the production setup serving the https://goalpoint.pt/ website-
2. Being such an “old” user we have a lot of content using Visual Composer. Nevertheless, we are now starting to build new pages using the TagDiv composer.
3. Our testing went ok in stating environment, building a new page using TagDiv Composer.
4. Nevertheless, while replicating the same content/page in production we get an error message when trying to insert images, being them newly uploaded or existing in the BO:
“Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
5. Useful information:
a) Staging and Production are running different versions of the Newspaper theme
Production: 9.8
Staging: 9.7.3
Note: we considered reverting back to 9.7.3 on production but this is not a solution (if one) since it would bring back another well known problem the 9.8 version fixed, the behavior of modal images
b) We’ve disabled the few plugins in production that don’t match the stating setup, with no positive effects on solving the issue so it doesn’t look as being related with the classical first suspect (another plugin)
c) We’ve disabled Cloudflare, cleaned caches, etc. No positive results either.
Can you please help us identify and fix this problem?
Do you have any immediate information you can share with us to achieve that?
We’ve also mailed contact@tagdiv.com, presenting this request for help.
Best regards and thanks for your help in advance,
Pedro Ferreira

Hello,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv Composer, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If you are using the Disqus plugin, please deactivate it from pages, let it only on posts.
Thank you!
Hello !
1. For WP-Super Cache you will find our tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
2. We do recommend using Cloudflare. You can setup an account here: https://www.cloudflare.com/
3. If the line is not there you can paste it as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/ybrd0AiMyd6y
4. The debug option has to be set in WordPress not in the Child Theme. Wp-Config File must be edited.
I hope this was helpfull !
Thank you !
