New user here… and I can’t figure out how to 1) access the block settings or 2) use the tagDiv Composer. I’m using the Newspaper 8 with the sample posts/images. When I’m on the ‘home page’ and I click “edit with TD composer’ in the top nav bar, I get taken to a page where I can add an element… but there’s not content on the right side of the page (on Newspaper 8’s training video… the video shows content on the right side of the page that can be edit… my screen is blank). When I go to an existing page in the demo, and click on ‘Edit with TagDiv Composer’, i get the same thing: ability to add an elemnent (showing on the left side of the screen… and a totally blank page on the right 2/3 of the page… in other words, nothing to click on to edit the block content titles.) I’ve read the tagDiv Composer tutorial and Block settings guide… but can’t figure it out. Can you help me understand (e.g. step-by-step how to edit content block titles… and, when I’m in TagDiv composer, how can I see the content to edit as shown in the TagDiv composer training video). Thank you.

Hello friends, from yesterday to today TagDiv Composer stopped working suddenly for no reason.

When you try to edit any page or even a new page, it tries to load, however it enters infinite loading, without opening the visual composer editor blocks.

In the inspect Chrome browser console function, the following error appears:

Remember that I tried everything, accessed through several browsers, disabled all the plugins and even tried to go back to the previous version of Newspaper, but nothing worked.

The only thing different that I remember doing yesterday, before the problem, was to test the new function to save sections (shortcodes, rows) the templates, to use them on other pages. However, I do not know if this may have influenced the error.

I tried to change the home page, but when I click edit with TD composer, I just get a infinite loading rotating. I can’t continue editing. What can I do to fix this?

I tried to reinstall the td composer and js composer (bakery) plugins, but nothing works. I reset the cache from google chrome and wp cache, but nothing happened, the error continue.

Hi, I recently tried to change the home page, but when I click edit with TD composer, I just get a loader rotating and nothing happens. The page is blank. What can I do to fix this? It happened with the previous version and I just updated it and same thing.

Hi guys – got an issue with trying to use the Image Box element in the TD Composer. We are trying to add a new Image Box element onto a brand new row on our homepage, however once we add the image box element there is no options to actually add or edit anything on the element. The licence came with the Newspaper theme, in fact it was bought with the newspaper theme.
So, no idea what is happening here; please let me know.

Hello,
I’m not going to be able to use all the technical jargon to explain this but my colleagues and I think we have enough information to assume there are some bugs or stability issues with this composer.
I have lost work three times now due to the composer throwing up errors and messing up the entire page however looking like it is all working fine in the composer itself. I have been checking now every single action in preview mode to catch the issues and I can list them here:

1. cant use the title text block without title or it breaks the page entirely throwing up errors on many rows unrelated.
2. sometimes can and sometimes cant use the column text block as per the above
3. Trying to build simple boxes on pages that are not the full width of the page and not including the title one must isolate the two. This sometimes works sometimes not.
4. Cant adjust main header title to be on the left or right just middle.
5. Using padding on the above to place at left or right is not responsive so ends up sizing down badly in the page.
6. Moving the blocks up and down the page sometimes works and sometimes you cannot change position till we close out the page entirely and pull it up anew. Sometimes this still does not work.
7. The composer bluntly just stops loading the save and infinitely loads. Requiring a reboot of the page as above losing work.
8. WP editor infinitely loading and not coming up.

I’m a novice but I am pedantic. It takes so much work to keep checking every step of the way that the page has not been broken as nothing shows on the front end. The phrase shortcodes not closing completely has been used.

My question to you is this, surely there is a way to build a custom page on here using padding for boxes without headers. Also it seems there is a hidden rule of thumb on when you can and cant use the column text editors in line with the header etc.

I would love to have this demystified as the general tutorials all deal with simple drag and drop of category blocks but we need more customization on some pages than that.
