Hi
The theme uses the default login system from WordPress and does not control the emails sent by this system. I am not sure why this happens on your site but you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, just to make sure that there is no conflict, make sure you didn’t added any redirection rules which may conflict with the login system.
Alternatively you can do a few tests with a default wp-theme and check if the problem is still there.
Thanks!
Hello,
Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This will rule out a plugin conflict. Also if you have any modification made to the theme files, try to do a back-up and reset the theme to it;s default state.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello MarioBoriassi,
The latest version of Visual Composer is 4.11.1 and the latest version of Visual Composer which is tested with our theme and works as properly is 4.11 and because of this you have this message in plugin area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/pUf4jXoJhjyd We will include this version of Visual Composer in next future update because it lasts until checking the version if is compatible 100% with theme and if are require some adjustments to implement it.
Thank you for the message!
Hello MarioBoriassi,
Please try to update your Visual Composer to the latest tested version of the theme (4.11) according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Thanks.
Hello virjik,
If you want to use the News Ticker in full-width mode, please ensure that you have set it correct from Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/IJR2jSWROo9 and the result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/g7HWxU2cUA4h
Hope this helps!

Hello Dariob,
The latest version of Revolution Slider which is tested with our theme is 5.2.2 as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/cBh0cyCRY9 This kind of plugin comes bundled with our theme. If you want to have the latest version, ensure that you have downloaded the recent update of the theme which includes this plugin and you have to delete the old version and install manually from your latest folder which you have downloaded from Theme Forest (revslider.zip), like this -> http://screencast.com/t/E1LhZnoZC6y Please follow the same steps which are shown in the tutorial for updating the Visual Composer, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
The main problem with thumbs not showing is this one you have in the console: http://screencast.com/t/6WFhil3rd
JS errors break the lazyload animation. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn. Plugin conflicts are the number one reason for js errors. These can also be caused by custom modification not done properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello dizajn,
Please ensure that you have followed all the steps in order to update your theme according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ On my side is installed the latest version of the theme and Visual Composer and everything seems to works properly. Please make sure that this problem does not come from your untested plugins which can create some interferences in the theme and could cause this type of issue. Try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
If your problem is still there after this advice, please provide your log-in information (wp-admin) so I can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link to this topic so we can know who you are and what the issue is.
Thank you for the message!
Hello Catalin,
I did as advise update the theme one more, and again this more the Visual Composer plugin is asking for another update ?
How do I proceed ?
Thank-you,
Hello thanik30,
I suppose that you are referring to this Visual Composer element, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/sDDJ0o5sn7k9 If you want to change the font size for this kind of element, you have to use a bit of CSS code and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.vc_btn3.vc_btn3-size-md {
font-size: 60px;
}
The result you should see here -> http://screencast.com/t/r5HkfcS3
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about your desired changes so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thank you for the message!
Hello Manoel,
Please try to set your smart lists according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/ (for smart lists we recommend to use single template style 5 for posts for avoiding the duplicate images).
Another possibility, in this case, would be ->
Duplicate images on smart lists usually are the result of using the Photon feature of the Jetpack. If you use this feature please disable it as it is known to cause issues with our theme.
If the problem is still there, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear your cache as other plugins could also conflict with the smart lists. Also, if you are using “strange” characters (!@#$%^&*/”- etc) in ALT tag, the image will be twice. I have added this issue to our list of fixes and in next major updates will solve this problem. Until we will fix this issue, please try to remove these kinds of symbols in ATL tag for better results.
Also, and last but not least, please use post template 5 when you are using the smart list for better results. For more information about smart list, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello pablograna,
I suspect this issue come from interference between some untested plugins which you are using and our theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and instal only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, please delete the Social Counter plugin and try to re-install it from panel, Plugins Area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/ZqvzuIqlV
Also, please ensure that you have installed the latest version of the theme and the plugins for better results.
If you are trying to do some additional customizations in theme/ plugins and you are not aware to the steps in this regard and if it happens due from these actions, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
Please only use the visual composer version that comes with the theme. Please disable the plugin and delete it from the plugins section and then install it again from here: http://screencast.com/t/PtNqOuhl
If the error is still there, then access your files via ftp and delete visual composer (js composer) from your plugins folder and then try to install again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
Hello,
There is no need. I should have known it was a text block…as it’s an exception. It will get it’s formatting from visual composer you you have to use css to change it. (it’s best provide as many details as possible in the future so we can provide the solution faster)
A text box title font can be changed with this css:
.wpb_text_column h1, .wpb_text_column h2, .wpb_text_column h3, .wpb_text_column h4, .wpb_text_column h5, .wpb_text_column h6, .wpb_text_column h7{
font-family: "Times New Roman", Georgia, Serif;
}
Thank you!

Hi
I’ve checked your post and noticed that you’re using a text block from Visual Composer to add the text on post content: http://screencast.com/t/fxvXTwTldTqf The theme was not designed to work with Visual Composer on posts, only on pages. Try to deactivate the Visual Composer from posts: http://screencast.com/t/m0bezy4MamN clear all caches and test again.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello lpecchi,

How can we reduce vertical space between blocks in visual composer?
Hi there,
I bought and installed Newspaper 6.7 today and when I try to install the required Visual Composer plug-in it comes up with the following error message repeatedly:
——
Installing Plugin: Visual Composer
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from http://retail-inspiration.co.uk/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip…
Download failed. couldn’t connect to host
Return to tagDiv plugins panel
——
Any ideas of how to fix/get around it?

Hello maruks,
If you want to have a sidebar on your homepage, you have to use 2/3+1/3 layout and then you have to use Widgetised from Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/dTzMuMg174sP For more information about our sidebar, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ Also, you should see our video tutorial for how to customise your homepage -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss-BEobegAw and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5s-_PZufsE becasue these tutorials might be more useful for you.

Hello alexheikel,
I suppose that you are referring to YouTube playlist. This is a Visual Composer element and you can set if from Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/cvPZ97FdRn2c For more information about this type of feature, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/video-playlist-2/
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
I have checked again and only on firefox I could see the missing images. This issue is caused by a javascript error that conflicts with the lazyload animation from our theme. Usually it’s a plugin conflict. Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn if you use it. Then check your images again. If this originates from another source and it’s not a plugin conflict (maybe custom code) then you can either revert the theme to it’s default state or disable the lazyload effect from here: http://screencast.com/t/r91bybuXP
Thank you!
