Hello yachtsailingcharter,
Please notice that the TD Composer is our new concept regarding on page builder and we recommend to use it because this plugin is fully integrated and optimized in the theme core files. Notice that you can use the Visual Composer if you want but all the new features which we will launch will be exclusively for TD Composer. At the moment, the TD Composer does not have all the features which Visual Composer has because this concept is in continuous development but in the future, we will hope and consider to add many features to it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello easherri,
I have inspected your website and I did not saw any problem with it. Also, I noticed that you are not using the latest theme version -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3NkKTGHA. Did you downgrade the theme to this version? If you want to achieve best theme results, you should update the theme to the latest theme version (v8) via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. For more information about the transition between these two-page builders, please check the following tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Thanks for this update, but I am a person of fixed customs and prefer to use the classic version of Vosual composer (it is simpler for me).
Do I see and use the classic VC version on my homepage?
Thank you
Hi,
Please try and do a fresh theme reinstall using this method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Then from your plugins activate only the Visual composer editor, and check to see if the website is displaying properly. Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Hi,
Please note that additional features and elements for the tagDiv composer will be added in future theme updates. They will be available exclusively for the new front-end page editor only.
Thanks
I am getting tagdiv composer option only on pages not on posts..
What should i need to change to get the tagdiv for posts too?
I have disabled the visual composer, but it is now causing the posts to appear wider and getting overlapped with the sidebar.
Hello all,
@Ankush Das, please notice that our TD Composer has been designed to be used only with our theme and you should only use the required plugins which come bundled with the theme core files, without any other untested plugins and check the results. You should make a fresh install on a sub-domain via FTP method.
@Dominikks, this type of error seems to appears when you try to edit your pages with TD Composer, pages which were created with Visual Composer. You should not do this. For more information about transitions between these plugins, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
1. For the image problem, please try to deactivate the tagDiv composer if it is active and see if it displays properly. If not disable all your other plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and check again.
2. You can have any element you wanton top of your pages created in a page editor. If you mean to have an image on top of all pages, like category pages and post pages, it would take modification to the theme files. Please correct me if I misunderstand.
I cannot see your website unfortunately because of the security plugin, I don’t have access.
Thanks
Hello,
What Chris is trying to say is that you will have to delete the old theme and install the new version as if you would switch to a different theme because this is very close to changing themes. you are very very far behind with your theme version. You will have to recreate your pages and sidebars anyway as we have moved over to a new page builder in the current version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
You will see it is very easy to create your page from scratch so you will not need the old layout anymore, so no need to convert the shortcodes using the script. You can simply create new elements in a heartbeat.
Thank you!
Hi,
It may not be easy yes. We have not made any tests in this matter. Like I mentioned you can try to adapt the previous solution for Visual composer if you want to achieve something like that, I have no quick solution to give you.

Hello,
The new theme plugins install automatically when the theme is activated. It is an intentional feature, not a malfunction.
The general plan is to have people use our own page builder instead of visual composer as we will no longer develop anything for visual composer. We have our own much lighter page builder now and all of the new features we add in future version of the theme will be available exclusively for the tagDiv composer. Visual composer will not receive anymore features.
Thank you!
Hi,
This usually happens as Chris says wen editing a page created with visual composer with the new page builder. It is not recommended using both builders on the same page. Only use one or the other. If a page was created with one or the other, it has to be re-created with the second page builder in order to use it properly. The content is not compatible with both at the same time. Please use this guide to transition from visual composer to the new page builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Thank you!

DO You have found the way to remove them?
Thanks
Hello peppejari,
Please make sure that you do not have any errors through your console and also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all the caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. Please keep in mind that your untested plugins might interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown problems and that’s could be the reason in your case. Try my advice, clear all the caches and check the results. The TD Composer should work as expected.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
I do not want to use the composer.
And i need to use the default woocommerce store.
Can i use woosidebars or a standard page sidebar?
Sorry but it’s urgent.
Now we are building sites in tagdivcomposer, but some features that we used before aren’t here anymore. Like search box, rss, more page layouts, accordion, raw javascript? Will this be added to the tagcomposer or not? Yes we inserted text with title, but when we opened – edit content – as you can see from the photo from my last post, you can’t do anything, so you still have to switch back to visualcompsoer to add content. This is what i’m trying to say, that you still have to use some features of visual composer, like text block, because it isn’t functioning yet in tagdivcomposer. By months i meant that we came to the desire look of page – me moved, wrote, added, new content over the time, the page was built with visual composer quite fast, i meant the whole process of building the webpage. We got used to visualcomposer, and now, all over again. Its problem, because some functions aren’t available in tagdiv anymore, that’s the whole problem. So i’m asking once more, will this missing features be in tagdiv composer or not? Otherwise its ok the new builder, just some little extra features. 🙂
Thank you.

Hi,
Please make sure that the plugins are activated in the plugins section. They should appear in the page edit screen. You could try as a test to disable all your other plugins except the composers, clear any caching installed and check again. If nothing works you could try a fresh theme install using this method
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
And test while no other plugins are active as well. Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks
Hello, Andrea,
You can create your own store page in the tagdiv composer and create the sidebar using a split row. Please check this guide on how to use the new builder: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello,
If you use a single image element of visual composer, did you by any change edit your page with the tagdiv composer afterwards? This is not recommnended as the shortcodes get changed. Please only use one builder not both on the same page. If a page has been created with visual composer, then you will have to re-create it in the new builder if you want to use it.
If this is not the issue, try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello svharishtech,
If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all the caches and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, you should not edit the page which has made with VC with our TD Composer.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide there the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Scottseol,
It seems to be a strange issue on your side. I have tested on my side and the problem does not appear. I saw that you are using some untested plugins, like Jetpack modules which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!

Hello,
It does not work because that was never the intended way of using visual composer. The intended way was using it like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
https://www.screencast.com/t/Mah9XMqJj
The new composer does not add any extra columns as they are not fully compatible with our grid system. They ‘worked’ in visual composer but were never fully compatible. The layout was always broken on other columns than the ones mentioned above.
Thank you!
same here, my sidebar is totally not working in VC, so I have to give up VC and turn to TD composer, which turns out to be ok. if we can use search box and some other widgets in TD composer it would be perfect.
Hi again,
Thank you for the reply!
You mean I can disable the JS composer and use the TD composer instead? If I do this, will I still have the same features and codes as the js composer?
Thank you!
