Hello,
There is no such bug we are aware of. If there truly was a major bug in our theme, then this forum would have been flooded with messages on this matter. The fonts were thoroughly tested and they do not change upon page refresh. Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test fonts again. The general font setting for modules and blocsk changes the general font for all elements to the desired one. It has the same effect as switching all of the options below it to another font.
The fonts and col,or scheme are affected by cache so please clear your cache after you change these settings. Another thing to do is make sure you have your system status parameters in order by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi
You can use elements from Visual Composer in posts but there might be a change to appear some issues with the layout and some additional customizations might be required in order to be displayed fine. If you don’t use Visual Composer the only way to add such elements on posts it’s by creating them in html.
This is a task which require many customizations and unfortunately we can’t provide custom services at the moment. If you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
Thanks!
Hello Deboshree,
1)Please try to check your system status parameters and try to increase them, according to below tutorial ->>
You have to increase these values in order to achieve the best result. If you do not have access to your system status file, please contact your hosting provider and then try to increase these parameters.
Please make sure your system status parameters are set properly. You can check here: http://screencast.com/t/Ka9cF6ty and then you can use this guide to see how you can increase these values: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please check and this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and make sure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer.
->> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
2)Please read this guide on facebook sharing: https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
3)I have checked your website and saw that you have 2 related articles (Jetpack ->related articles -> http://screencast.com/t/DasgcRooAz and our feature related articles -> http://screencast.com/t/90dWYnAi4Ad) if you want to have just ours Related Articles feature you have to disable from JetPack related Articles because we do not provide support for plugins features)
4)As I can saw in your website URL you are using a lot of untested plugins which can change the structure of our footer. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. For more information about our footer settings, please consult the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
If you use visual composer on pages, then only the pagebuilder + page title template will show titles and breadcrumbs: http://screencast.com/t/mVRgfapl5RG
Thank you!
Hello netimiz,
I have checked your website and I saw that your social counter are working properly now, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/dw790zxpDUz If your problem reappears, please follow the guide below and try to set up as properly ->>
In order to achieve best results, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. After you have done this, please consult the guide below and then check your social counter and see how it works.
1) Please make sure you have the latest theme version: 6.7. If not, you need to follow this guide to update your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
2) Having the latest version of the theme is not enough if you do not update the social counter as well. You need to remove the current version you use: http://screencast.com/t/4jvRwNzK and then install the version of the plugin that comes with the 6.7 theme: http://screencast.com/t/9AKKURjTjX
You can recognize if you have the correct version of the plugin when you see the new app key settings: http://screencast.com/t/CIXxklBanNl If you do not have these settings in your social counter it means you do not have the correct version.
3)You need to follow this guide to get the requirements from facebook:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
Please keep in mind that the social counter is not a live count. It will update once every few hours.
Hope this helps!
Thank you for the message!
Hi
Please address us in English next time as we cannot understand your request.
Thanks for your understanding!
I assume that you want to customize the category page with elements from Visual Composer. By default this s not possible as the theme allows only pages to be edited with Visual Composer, not the category page. However this can be achieved by modifying the code. You can check this topics where I offered similar solutions for Newsmag theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-ad-tags-for-the-category-templates-vs-the-homepage/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-do-you-filter-the-category-top-section/
Note that this is a complex task which require good coding skills and also many customizations in order to be achieved. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
Thanks!
Hello Matija,
Please make sure that you do not have JavaScript errors which can be caused by untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. As you can see in our demo preview, all works fine and does not appear differences between fonts on any browsers.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello rguez_dani,
Unfortunately, I cannot recreate this kind of issue. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
If your problem is still there after these changes and if you need more assistance in this regard, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect the issue and so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for the message!
Hi
I’ve checked your site and seems to be displayed fine now: http://screencast.com/t/ozPV4g951Yjg If you still have this issue try to clear all caches and test again.
If you still can’t manage to solve this please provide the shortcode from Visual Composer page-builder: http://screencast.com/t/68LZrbdbRG34 via http://pastebin.com/ so I can inspect this closer.
Thanks!
I couldn’t get Visual Composer to work on my news site.
