Hi!
I am trying to create a new home page and there is no “Classic”, “Backend” or “Frontend” buttons there at all. It simply shows the original WordPress options as if there is no visual composer. I changed the settings in VC, but that didn’t help. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks
Your forum did not help! Continue with the same error, and my page gives this error and does not open anything, text editing, visual composer nothing !. I bought expensive and price to help me!

Howdy tagDiv friends,
I have a minor but visually distractive problem on my site: http://www.goproace.com
It seems to only happen on frontpage and not category pages or posts.
What happens is the block or module looks to be out of place. As if too much margin or padding.
I’ve tried to adjust the settings on visual composer, perhaps I’m missing the issue.
Here is screenshot of what I’m seeing now : http://www.goproace.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/3.png
Notice in Block 2, Block 5, and Block 6 that this issue persists.
Please advise as any help would be great!
Thanks again,
Ace

Hi there!
I am looking for the Log in/Join element in your demo but I could find it only in the top bar (as a simple writing); where can I find the layout for the Log in/Join element? May I add on my page with Visual composer?
Thanks in advance for your kind help.

Hello mayaguez,
1)Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option for Big Grids to add titles, sorry! If you want to this, you should use the following trick with Visual Composer and also, a bit of CSS code.
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/OstFywn3Z and then you should use the following code and place it in Theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/18eboByFIv
Thanks for your understanding
Hi,
Please provide a link to your website pointing to the problem so we can inspect it. An image inserted in the post content should display where you position it inside the post structure – https://www.screencast.com/t/Kwg9djNH – https://www.screencast.com/t/BwpPad6nU Maybe a plugin could affect this, you could try to deactivate all your plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check again.
Thanks
Hello,
1) I’m not sure how your title is not centered. Here is how it displays on our end: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-lenovo-details-new-computers-that-could-be-heading-our-way-in-2015/
If you want to decrease the size of the container it can only be done with css. Here is an example:
.td-post-template-7 .td-post-header{
height: 415px!important;
}
Add the code in the theme panel-> custom css box.
2) The content width cannot be changed as all the theme elements depend on this fixed width. There is no solution I can provide in this regard
3) The only way of adding anything automatically for all posts at once is by altering the theme files and adding the widget shortcode with a ‘do_shortcode’ function on each post style you use: https://www.screencast.com/t/iyCusKK9yi
as an example: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-order-ads-on-post-template/
4) The same method as 3. There is no other way of adding content for all posts at once.
5) https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
6) Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
7) Please provide a swcreenshot of how you set the ajax filter in the back-end and make sure the spoecific category has posts to show.
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately you can not set one of your category pages as homepage. You can create a page with the Visual composer elements that you want – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and use that as homepage – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ and then also control the content displayed in the grids and blocks using these settings – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi,
Please check and increase the parameters mentioned in this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ as this could be causing the problem. Also try this while having only Visual composer active, to rule out maybe a plugin interference or conflict.
Thanks
Hi,
The TagDiv site is custom made, but you could achieve something similar using the Visual composer elements. Try adding an empty row on your page – https://www.screencast.com/t/RxQ2ZVHsEx then set a video background – https://www.screencast.com/t/wXSxctvLSMh In that row you can add a text block for example – https://www.screencast.com/t/nVkWU3Zf and buttons if you like – https://www.screencast.com/t/yP8zNJUF and even an image element – https://www.screencast.com/t/qJEMLIxz6o9 then further customize them in each of their settings. The result is like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/01H1DkDpkGl9
Thanks
Circling Back here I’ve had my host update all the nessecary settings you described I checked everything, cleared my cache at the browser, host, and cloudflare level but nothing from visual composer saves at all
Hi, I just bought the theme. I’m happy with it, but I tought it was a little bit more flexible.
Right now I have some issues with the theme that I don’t know how to solve:
1. On posts header, the one I like the most is the number seven. The problem is the height is too high, the title is not centered and I would prefer it to be in the middle and not in the inferior part of the image.
