Hi,

Unfortunately we don’t plan to add this timeline template again, but if you have basic html/css/php experience you can adapt the template to work with this version of the theme, so please check the old theme’s files and you will find page-homepage-timeline.php in the root of the theme to customize it – http://screencast.com/t/qaHetBkZ3nHk

Thanks!

Hi,

Please try to remove this css code from style.css and see if it is fixed – http://screencast.com/t/RqhSiTia
I have also added this on our list for further testing and we will try to find a proper solution as this css was not in the old theme version. Let me know how it goes!

Thanks!

Hi,
All css is in style.css Depends of what you want to edit. You can apply, different colors, fonts from Theme Panel.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,
You need to add there the CSS and JS of your plugins, but careful, because not all plugins will work with JS to footer or css.

Just add a new line like this:
$this->move_style_to_footer_queue('');

and write the ID of the css, js that you want to move.

Here is an example for the bbPress css http://screencast.com/t/eFq9PKcDus this is the ID

Hope this help!

Buna

Pentru http://xzs.idevice.ro foloseste acest custom css:
.td-header-sp-ads .td-header-ad-wrap{display:none;}
ca in exemplu acest: http://screencast.com/t/BedRDyzKSl

Hi,
You need to leave the SHOW POST VIEWS on. Also if you don’t what them on the post/page can by hidden via CSS.

Use this CSS if you want to hide them:

.td-module-comments,
.td-post-comments {
display: none !important;
}

Hi,

2. On some headers if you load a mobile logo will use that logo. http://screencast.com/t/IoLqexZQz remove the logo for mobile on that headers.

3. The normal size for a favicon is 16×16, no need to use a large image, in your browser is like that http://screencast.com/t/ku1lucx5vAb6

4. Tell me what you want to change via CSS

5. The CSS from Theme Panel overwrite the default css from style.css. If you want to make it better change the colors manually in style.css

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

1. You’re using a custom page there and the mobile menu doesn’t display mega menus, it just displays the links. In your case it doesn’t know what the custom page contains and it displays only the main link.
The only solution may be to add two submenus to this item and hide them on desktop and tablet using custom css (display: none). The submenu links may be identical to the one used on the megamenu page and they will show up only on the mobile menu.

2. On multi-language you have to add translations for both languages, ex for English + German: – http://screencast.com/t/2wKLA7l9https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-translate-the-theme/
You have to add this dual translation for each element.

Thank you!

Hi,
I’m not sure what you want to achieve, but if the smart list is not what you want, you need to make it manually somehow.

For the excerpts alignment just use this CSS

.td-excerpt {
text-align: justify;
}

Thanks for the message!

Hi,
The problem is more deeper than that, because you are there on a post page(single) and if you have more categories will change the color for all categories. Is needed the categories box to have a unique selector to catch only the desired one.

You need to edit like here to output the category slug as selector:

,'cat_slug' => $td_parent_cat_obj->slug
,'cat_slug' => $category->slug

td-' . $td_cat_parms['cat_slug'] . '

http://screencast.com/t/zuhr7AwhCFO

Then add the selector for the categories like here:
Inspect your category and copy the selector http://screencast.com/t/laSgnyAsph and add it in CSS

.td-tagdiv-travel a {
color:#000;
}

Result: http://screencast.com/t/rGskHwPHZw3

Hi,

Yes you can set a background color for each of your categories from Theme Panel > Categories > each category: http://screencast.com/t/4ui1Pg23EK
If you want to use custom css to change all categories to a color you can try this code: http://screencast.com/t/bGRbsFbbu7x

.single .td-category a {
background-color: #222222 !important;
}

Thanks!

Hi,

I don’t know exactly what custom modifications did you made as this is not added by the theme – http://screencast.com/t/33Dmj98xmQ You can try to hide it using custom css but first take a closer look at the plugins that you use or custom modifications – http://screencast.com/t/QQh3UHlplCN

.td-post-content .none {
display: none;
}

Thanks!

Hi,

The font family should work if you set it for body – http://screencast.com/t/IbqoOucyA but for size you will need to use custom css:
*change to html editor and add inline csshttp://screencast.com/t/xos8wa1J2Iw9
* or target the specific page and add this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css
take page id – http://screencast.com/t/0DS7oSaL
and target text block and title – http://screencast.com/t/AMoj6pTUoHc

.page-id-2877 .wpb_text_column p {
font-size: 10px;
}
.page-id-2877 h2.hrf-title {
font-size: 15px;
}

Also for terms page – http://screencast.com/t/8c2V8oRm5j4

.page-id-429 .wpb_text_column p {
font-size: 13px;
}

Thanks!

I know that instead of all the table code, a simple DIV + CSS will perfectly do the same thing.

For the search / replace, I am not a DB guru and afraid to break all the site.

Before the last update, all tables show correctly.
So I suppose, I could deactivate sometng in the CSS to solve this.

I am sure TD could help me with this.

