Hi,
Can you provide some screenshots with the settings you made for the ad and for the ad box set with the tagDiv Composer?
White line at the top of the composer pushes the left menu down
After opening the TagDiv composer, a white line at the top appears and it pushes the page down, including menu. It results in disappearing of the menu items on the left menu, the black strip with undo button to be more precise.
I tried;
1. to disable “Show Toolbar when viewing site” in User > Profile menu
2. view the composer in full screen (menu automatically adjusts)
3. hide the Windows task bar automatically (menu automatically adjusts)
4. change Window’s display settings
5. Downgrade the Newspaper theme from 12.7.4 to 12.7.3
None of them worked.
I’d appreciate some help. I’m a beginner with no technical background, so please keep it simple as much as possible.
Thank you!

P.S. I’d also be glad if someone tells me how to create pages which look like exactly posts. When I try to start a new, my header menu and footer overlaps and I can’t fix it.
Hi,
The Center Magazine Pro does not have a shop design, but this can be done, you can install the tagDiv Shop plugin and WooCommerce, and you can get from the cloud a template you like and adjust it using tagDiv Composer.
Thank you!

Hello TagDiv Support Team,
I am reporting a confirmed fatal PHP error related to the td-composer plugin on a licensed and fully updated Newspaper theme installation.
Below are the verified technical details:
**Theme & Plugin Details**
* Newspaper Theme Version: **12.7.4 (REGISTERED / Licensed)**
* TagDiv Composer Version: **5.4.3**
* WordPress Version: **6.8.3**
* PHP Version: **8.2.30**
**Hosting Environment**
* Hosting – Shared Hosting
* Server-level staging environment: Not available
* Issue occurs on live traffic
—
### Confirmed Fatal Error (Server-Validated)
The hosting provider has verified repeated fatal PHP crashes with the following error:
`
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string
File: wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/tdc_check_domain.php
Line: 149
`
This error has occurred multiple times on **January 18, 2026**, during live requests, and causes:
* Immediate PHP execution termination
* Frontend request hangs
* Admin-side timeouts
* Cron/background task failures
The hosting provider has confirmed that this is an **application-level fatal error**, not a database or server resource issue.
—
### Important Context
* The theme is **original, licensed, and up to date**
* The update to the latest version completed successfully
* The issue **persists after the update**
* The error appears to be triggered during **domain / license validation logic**, where a WP_Error object is not being handled safely under PHP 8.2
—
### Request
I kindly request your assistance with:
1. **Confirming whether this is a known issue** with the current td-composer version under PHP 8.2.
2. **Providing an official fix or patch**, or confirming if this will be addressed in an upcoming update.
If a permanent fix requires time, I would appreciate it if you could **advise a safe, update-compatible temporary mitigation**, strictly intended to prevent fatal execution crashes until an official resolution is released.
Please note that I am specifically looking for a solution that:
* Does not modify core plugin files permanently
* Does not affect license validity
* Remains fully compatible with future updates
—
Thank you for your support. I look forward to your guidance on resolving this issue safely.
Kind regards,
Team Caas India
I think I may need some help on this. I checked what you said but I can’t see it when I am logged in. Only when I’m logged out. I checked everything I could in the composer. This is my single post template
https://postaltimes.com/u-s-postal-service-holiday-performance-shows-significant-improvement/
Please watch my video: https://somup.com/cOVYjCSz71
I tried inserting shortcodes into the classic editor, composer, and visual composer, but nothing works. As soon as I deactivate the TagDiv Composer plugin, it works again, but as soon as I reactivate it, it doesn’t work again.
P.S.
Everything was working fine before updating my theme and plugin to the latest versions.
I hope you can figure out what’s bothering the plugin. Thanks so much for your help.
Hi,
Please check whether you are using the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. This plugin is not necessary if you want the mobile version to be the same as the desktop version, as it is only used to display a simpler blog layout on mobile devices.
1. Responsive Desktop Version â The default responsive layout that adjusts to mobile screens using tagDiv Composer â https://i.imgur.com/apZQZ0o.png
2. Mobile Page/Template â A custom mobile layout that can be created using the tagDiv Composer.
3. tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin â A separate mobile theme that provides a dedicated mobile experience but is limited in edits and changes.
Note: When the tagDiv Mobile Theme Plugin is activated, it takes priority and will be displayed on mobile devices. If itâs not active, the system will check for a mobile page/template built with tagDiv Composer. If neither of these is in use, the responsive desktop version will be shown by default.
Related to the cache, please check in the cache plugin documentation if this supports mobile cache if you are using the mobile page/template or tagDiv Mobile theme.
Also, the tagDiv Mobile theme is the only one that can be used for AMP. Unfortunately, the options for editing the layout are only a few. Also, pages need to be remade using the mobile editor only:

Hi,
Use teh shortcode provided by the adrotate plugin and set it using tagDiv Composer in the element ad box in the tab for custom code – https://i.imgur.com/ilblUGp.png
Hi Ling,
For CPTs, you can add Cloud Templates from Cloud Templates â CPT/Taxonomies https://i.imgur.com/pqIa2fo.png
Please note that these templates use different elements than Single or Category templates, so the same template used for Articles cannot be applied to CPTs. Since youâre using tagDiv Composer, you can edit a CPT template and adjust the layout as needed.
At the moment, we offer fewer templates specifically for CPTs, but Iâm confident youâll find one that works well as a base for customization.

