Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.

Thank you for the confirmation regarding the child theme. Putting that aside for a second, I’m still unable to locate where to change this setting. To confirm, I’m using the Edit Plugins feature in WordPress. In prior versions, I went through tagDiv Composer and was able to find it. It doesn’t appear to be in the same location anymore (following your screen capture above (from 9/5/2019).
Hi I have also deactivated all plugins, turned caching off, and moved away from the child theme to the main theme and the problem still persist for me. I can download a footer template but as soon as I go away from it and come back in to work on it I get the model/dom error.

If you are not using a child theme, every time when you’ll make a theme update, the changes made in the theme core will be removed.
The files for the standard templates 1-13 are set in this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single the path for the default post style is this one wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/loop-single.php

So in order to benefit from Newspaper X you’ll need to replace all the elements/blocks/templates with cloud templates, in this way the theme will load only the stile from these templates also all the blocks need to be replace with flex blocks after you change all standard elements with cloud elements you can deactivate the standard pack, after that the theme should load less style and it should become faster.

Hello,
I’m using WP Review Pro by My Theme Shop on my website running Newspaper 10.3. One of the features of this plugin is that it will display an overlay of the ratings over the post thumbnails, but it’s not working. I spoke with the plugin’s support and they came back with this:
“The plugin is not capable of detecing which image is a thumbnail of a post to be able to insert stars automatically. There are many different codes and themes.
For that reason you need to edit your theme’s files, find the file/code where the theme displays thumbnails and insert the plugin’s code in that area.
Basically it would be this code that needs to be inserted into your theme:
<?php echo do_shortcode( ‘[wp-review-visitor-rating id=”‘ . get_the_ID() . ‘”]’ ); ?>
You can ask your theme developer on where to insert that code.”
So, that leads to 2 questions. 1- Where is the best place to input this code? 2- Would this be best done using a child theme?

Please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module which blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.

The child theme is a second option for the customers how want to make change in theme core, but this can be use only for standard templates not for cloud templates.

Hi,
I updated Newspaper today to the latest version. Unfortunately, I’m having a lot of problems with editing a page or Cloud Template with the composer. I can create a template but as soon as I go back to it I get error messages like: “Error at rows: 4(models) : 12(dom). The model does not match the content” or “Error at zones: 5(models) : 6(dom)”.
I’ve tried deactivating all non-tagDiv plugins, I’ve switched to the default theme instead of my child theme, I’ve cleared all cache and it still doesn’t work.
I’ve had many problems with the composer previously, and have often had to deactivate all WPML plugins before for it to work, but now I don’t know what else to do.
I meet all the requirements.
Do you have any idea how I can solve this?

It’s been about two months since I used the newspaper theme, and I found out that I was using the parent theme, not the child theme.
What could happen if I didn’t use Child theme?
And if I have any problems with my theme, tell me how to activate the children theme at the same time while maintaining the newspaper settings I’ve made.
And let me know if there’s a way to back up the theme settings.
And I’d like to update the newspaper theme, but I can’t figure out what to do.
I don’t know how. I just know I need to download from envato. Tell me in detail how to update.
