Since there is not an update on this, I decided to do my own.
SINCE THIS CANNOT BE DONE ON A CHILD-THEME, EVERY THEME UPDATE WILL REVERSE THIS
TagDiv, you can easily adapt this into a new update:

Since I don’t want to rerender all .less files but to get something displayed, you can use this css in your customcss up until tagdiv adapts this into their theme:

I am not using a child theme, and I tested all of my plugins. They were not the problem.
I resolved the issue on Firefox by removing the padding I had applied to the Hero image.
In Safari, the text in my Hero is still turning white. Can you help me to stop this from happening?

Once you activate that setting the theme will start counting the views posts get. For this to happen the post views have to be active – http://prntscr.com/nli2rx
Posts should begin to appear in the block after doing this.

Thank you for your answer.
The element that i need to change is the bubble with facebook like numbers. If you check chrome inspector you can see that this elements are loading inside an iframe so css cannot be added through the usual way from child theme or theme panel’s custom code.
So can you please help me how could i change some styling on this elemeents?

I made some test using the child theme ( without optimizations ), I install the Demo theme : Classic Blog and the option from theme panel for top bar is working correctly for me.

Indeed, in Newspaper v9.7 the only files that can be set in child theme are functions.php and style.css , but the most parts of customization can be made now using tagDiv Composer and elements from tagDiv Cloud Library, the changes make on modules/blocks can be achieve using flex blocks , in your case you can set a footer page made by you or form cloud with all the elements/widgets you need ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/

Hi,
I have a site running a copy of the latest Envato-compliant Newspaper theme that features custom fields, php and CSS. I want to duplicate and copy this to another server, but the developer who undertook the custom work for me is not available for a month.
Given that the limitations of the new theme when it comes to setting up a Child version, please can you advise as to what theme files etc I need to copy across. In case it’s important please note that the second server’s domain is different from that of the first.
I don’t want to use a plugin to undertake this process.

I have made changes to the footer and various part of site through child theme template customizations, how are these suppose to be added now without editing the core plugin files?
Example. I have a child theme and have

I have added an above footer widget area to this file, and now this is gone. How would I re-add this functionality?