Dear Calin,
I need to display the featured image everywhere if an image is uploaded, as it is now. And, on the other hand, hide featured images globally from all posts and pages (no empty space, no broken images) if a featured image is not uploaded.
If I remove the featured image from the single post template using tagDiv Composer, then the featured image will not display in all posts.
I use Flex Block 1. If I hide the image in the Layout â article image â hide image, then the image hides all categories, even if I upload it.
Could you figure out and help me?

Hi,
In this situation ou can use a placeholder for those articles https://prnt.sc/zipTSnSGNC9y you can also use tagDiv Composer and remove the featured image from the single post template – https://i.imgur.com/Q5hV6o4.png – https://i.imgur.com/wM6mPOz.png from and from flex blocks you can also remove the image – https://i.imgur.com/RsrNpQX.png
Hi Mike,
If you want to edit the theme logo you need to use tagDiv COmposer edit the homepage and select the logo element from there you can set text, image, icon, svg for more destils you can check our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi,
You can use tagDiv Composer edit the homepage – https://i.imgur.com/vNaxmZl.png select the row from the header and you can stretch it – https://i.imgur.com/J0ZL4tH.png https://tagdiv.com/how-to-add-delete-and-duplicate-row-newspaper-theme/
Hi,
I believe you are referring to the ext spot_img, which is displayed like that because there was previously a banner image set, but the image was deleted from the Media Library.
To fix this, please use tagDiv Composer, edit the page or template, and select the spot_image element. Make sure it is set as an Ad Box element, then go to the Image tab. There you will find the option to remove the image. Click Remove to delete the link that no longer exists.
For the related articles, select the element and go to the Layout tab. There, choose the option to display one module per row/line.
Hi,
In case you want to have this functionality https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_podcasts/ then you need to use audio formats for your articles, set the links for audio, and the featured image will be transformed into audio. Also, on your websites, you should use flex blocks to have the audio icon displayed. https://i.imgur.com/zceMuk7.png
Also, you can import from cloud the blocks you like for audio and video format and just adjust them using tagDiv Composer.
Also, for the single post template, make sure that you are using the Single Featured image, not the background one.
Thank you!
Hi,
Could you make 2 tests?
– check if this is working if the shortcode is set into a post (possible to work)
– make a test to see if is working if the shortcode is set with tagDiv Composer in a column text in text zone
Hi, related to the portrait view of the mega menu of the website (www.israele360.com), i’ve seen on tadadv composer doesn’t allow me to center the lines. I’ve checked all the option and they are all on center alignment, but still i don’t see the both lines cauterized. How can i fix it ?
thx
Hi, thanks so much for your help. Basically, the plugin should show the map and, by selecting one of the hotspots, display the corresponding list underneath. Currently, however, it shows the map twice (without the hotspot) and all the lists are visible one after the other.
Using the DETECTIVE plugin, I discovered that the plugin causing the error is “TagDiv Composer.” Without that plugin, everything works, but as soon as I enable it, the map stops working.
I made a short video to show how it behaves now and how it should work: https://somup.com/cOVD6FSvPj
Thanks for your help, I hope you can figure out what’s bothering the plugin.
P.S.
Of course, I can provide my WordPress and FTP credentials if needed.
Thanks again
Hi,
This type of situation usually occurs when the Google Fonts option is disabled in the theme panel. Please make sure this option is enabled on your site and that no additional plugin is interfering with font loading. Some cache or optimization plugins disable Google Fonts for performance reasons. You can check this here: https://prnt.sc/o9JyrNM9HGrp
When the default fonts are enabled, the theme normally uses Open Sans and Roboto. However, if the browser you are using has a different default font configured, that font may be displayed instead.
How can theme fonts be used?
They can be applied globally through the theme panel settings, but only if no individual font settings are defined for specific elements. You can find a detailed guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Additionally, if you are using cloud templates, you will need to edit them with tagDiv Composer and check for any extra fonts in use. Elements that do not rely on the default fonts will be listed under Website Manager > Fonts:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/
Thank you!
Hi,
To display those results on a page, you need to use tagDiv Composer. Add a Flex Block (or even a Flex Block Builder). After setting the layout you want, configure it to display the custom post type you need; in your case, country-town and/or drinks-stays-eat.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi,
I understand đ
Yes, WPBakery Page Builder can be used, just need to install it like a normal plugin. Itâs included with the theme package and can be found at this path:
Newspaper-tf\code\other_plugins\js_composer.zip
Please note that if you disable the tagDiv Composer, the Newspaper theme will behave like a simple/default WordPress theme and will no longer provide the custom functionality youâre currently using.
Thank you!
Hi,
The â Errors at columns elements: 11(models) : 12(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)â most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, youâll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are referring tothe featured image thsi can be edited using tagDiv Composer and you can choose the image size you want to use https://i.imgur.com/nysH0qW.png https://i.imgur.com/1UOkCO0.png