2. The content of the posts is too wide witouth sidebar. I’m not going to use sidebar, so I would like the content to be more narrow, with a higher margin.
3. I would like to add a suscription form at the end of all the posts. The position should be just at the end, before the share buttons. Is there any way to do it automatically witout adding it manually in each post? Something like a widget a the end of the posts. I’m missing after posts widgets on this theme.
4. I would like to add something like a full width banner on the top of each post with a suscription form before the post image/title. Is there any way to do that?
5. I don’t see visual composer on posts, only on pages.
6. Images are not adapted to blocks or thumbnails and there is an ugly gray background. Do I always have to use specific featured image sizes depending on where they are going to be shown?
You can check it here on the top of the page: https://desdelaraiz.com/webnova/
7. Using the ajax filter, when I use offset then the filters don’t work well. With many categorys they are not showing any article. I would like to use offset to avoid repeating posts on the same page, but some posts, even they were not shown before, they are not showing when you switch to a specific category. I don’t understand why.
That’s all for today. Maybe I’m asking to much to this theme, just let me know.
Thank you so much.
Under:
Appearance > Widgets
1. When creating a new sidebar, I can add widgets to it, edit and assign menus (when adding a custom menu widget). HOWEVER, as soon as I go to another area of the backend and come back, I can no longer see the widgets I have added to any of the sidebars. Nor can I delete/edit (as I can’t see them). Yet I know they are still there as if I assign the sidebar they appear when viewing live.
2. A secondary issue, probably unrelated, is that I cannot associate any custom sidebar menus to Pages if I am using the Visual Composer, only [tagDiv] widgets appear if assigned to a sidebar and then introduced with the Widgetised Sidebar.
Many thanks for your help.
Hello timski82,
First of all, please disable all of the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to be active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files, install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install only the required plugins and check the results. Consult this guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hello FilipeMelo,
First of all, I will thank you for your appreciations and thank you for reaching us! Please ensure that your Visual Composer has been installed via FTP according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ Also, check your system status to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello sanny,
Unfortunately, this is the structure of the default shortcodes which the Visual Composer will create for our Slider. You can use this shortcode and insert everywhere you want to our website, using the do_shortcode method, according to our documentation here -> https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/ If you want to change the structure of this shortcode, please notice that our theme does not have any such an option for that, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Please note that the theme will provide a new version of the Revolution slider plugin along with the theme updates, and after it has been tested for compatibility accordingly, taking in account every aspect of the update. This is related to the Visual composer plugin also. The version that is included in the package is fully compatible with the theme, but I can not say for sure that a new version of the plugin will be too.
Thanks
Ok, I’ll send an email. Visual Composer has never shown up in my theme. It will not install at all, even though it is saying the folder already exists. When I go to FTP, I have deleted the entire theme and reinstalled it again. When that didn’t work, I tried to uninstall the visual composer and then reinstall it. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I have tried the zipped file and the unzipped file. I will send an email with the login info.
Thank you
Hello! Congratulations on this beautiful theme! I insisted, but upon accessing the visual composer does not appear on the pages. What can it be?
Hello,
Pages have an ad box element you can find in the add element dropdown in visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-ad-spots/
I hope this helps
Thank you!
Hi,
This should be a simple process, just deactivate and delete the Visual composer plugin (this should remove the previously created destination folder) – https://www.screencast.com/t/9rar7GKlX then add the new updated version – https://www.screencast.com/t/n879DpzSWb4 If this is not working for you and you can not install Visual composer, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic.
Thanks
Hi,
As I can see most all of the links on the site are not working. I recommend deactivating all the plugins (including the analytics plugin you have installed) except Visual composer, clear the cache and purge cdn files. Also check any customization you may have made to the theme, code added in Theme panel or added in the theme files. Then check to see if the problem is fixed.
Thanks
