Also super important:
a) delete old themes you no longer use!
b) delete plugins not being used or planned to be used.
c) make sure you have full dbase backup, site backup, etc.
d) look in your plugin folder for any weird php files you didn’t put there or included with theme;
e) reset/refresh CDN, clear cache, resave permalinks, clear transients with wp-optimize.
======
consider doing CLEAN install of WordPress and *all* plugins!

Hi,
Please disable all your plugins except Visual Composer, clear all the caches and check again if the issue is still there. Also disable any css/js minifications and purge your files if you use CDN.
Let us know how it goes and if the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can take a closer look. Paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thanks!
Hello Friends,
On one of my site, I am getting some scripts like Pippio, LinkSynergy, ricdn, etc. when I test my site on Google Pagespeed, GTMatrix or Pingdom Tools. Have a look here: https://i.imgur.com/hozgLDk.jpg
With a quick google search, it appears that these are malware but then these are supposed to be on the computer, not on my WordPress site. Right? Then why is it showing there under test results?
When I manually check the presence of any such filename using View source on Google Chrome, I find nothing. I also cleaned my computer with Malwarebytes software, but nothing helps.
What are these? Are these on my computer or my website? What can I do now? Have you experienced something similar? Please help.
Thank you.
I have cleared the caching and I am not using CDN but it is still showing default font. See demo here https://goo.gl/CzxXcC
Hello,
1. We do not have any reports of any slow down with our theme. We have lots of installs using the current version of the theme and we have no such reports from our users until now, so I think it;s safe to say that it is something on your end that is causing the issue. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again.
Also make sure you increase your system status parameters like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know if you still have trouble with the admin panel
2. This is a wodpress issue that started from the latest update. WordPress will not allow you top delete any theme from the WP dashboard. You will have to use ftp. It’s a wordpress bug, not a theme bug.
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
I am very well aware of the settings tutorial is given here https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ and have tried the same with disabled “Rocket Loader” for many days, but nothing helped.
Also, Rocket Loader mainly effects.JS files but the issues are related to.CSS . I have written a support mail to CloudFlare too. Let’s see what they have to say on this.
If you want to check things on my website, please do so, you already have my login credentials in your Inbox.
Thank you.
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer clear cache and rest cdn files if you use it. You seem to have a plugin conflict going on that affects the menu. Please also check for any customization and switch to the main theme if you use a child theme to rule out any custom code from there.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please try to only use these settings as we suggest here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
to avoid any issue please disable the Rocked Loader
Follow the guide and set it up as the guide shows.
We will also look into it and check if there are any issues with cludflare and the mobile theme. We will reply our findings here.
Thank you!
Hello,
The minify options provided by plugins or most tools do not do the job properly and break the theme js causing the lazyload animation to break and not allowing the images to show up anymore.
Please use cludflare for any minify options https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Ad for the rest of the page speed notificationsL: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
For a cdn we only recommend wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello hadharm,
It seems to be a caching problem. If your caching plugin is too strange it may occur this. Try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results. First of all, please ensure that you have added your code to the correct section and also, make sure if the style has been successfully added to your panel.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello morpheusfp,
I have inspected your website and I saw that the color value working fine, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/nJWoIM7aa It seems to be a caching problem. Try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello r.schlutter,
In most cases, all of these issues come from untested plugins. I have inspected your source page, and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can influence the theme behavior and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. I noticed that you are using the mobile theme and the menu is not working. The theme is fully compatible with the mobile theme and until now we do not have any bad reports in this regard. If you are using the CDN system, you should purge all your files, clear all the caches and server caches and check the results.
If the problem is still there, you should try making a new fresh install from scratch, only with the required plugins and see how it will work.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Also remove any image optimization tools such as photon.
Most images appear fine. Only the ones that are too small do not position properly in the grids. You must make sure you upload images that are big enough to fit in the grids as the theme will not enlarge images. It only crops them.
Thank you!
Hi Catalin,
We have gone through all the plugins as advised, we found that the CDN was the issue, when the CDN was de-activated through W3 Total Cache the site issues went.
How can I reactivate CDN without causing problems ?
Thanks.
Hello,
If you want to update your site please follow this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Please make sure to also update your visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If the site still does not load properly, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files.
Then test again
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Also disable any image optimization tools you might have in place. It seems your thumbnail for those posts gets converted to a 1 x 0 pixels image. That is why you cannot see it.
After you disable all plugins and check any custom code please make sure thumbs are active on your site: http://screencast.com/t/jIv2BXrCM5hW and then use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/search/strange/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files if you use it. Plugin conflicts can sometimes prevent the normal functionality of wordpress and the theme.
Also if you use a child theme check your code or simply switch to the main theme to test the menu again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello Dannyn82,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

Hello,
Please access your theme panel and load the English translation and load your language again from here: http://screencast.com/t/828218qho0K
Make sure you clear all caching afterwards.
If you still have trouble with this please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
If you still have trouble with this, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can investigate.
Thank you!
Well it seems you have a pretty strong cache. We only recommend wp super cache and cloudfare for a cdn.
We found these results to work best:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
Hello,
This is usually a caching issue. Please only use the recommended theme cache plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and if you use a cdn server please only use these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please do not use photon as it is known to cause issues. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Thank you!
Hello,
I have tested this method again n the latest version of newspaper and the method still works as expected. http://screencast.com/t/YIrkN4SV
I’m not sure exactly why it’s npot working on your end byt you need to use font awesome, not sprites. The sprites have been removed from our theme from a few updates back. Only font awesome can provide the icon properly.
there are 2 copy/paste operations you need to make and 1 plugin install.
1. Copy this code:
<a class="td-social-sharing-buttons td-social-linkedin" href="http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=' . urlencode(esc_url(get_permalink())) . '&title=' . htmlspecialchars(urlencode(html_entity_decode($this->title, ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8')), ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8') . '&source=' . urlencode(get_bloginfo('name')) . '" onclick="window.open(this.href, \'mywin\',\'left=50,top=50,width=600,height=350,toolbar=0\'); return false;"><i class="fa fa-linkedin"></i></a>
Paste it here: http://screencast.com/t/iKzR3wrLjP
IMPORTANT NOTICE: there are 2 instances of the same code in that page. One is for the top sharing icons and one is for the bottom icons. If you want linked in on both you need to paste the code twice for each instance. If you only want the top or bottom, make sure you place the code in the corect spot.
2. Copy this code:
.td-social-linkedin{
margin-left:8px;
background-color:
#006699!important;;
}
Paste it in the theme panel-> custom css spot
3. Install this plugin: https://www.newnine.com/plugins/font-awesome-4-menus
4. Clear all caching, and reset cdn files if you use it as cache needs to be cleared for changes to appear imediatly. Otherwise you will have to wait for the cache to be cleared and that depends on how you set it.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This could be a simple plugin conflict.
Thank you!
Problem resolved: Reloaded Newspaper files, cleared cache, and purged CDN. I’m not sure why the byline went wild but glad it is fixed.
