Thank you for the wonderful help and answers tagDiv.

How do I make the following block element without importing a template block: I want to put the post title, author, and meta information floating over the single post background featured image.

What I want to make…from scratch, is this: link

It’s actually called Black 123 on the demo but it’s called Block 124 from the Cloud Menu.

…do I need to import that block? I’d rather ask before I start experimenting.

Hi, thank you very much for your help,
I was able to import the entire section from the cloud as you suggested.
Comparing that with my version I figured out what happened.
I had accidentally deleted the row with raw css that was positioned just above the slider (and that is of course what makes the slider look like it should).

Problem solved! Five stars support!

Hello, I have a problem importing a template from Cloud template.
I can access the Templates but can’t import them. When I click on import a page appears on the background but I can’t access it.
Please help, I already lost time trying fixing it.
Many thanks for your support.

Hi,
I just checked the documentation and the steps are exact like there.
1. Go on a post and click on the cloud -> https://i.imgur.com/bHM28AO.png
2. Chose the single post template that you want to use and click on it-> https://i.imgur.com/7Ws0nWF.jpg
3. Click on create template -> https://i.imgur.com/w3Esfcc.png
4. After the template has been imported click on done -> https://i.imgur.com/u9uCZlQ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Zd9mEFL.png
In case that for you is not displayed like this, then it is possible to use a table or a small screen, in this case you can use the zoom out.
I hope this will help you!

Old templates and current cloud templates. Whichever you use, you will get an error.
I can’t even fix the article.

Hello!

1. Please check this video about how can create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg

2. For special posts, you can duplicate a template with the same design, or you can build it from scratch by importing a blank single post template and assign it only on your special posts. If you make it global, then it will display on all your posts.

3. If you choose default, then the template can not be edited with the TagDiv Composer. You can edit only the cloud templates imported from Cloud Templates.

On this page, the pictures after the line “How to use Single Template Builder?” don’t correspond to what is written. This page is very confusing. Where it says to click on Create Template, the picture that corresponds to those directions seems to be down the page. The rest of the pictures don’t correspond to the instructions written. Were the directions updated but not the pictures? Unless my English is bad, I’m having a hard time following the directions with the pictures.

Hello Declan!

In order to change them, you need to use cloud templates with blocks like flex blocks.

Thank you!

We are using the single cloud template to display the content of our posts. We would like to display 1 additional post at the end of each post when viewed, but need to be able to display only posts that are categorized as sponsored content.

Does your team have any recommendations on how to display a post based on a specific category?

Is this possible with your theme?

Would like to get a cost for the custom implementation to use Co-Author Plus with cloud template.

It’s just not working 🙁

I’m using a Cloud footer called Gourmet Pro, when I edit in Composer, it is showing me a preview of my follower count, but it shows a follower count that is lower by 1K, so maybe that means I’m connected, unless that is somehow an old cached number somewhere.

Then I go to the Newspaper Theme panel, and it also still says I’m connected as a Business Instagram. It also shows my follower count by 1K less than I actually have. No clue what’s going on here.

Hello,
It appears that we have not a lot of control over where we can add Ads in posts that are created in Gutenberg instead of tagdiv composer. Currently, with the cloud templates, it gives us a couple of options but none of them are the best spot. I wonder why we have two spots at the beginning of a post… Anyway, I would like to spread Ads across a blog post not at the beginning or end of a post. The inline option in the Theme panel sounds promising but this is only for the legacy template as I understand.
Could we please get a Gutenberg widget that allows us to quickly select an Ad spot from the Theme Panel section? Right now I always have to choose a Raw Html widget and place the Ads code in there which is not ideal. I just want to place a block and select which Ad spot it should be. That would help a lot.
Thank you.

Hello —

With all respect, I find your answer to not be helpful.
I understand that the iframe width works for you. I watched the video of you inserting the embed code directly as HTML. I already tried that — the problem is with that method too.

Previously it worked for me, and now it does not.

Disabling the plug-ins is not practical — it would shut down many pages of my site. But if that’s what I need to do to convince you that I have a problem here, then I’ll do it in the middle of the night some time.

But I sincerely doubt that one of these plug-ins is affecting the iframe width. The video width works on Pages — it does not work on Posts.

You have programmers there. Can’t someone look at this page and figure out what is wrong?

Please help.
Thank you.

—————————–

Here is a simple test page:
https://arcata1.com/?p=3044&preview=true

It consists of:

<p>Here the Youtube code is inserted directly as HTML.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>width = 315</p>
<p> </p>
<p><iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/612uI4Z7jsc?start=7065" width="315" height="177" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>

Here is a list of my Plug-ins. Many are back-end, and only affect the editing, or fixing thumbnnails, etc. The music players were added yesterday — the video width problem occurred before that.

Hello!

If you use a cloud template, then edit this page with the TagDiv Composer and check the element’s settings in the CSS tab if they have any margin or padding, delete it and see the changes.

Hello!

It’s a cloud template and you should add the Instagram ID in the Instagram element while you edit with the TagDiv Composer. Also, you need to connect your Instagram account in the theme panel.

Thank you!

Bettina

Hello!

1. The imported elements comes with their colors and fonts and they don’t affect other elements already there.

2. Please give more details.

3. Yes, the global colors and fonts can be seen in the Website Manager or if they are not set, then there is a setting in the theme panel. In the theme panel, if you access Theme colors -> General theme colors, then there is a setting called ” Theme accent color ” which changes the hyperlink text color and also various other elements which use that color: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/
Please note that the link color for cloud templates can be changed individually on each page from the TagDiv Composer.

4. Yes, you can set a global header and footer for your whole website, also from the Cloud Templates. If you set a global template, then when you modify something in that header, it will appear on every page that use that template. Make sure you do not add any elements in the header zone instead of the content zone.

Thank you!

Hi, I am still using the Cloud footer template called Gourmet. I edited it in Composer, but my Instagram is still not showing up 🙁 Is the Cloud footer template called Gourmet considered Standard, even though I picked it up from the Cloud? Thank you!

Calin
tagDiv Staff

Hi,

If you are using standard post style and not cloud templates, then you can use our guide for Co-Authors Plus plugin from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/adding-multiple-authors-articles/ also the Guest Author plugin can work to, but only with standard post template, with cloud templates will not work without custom implementation.

A similar plugin that used to work with the cloud is Molongui plugin, if you want you can try it.

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello,
The “Import/Export theme settings” will import only the settings that are made in the theme panel. The settings made with tagDiv Composer will not be imported.
If you made a page or a cloud template and you want to import it, then you can do it manually, by copying -> https://imgur.com/Wo4yp58 the code from the page/cloud template and past it on the new site in an empty page/cloud template.
An alternative is to copy the database, because all the theme settings, pages and cloud templates are stored there, unfortunately sit is not so simple like copying and pasting the content of a page/cloud template.
Thank you!
