I use the Classic Editor which works with WordPress and has since its beginning. Code is code no matter how it rolls. The issue is determining where the blockquoteparameter is controlled for both front end and in the editor itself. The screenshots explain precisely what I mean. If you are saying that Newspaper will not work with Classic Editor, so be it, but tell me where the blockquote code is located for the Editor so I can manually work on it and create a child theme.
For example, if I use < blockquote >
here with out the code parameter, it gives the same problem. You see how it is light blue, centered, etc?

Hi Calin, thanks for your reply. I re-enabled the child theme and enabled the standard-pack plugin and the sidebar worked. Without this plugin, the sidebar doesn’t really appear.

Please disable the SUCURI plugin and check after that.
As far as I know, this plugin does not work with our theme and functionality issues may occur.

Please check if you have “Empty column” in the TagDiv Composer builder page and delete them. Also, check the element’s settings. Check all the pages where you have that gap and see if there is a setting for that.
If every setting is alright, then it could be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.

– I have made no changes to the theme files.
– I do not have a child theme
– Plugins (9 in total) are the ones that came with newspaper (4 tagdiv ones) + yoast + google console + quantcast choice + akismet + sucuri

Also, try to deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Please also check the page for special characters and remove them if they exist.

Oh, sorry, I just noticed one mistake at a time. Please don’t get me wrong, you are doing an excellent job and on the other hand I am very satisfied with my second license. It’s just very frustrating to sit in front of the computer for 3 days and either sometimes see the mobile version on the desktop (if I’m not logged in) or the desktop version on the mobile phone (but only on the home page)
Here I had changed the template from Black Pro to Magazine Pro and colored it accordingly. Everything looks fine on the computer (as long as I’m logged in, sometimes even without logging in).
So far I’ve done the following:
– Read your documentation – as far as I can see, I did it as described there (and I had set it up beforehand, everything worked)
– All plugins deactivated and gradually reactivated
– Child theme deactivated and activated
– Cache deleted via FTP
– Cache deleted via plug-in “Super Cache” and “Autooptimize”
+++ the “old headers and footers” now seem to be gone +++
As soon as I open a post, everything is ok with the header and footer. Only the start page, it loads a desktop page on the phone. I used “create mobile site” as you described it.
When I use “edit mobile” everything looks normal (as it should).
Instead of posting articles, I’ve been trying for days to somehow solve the problem. But despite the documentation, I don’t know what to do next. I sit in front of it for hours, trying and not finding the fault. 1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

This is a little complex situation because you need to modify the code from more than 1 file. Please note that any change you make in the theme files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again or you can use a child theme.

I’m glad you find the file.
I recommend you also build a child theme and add the functions there.
Please note that any change you make in the theme files after the update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after the update if you don’t want a child theme.
From these 2 options, you can choose which one suits you for your needs.
Without a child theme, don’t forget to add the code after every update.

Hi sandrakaviah, using the child theme it is the only solution to not loose the changes after a theme update. Also I made some checks and for me the sidebar seems to de display just fine in the child theme, just make sure that you set those files -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single for single post templates, or if you want to use the default post style get the files from here wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/loop-single.php and single.php

Hi Calin, if I change the single archive like you said, after update the theme or plugins, I will lost the changes, am I right? So, I´m not using anymore the child theme because if I use it my custom post types do not show the sidebar. So, what can I do to change single templates for my custom post types without losting it in every update? Can I back to child theme and add sidebar to single template?
