Hi,
Please check the console when you hit the save button and see if there is an error. With right-click -> inspect -> console -> select the error in the tab network -> preview, you can see the cause.
Please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-does-not-save-only-content-of-homepage/
Thank you!
For some reason that I don’t know, TagDiv composer stopped saving the content and the header. The icon keeps spinning indefinitely. However, it saves the footer without problems.
The problem was sudden. However, we did the following tests:
– I disabled all the plugins and the problem remained.
– I restored the page (website and database) to a point where I am sure it was working correctly, but the problem remained.
– I reviewed the plugin status page to be sure that all technical requirements are met.
– I tried saving the content of another website that is hosted on the same hosting account (to rule out any problem with the hosting configuration) and on that website everything works fine.
– I tried to save from other computers with different browsers and operating systems but the problem persists.
– I tried to save the content of other pages within the same website (to rule out a problem with that particular page), but the problem remains.
Is there anything else I need to do?
Thank you very much for your prompt help.
Néstor
Hi,
You can delete the ad box with right-click and you can add a block from tagdiv Composer, as in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU&t=1s
Thank you!
Hello,
You can create a sidebar with tagdiv Composer where you can filter the block -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello Jim!
There are some default blocks that are not editable with the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
For some reason, it now updated. So that’s one issue down. Now the only issue I’m having is why the block that I chose to display news isn’t there anymore! And it won’t add in tagdiv composer because it doesn’t show up…

Hello Jim!
Make sure you have the Standard Pack plugin installed and active for the default templates.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features. Please check out our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
If you use default templates, then the settings are in the theme panel.
Thank you!
Hello, I just updated tagdiv composer on one of my sites, and now the news section that runs down the site is missing, replaced by [td_block_11 custom_title=”More News” header_color=”#2c8293″ limit=”20″ offset=”5″]
The site is deeptechdigest.com
It should look like the site at futurefoodtoday.com, with news running down the side.
When I go in to TagDiv composer to try and add/replace Block 11, there is no option to add it.
My other site, walkingpost.com is asking me to update TagDiv Composer but when I click on update, it just generates a blank page.
So, of my three sites, only one is functioning properly.
What’s going on and how do I fix this urgently?!
Thanks!
Jim
Hi,
A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
Thank you!
I have a custom shortcode from another plugin that I want executing on my page. If I edit the page without tagdiv composer, add it in the proper spot, and save. It works fine. But if I ever update anything with tagdiv composer it gets removed. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I couldn’t find a way inside tagdig composer to add external shortcodes and have them execute properly.
Hello Ken!
They are default pages. Edit them with the TagDiv Composer and add the content in the TagDiv Composer by using the Column text element.
Thank you!
Hello @wizromeo!
Please use only one builder: the tagdiv Composer and uninstall the WPBakery.
Clear all the cache and check the results.
If the problem is still there, then contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– cpanel url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
We will take a look and try to help you asap.
Thank you!
Hello @saleeth!
Copy-paste it manually in a new tab.
If you use cloud templates, then you should change the font for every element on the page in the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello @Ericky!
You can edit the templates with the TagDiv Composer. I can see that you have 3 columns on the row, so you can set only 2 and adjust the design as you like. Make sure the caching tools are not interfering there.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can delete the elements with right click -> https://tagdiv.com/right-click-menu-tagdiv-composer/ after you need to change the layout of the row -> https://i.imgur.com/wd4u5M7.jpg
Thank you!
Hi,
Do you want to have this one block?
We don’t have a tutorial for this, but you can try to use the elements/blocks from Composer, like image info box, Fancy text with image.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check with the tagDiv Composer and disable the H1. For example, H1 from logo(header, footer, mobile, sticky): https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/6-h1-tags-on-front-page-bing-have-deindexed-my-site/
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Do you have the WP Bakery plugin activated? if yes, please deactivate it.
Please note that the WP Bakery has a conflict with the tagDiv Composer. Please use only one builder and not both. So, I gladly recommend you to shift from WPBakery to Composer, because WPBakery is an old builder plugin. Please check our guide to know how to shift from WPBakery to Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/6xLVMmlsY ; https://www.screencast.com/t/zWHrRmK1LQC ; https://www.screencast.com/t/vuFdT9Stx ; https://www.screencast.com/t/DWbSf3qj ; https://www.screencast.com/t/QuHyGccTK71v
2. You can remove the Single Post Author Box using Edit with tagDiv Composer with a right-click you can delete => https://i.imgur.com/BnhhxVh.png , or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page => https://i.imgur.com/vkQVCjn.jpg
Thank you!
Hi
How I reset the single post view?
I don’t see an option on the Composer too.
Thank you
I installed the Single Post Template – Magazine PRO.
When I modify a post using TagDiv Composer, it views accurately.
https://app.screencast.com/HQvJXS88gIhd7
When I save and view the post, it does not view the same as it did in TagDiv Composer.
https://app.screencast.com/6FPRwQyVm5Xej
The correct single-post template is selected in the Theme panel.
https://app.screencast.com/nk1sMAu5KS1MO
I do not think the correct template is downloading.

Thanks, Bettina.
Here’s another problem. Not sure if this wasn’t added with TagDiv Composer or not.
I am trying to remove a large space at the top of a three pages (mobile view):
– https://libertylens.news/donors/
Also, for the header on these pages, I’d like to omit the category menu below the main header. Can you help me with this one?
Thank you,
Ken
Hello,
I updated manually (file transfert) the theme from v9.7 to latest and my header template (made from dentist demo) disapeared.
I tryed to rebuilt it from another cloud template but the Tagdiv editor seems have many issues. All plugin are up to date.
For example, i changed the logo image but still display the template logo
Also, i can’t create a new element on the header with Tagdiv composer
please see this capture : https://ibb.co/qCYhFjD
Here is a capture of the header i’d like back : https://ibb.co/t8fnFbp
Here is what i have now : https://ibb.co/5r6qbZc
Thanks for your help,
Thank´s for the link to the blocks. To make a block I am writing about, using tagdiv Composer, what tutorial would you recommend?
Thanks Anamaria! 🙂 Here’s the link:
https://app.screencast.com/Fm7MCcHbtK3ro
Hope that’s what you need.
Other things I’ve tried:
– making sure Cloudflare was inactive when I’m building the site out
– x-frame is at SAMEORIGIN on the server
– memory is not an issue
– The Tagdiv composer SORT Of works (as in when you change an element you get a screen refresh) on NEWly created elements but still get the “Undo Arrow” on all elements
The site is at goinglocal.li.

Hi,
The website that you provided does not use the Newspaper theme.
If you have on a staging website, please edit the category template with the TagDiv Composer, click on that block, and check if you have any offset values in the settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
Thank you!
