Yesss, the speed issue is bad. It is slowing down the page speed by at least 1-2 sec. Fb has to speed it up somehow.
Maybe somebody has solved it? Maybe by getting in CloudFlare or something.

bit of a head scratcher this.
my mobile theme navigation/pagination is all over the shop, and not consistently.
examples:-
using the next arrow or page 2/3 from the bottom of the home page of the mobile menu, all open a random post. always the same post. but a post, not the next page of posts.
using the burger menu, it is all using categories. some are returning 404s, though i have double checked in the menu, and they are correctly configured.
some categories are working, but then the pagination is doing the same thing, i.e. going to post.
some categories are working and pagination is working.
because some are working and some are not, it leaves me a bit perplexed. hoping somebody out there may have some ideas.
i’ve turned the mobile theme off for time being.
wp 4.8.1, php 7.1, newspaper 8.0, hummingbird with cloudflare (all caches cleared)

Thanks Chris. Had most of those set already, but it just started working today. I disabled all plugins, reset htaccess and cleared/disabled CloudFlare. Then re-added custom htaccess and re-enabled plugins one-by-one. Everything seems fine now, thinking it was a combination of old DNS hanging around + caching conficts with WP Super Cache & CloudFlare. Whatever, it’s working fast now, thanks!
After updating to Newsmag 4 the menus on mobil devices (phones and tablets) do not show correctly.
Opening the website shows blank page above the fold, further down the complete list of the menu items then only further down shows the website content.
What might be the problem here?

I feel like a Dumb asking this but i can’t see where to Setup the Block 8 title color to be different from the others, since that one is supone to be White rather than Black or whatever obscura color i have configuren on the other blocks or site…

After Cloudflare setup my post stopped sharing photos to Facebook.
I use Yoest and its set up to share but still no chance.
Last 3 posts wont share pics (facebook cant pull info) but rest of the older posts are fine.
Twitter the same way.

I have tried everything you have suggest. I have disabled all plugins and no change to mobile. It crashes. Have left all plugin disabled and lowered the PHP version from 7.1 to 7.0 to 5.6 and still crashes mobile. Have made sure that cloudflare and all serve side cash is empty and dumped and mobile still crashed. Made sure all CCS/HTML.Java codes were removed from “Custom Code” section and still crashes. Installed a fresh new version of Version 4.0, still chrashed.
Activated Tagdiv composer and mobile works fine 100%. (No, have not changed any page format in Tagdiv Composer which could cause page to fail). Now I have a working Mobile and Desktop with Tagdiv Composer but this plugin will not work well with a good amount of Visual Composer addons which is what some of us bought and developed our pages around.
Unless you have other guidance or assistance, can you kindly send me an email link to the previous Version prior to 4.0 update. Think it was 3.3.1. This one worked fine last I checked.

That’s not my problem. I’m getting 89 points from Google Page Speed. But there seems to be a huge problem between the server and the theme. Pages are very hard to load after clearing cache. I am using a cloud server with 2 CPUs and 6 GB of RAM. But sometimes, even if you are the only one on the site, the site is bouncing. Server values are rising. Believe this is a very bad situation, sometimes instant 10 people are entering the site and the site is closing.

I am trying to speed up the delivery of my website. I have super cache installed and have applied the custom code to make it work with the mobile version of the theme. However when I enable cloud flare it starts sending cache’d mobile versions of the website to the desktop and vice-versa.
Can you please advise the configuration to get cloudflare working with the mobile version.

You are using Litespeed server so the .htaccess part will not work.
1. The ideal way to enable compression in Litespeed is to do it through the configuration under “tuning”. Just go down to “enable compression” and check to see if it is on, if not click “edit” then choose to turn it on. While you are there, look over the several Gzip options that are nearby.
2. Use good image optimization plugin or use photoshop.
3. CloudFlare will help you to minfy CSS, JS and HTML

This is the third time i Start over again on a new page, and after Setting up all the blocks, when i Save the page it shows this error after and no content.
It makes no sense for me, also it gives an error if i try to apply the unique article options, even if i not using any AJAX pagination.
In the previos version, i had ajas + unique articles on and it works flawlessly

I am having a problem with my site when it comes to the mobile version. It was functioning properly in PHP 5.6 but when I upgraded to PHP 7.0 my mobile theme breaks while my desktop version runs very smooth. I have diabled all plugins and eliminated Cloudflare cache from the mix but still have mobile side of the site either pull up white screen, pull up half page and freeze to the point i cant reload. I have tried to use the developr tools in chrome to isolate the error but it freeze at time bedfore error is displayed. Might you be able to assist me as to where I can start or better yet, if possible, isolate the problem so I can fix it.

I deactivated the child theme. I deactivated all the plugins besides tagdiv plugins and Visual Composer. I cleared the browser cache and Cloudflare cache. I still get the error.
I have other work to do, so I cannot wait until you decide if you’re going to inspect the site or not and I will reactivate some of the inactive plugins. Now, please let me know if you need the WordPress credentials to take a look at it or kindly offer a refund so I can look somewhere else.

Since then I went ahead and moved the theme from my subdomain to my main domain and all those problems went away. No idea why it was wacky at the subdomain. Even after deactivating wordfence and cloudflare and clearing the cache everywhere.

The only active plugins are:
- Contact Form 7
- Tag Div Social Counter
- Tag Div Speed Booster
- WPBakery Visual Composer
WP Rocket is deactivated, browser cache cleared, Cloudflare cache cleared, DNS dlushed, post opened in incognito window.
Kindly let me know if you can offer support. I can’t screw around, if you don’t I’ll gladly buy another theme and try to forget this happened.

BTW, just now disabled all other plugins again and deactivated wordfence AND cloudflare for good measure. Still the same problem.
I put my cloudflare to Pause to test if cloudflare is blocking request but still no luck. š

Also i am using PDF viewer and everything works fine untill i need to backup my website for 2 days back because i make a mess in configs(we always learn :D).

Its possible to create a simple function to add specific image to posts and pages using the āfeatured imageā option like we already have for video? I am using soundcloud embed code to add audio in my posts.
I really hope newspaper implement this option in future updates.