So I just added a dev subdomain and installed a fresh WordPress, with no plugins, added Newspaper 6.7, activated the theme and added Visual Composer plugin.
VC still doesn’t work for me.
If I create a new page and click “Backend Editor” I see the VC panel.
But when I click Add Element or Add Template, nothing happens.
Adding a text block works, but thats not very useful, except it shows something works.
There can’t be a plugin conflict, so that must mean VC is looking for something that it isn’t finding – what is it?
Is it permissions? How do I debug it?
(I turned on debugging, but there are no errors listed.)
I loaded DebugBar – it also shows no problem.
Alan.
I’ve tested another upgrade on a different backend and samme error after update (with no update to VC.
I suspect it’s related to the visual composer changes you’ve made to the code in 6.7:
fix: removed some old Visual Composer detection code from td_wp_booster_functions.php, it was causing an error in certain cases
fix: improved the Visual Composer detection code inside the default page template file, it was triggered when the shortcodes didn’t have unique names(ex. Woocommerce shortcodes)
No. Not a bug.
The version included with theme can ONLY be updated when there is a new THEME update. You can’t update the plugin separately, as you don’t have a license to do so. So, you can ignore the “update notice” — you don’t HAVE to update anything everytime there is an update available.
The screen shot you added has NOTHING to do with a “copyright notice” — it’s merely saying there is an update “available” for the plugin. You don’t need the “latest version” to use theme. You have the latest version TESTED to work with the theme.
Again, please see theme docs:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
READ WHAT IT SAYS:
The theme includes a license for this plugin so you don’t have to buy it.
You don’t have to activate the plugin license, it’s already activated. <<<<<<
You can’t update the plugin directly from the it’s producer.
You don’t have to worry about the plugin update warnings. <<<<<<
(( I don’t work here . . . ))
So if I want to use any of the Visual Composer elements like charts, rows, different width columns etc, I can only do so in pages? Or is there a way to do this in posts as well without using VC (other than using shortcodes)?
I did like the guide.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
But Visual Composer continues to copyright requirements . 🙁 I think this is a bug.
hi all,
I just updated to version 6.7 Newspaper .
Then I updated Visual Composer to version 4:11 .
But Visual Composer requires a copyright notice .
Why??? help me 🙁

Ah, Visual composer must be active for Newspaper to work 🙂
re-activated, the [Vc] code snippets gone (duh)
Still no social icons… odd spacing issues…
Disabled visual composer.
Social icons came back.
Many more odd code snippets now appear as text on my page…
considering wiping it all and reinstalling Newspaper and never turning on visual composer
Hi,
If I create a page with basic editor, the page has bread scrum, page title, side bar,… However, if I use Visual Composer to add even 1 element (text block for example), the scrum, title, and side bar disappear. I don’t know what happens. Please advise. Thank you.
Urgently need your help.
The really major problem is that there seems to be a bug that affects the menu fonts. Everything was fine before the upgrade. Now whenever I click on the menu the fonts change, they become bigger and bold. How did that happen? Please help.
The second minor problem (not exactly a problem but very annoying) is the plugin badge for visual composer that prompts me to buy a licence. I thought it was included with the Newspaper theme.
Hi, I have updated the VC plugin (bundled with your theme), and it says “Howdy, don’t forget to activate plugin…”
As far as I know, I can’t activate the VC plugin bundled with a theme.
Do I have to pay attention to that activation warning? Can I hide that?
thanks
cstibi
Thanks,
Seems that the problem was a Visual Composer. Do I have to use that ?
a) make sure you fully cleared cache in site/cdn and browser
b) make sure you have enough memory allocated to WP in your wp-config.php file (default 40MB not enough to use Visual Composer!)
c) make sure you don’t have conflicting plugin causing javascript errors in your browser (see: F12/console in Chrome or Edge)
d) most often if changes are seen in the admin panel, but not on the site it’s a caching issue, where the original version pre-change still being shown or cached in your browser
(( I don’t work here … ))
If that is so and I have applied to the web but I need to insert into the body of the panel web Registration, if possible by visual composer or java code that can put in the same plug in
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Plugins are the number one reason for this kind of issues.
If the problem is still there without plugins, please provide a link to your website so we can inspect the problem.
Thank you!
