Hello,

Please make sure this code is set in .htaccess => https://www.screencast.com/t/YMLZf32uQ
Have you checked for admin-ajax error? Please verify the console when you try to import the template, usually, it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hello. I use main-menu from WordPress Menus in Menu Bar of Newspaper theme of tagDiv, but when the drop down menu of the Menu Bar for the parent categories that acquire sub-categories cannot be displayed, unless I am a logged-in user. The parent categories names are also not clickable under these circumstances. Categories that have no child categories are clickable. All these happen once you are a plain visitor (logged-off user) of the website: https://www.bet3.gr/
If you are logged-in, everything is being set as normal. Is it maybe a settings or a cache issue?

Hello!

First of all, please start looking for a plugin conflict, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
The second step is to try to optimize your website. If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/

Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Please give it a try and follow the steps which I presented above about page speed.
Also, check our guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Please make sure to use our newest tool from the latest update called tagDiv CSS Analyzer which comes in handy to resolve some of your issues. Take a look at the video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc

“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
We tested our tool on our demos, and we have such great results!
Take a look in this topic because it could help you: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/css-analyzer-step-by-step-and-doubts/

Hi jzee,
The file for the category page can be found o this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/includes/category_templates/td_category_template_1.php -> https://i.imgur.com/SnhmhNh.png also for posts style from category -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/includes/category_top_posts_styles/td_category_top_posts_style_1.php (you need to edit the file correspondent to the style that you use).
Also those files from the tagDiv composer from legacy/Newsmag/ can be set in child theme like those from theme files -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
I hope this will help you!

Thx, Calin. For this situation, if you can suggest how to hardcode it into the theme, I may have to do it. It’s FTC disclosure related, so I have to have it.

This will likely dovetail into a related question which I’ll plan to add into another ticket, which has to do with child themes.

(I always use a child theme plugin for my sites, but saw a recent article on your site about this maybe not being a great idea or suggested.)

We can plan to tackle that later. For now, perhaps a suggestion how to hardcode some text in for the blog/article main page.

Thanks!
jz

When I try to work with the constructor it keeps loading continuously when I add some element. This is a video: https://www.loom.com/share/f574dbe2c15e4e00ad7e4cfce2428d3c

I have deactivated all the plugins in case there was incompatibility, I have changed from the child theme to the main one, I have tried with different versions of PHP (7.2, 7.3, 7.4) from the server, I have tried the theme that I installed itself with different versions and it has not It worked, I have updated the wordpress to the latest version and it has not worked. I have all the plugins and the theme in the latest version, the updated wordpress. I have a dedicated server with good capacity.