Hi,

This usually happens because of the speed booster plugin which move the css and js at the bottom of the page structure so that the page will load faster, this is why the theme default color appears first then changes, because of the cascading property of css. A solution is to change the color directly into style.csshttp://screencast.com/t/HYAkKVIoHBv

Thanks!

Hi,

The option from Theme Panel refers to the lazy load on all images on your pages, posts… The effect animation allows you to animate your theme images as you scroll from top to the bottom on a page.
Please try this custom css to remove zoom effect for all Big Grids – http://screencast.com/t/aaJY97QL56

.td-hover-1 .td-big-grid-post:hover .td-module-thumb .entry-thumb {
transform: none !important;
-webkit-transform: none !important;
-moz-transform: none !important;
}

And to remove gradient you can use style 4 – http://screencast.com/t/HSmejUSBldx8http://screencast.com/t/eUOW9Rz1uy

Thanks!

Hi,

1. Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css for homepage big grid – http://screencast.com/t/AHh1o5Rdovd

.home .td_block_big_grid_1 .td-grid-style-1 .td-module-thumb a:last-child:before {
background: -moz-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.3) 100%);
background: -webkit-gradient(linear,left top,left bottom,color-stop(0%,rgba(0,0,0,0)),color-stop(100%,rgba(0,0,0,0.3)));
background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.3) 100%);
background: -o-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.3) 100%);
background: -ms-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.3) 100%);
background: linear-gradient(to bottom,rgba(0,0,0,0) 0%,rgba(0,0,0,0.3) 100%);
}

2. Check this custom css for Newsticker on homepage – http://screencast.com/t/nvVJdY36Y

@media (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 1018px) {
.td-trending-now-wrapper {
padding-left: 14px !important;
}
}
@media (min-width: 1019px) {
.home .td-trending-now-wrapper {
padding-left: 23px !important;
}
}

3. Please provide more details as I’m not sure what you mean.
4. You can use custom css to remove it. This is the default padding added to all blocks, it is not individual added – http://screencast.com/t/o1uzxdxLA You can try to reduce it only on homepage using .home class and do this for each block as it may break the layout, you need custom work to do this for all blocks, sorry.
5. The author name on Big Grid can be hidden via custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Csshttp://screencast.com/t/JItaPLaE8m

.td_block_big_grid_1 .td-big-grid-post .td-post-author-name {
display: none;
}

You can do this for each big grid just change the number of big grid that you use, for example – http://screencast.com/t/2NznmheJZR1

Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately we cannot add options for elements from each sections of the theme, but we read and listen our clients suggestion and try to add more options and make a better implementation for this. We have over 250 features on our list(most of them suggested by clients) and we have to chose carefully which one get’s implemented next. Anyway I have added your suggestions on our list and I will answer to some of your suggestion in case that you want to fix using custom css(I know that are suggestions).
1. The top menu(where the social icons are enabled) was not designed for mobile devices. We hope to find a solution also for login/register for example to be displayed also on mobiles. You can use custom css to display social icons on top-menu:

.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block;
}

2. Please provide more details about what you want to change and how to look, maybe I can help you with some css code.

3. The icons are added like a font – http://screencast.com/t/tEw5qZYM so you can try to change the size or the font content – http://screencast.com/t/53Rk830uVf of course you need to customize to look fine.
4. Unfortunately you will have to use custom css to change color/hover color for footer social icons – http://screencast.com/t/3cw0BttN

.footer-social-wrap .td-icon-font {
color: red;
}
.td-social-icon-wrap i.td-icon-facebook:hover {
color: #fff;
}

6. If you refer to the Big Grid/Big Grid Slider you can use Style 4 please check the demo – http://screencast.com/t/EKVxfdxehttp://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
Please check this topic for zoom effect – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/dark-pictures/#post-54266

Thanks for suggestions!

Hi,

I did a lot of this things, but I think there is a problem with a part of the tutorial and Newspaper 6 (Remove render blocking css/js – using the TagDiv Speed Boosterplugin in https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/). How I have to put the codes of this part of the tutorial? It doesn’t work and block the web if I write anything in this plugin file.

Hi,

Not sure if this is what you mean but you can try this custom css and play a little with those values maybe you find what you need, also remove background for title – http://screencast.com/t/bwVVEoIM

.td-image-gradient-style8:after {
background: -moz-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 50%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%);
background: -webkit-gradient(linear,left top,left bottom,color-stop(50%,rgba(0,0,0,0)),color-stop(100%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5)));
background: -webkit-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 50%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%);
background: -o-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 50%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%);
background: -ms-linear-gradient(top,rgba(0,0,0,0) 50%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%);
background: linear-gradient(to bottom,rgba(0,0,0,0) 50%,rgba(0,0,0,0.5) 100%);
-webkit-box-shadow: none !important;
-moz-box-shadow: none !important;
box-shadow: none !important;
}
.td-post-template-8 .td-post-header {
background-color: transparent !important;
}

Thanks!
