Hi,
The theme have in Theme panel -> Excerpt from where you can control the automatic excerpt limit.

You can style that button like you want via CSS, just remove the background, if you want give me a link with your implementation to inspect the button.

Thanks!

hi,
the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin will take every post image and slice it into smaller ones.

but if the post image is not wide enough to fit the slider , the “Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin will not make it bigger.

however you can use this css to streach the big image from the big slider
(http://screencast.com/t/YQ9CjlXiH):

 .iosSlider .td-slide-item-main .entry-thumb {
    width: 745px;
}

here: http://screencast.com/t/NRdCPESL

you can change the 745px to what number you want.

Thanks for you message.

Jetzt sollte der Link funktionieren. Sorry.

/* Topmenu one row
————————————*/
.menu-topmenue-container{
display: inline-block;
}

Use this CSS

.td_980_resp .td-sub-footer-wrap .td-grid-wrap {
    padding-top: 2px !important;
}

Thanks!

Hi,
– You can make that with a custom field with Advanced Custom Fields plugin

– About a gallery slider, we will take a look for future updates. Added to our list.

– This is doable with CSS

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hi,
You don’t need to modify that files, because you will lose the code on an theme update. The theme have support for Custom CSS in Theme panel.

Add this CSS in Theme panel -> Custom CSS

.td-footer-wrap {
   background: url("http://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/21700000/HD-wallpapers-beautiful-pictures-21761366-1920-1200.jpg") repeat-x scroll center top !important;
}

like here: http://screencast.com/t/JeMIEaPR3 and replace the image with yours.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,
You can’t via CSS.

1.

            <div class="row-fluid td-menu-header">
                <div class="span3 hide-mobile">
                    <?php

                    wp_nav_menu(array(
                        'theme_location' => 'my-menu',
                        'menu_class'=> 'sf-menu',
                        'fallback_cb' => 'td_wp_page_menu',
                        'walker' => new td_tagdiv_walker_nav_menu()
                    ));

                    ?>
                </div>

like here: http://screencast.com/t/BqiMkB5Sb

2. 'my-menu' => __( 'My Menu', TD_THEME_NAME)
like here: http://screencast.com/t/2bVntzFIS5Q

3. Add this CSS in theme panel -> Custom CSS

@media (max-width: 767px) {
    .span3.hide-mobile {
        display: none;
   }
}
.hide-mobile {
    padding-left: 15px;
}
.td-menu-wrap #td-top-menu {
    padding-left: 0px;
}
@media (min-width: 1200px) {
    .hide-mobile {
       padding-left: 48px;
    }
}
.td-menu-header .span8 {
    margin-left: 0px;
}
.menu-header-container {
    display: table;
    float: none !important;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
}

4. Go to Appearance -> Menu
Use this menu for that 2 icons and header menu for the rest of the menu.

Hi!

I just bought the awesome Newspaper theme.
Unfortunatly, I’ve got a problem with the Revolution Slider plugin.
When I try to include a slideshow on a simple post or to create a homepage from one of the included templates, no slideshow appears at all.

With Firebug, I have the following errors :

ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
...y:0})},100);var rt=u.css("z-index");var it=i.css("z-index");if(T==1){var ut=-r.w...
TypeError: jQuery.browser is undefined
if (jQuery.browser.msie) {

So, I checked deeper in the code and I noticed that RevSlider is loaded before jQuery (admin-bar.min is also loaded before jQuery).

How can I resolve this?

Can someone give me a hand or just explain to me what I am doing wrong? It would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!

2. Can be replaced via CSS, should work with this CSS

.block-title a, .block-title span, .block-title label {
background-color: transparent !important;
color: #444444 !important;
padding-left: 0px;
padding-bottom: 3px !important;
padding-top: 0px;
display: inline-block;
font-family: 'Roboto Condensed', sans-serif;
padding: 3px 10px 3px 10px;
font-size: 18px;
}

Thanks!

Hi

I have been trying to add a footer bg image to the top of my footer. I have changed the css in the following files:

styles.css
main.css
footer.less

I can see using firebug that the image is there but it will not show up when i refresh the site.

My code is

styles.css

.td-full-layout .td-footer-wrap,
.td-boxed-layout .td-footer-wrap .span12 {
background-image: url(“http://103.4.234.43/~wwwaaaba/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/AAA_Color_Footer_top.png&#8221;);
background-repeat:no-repeat;
}

main.css

.td-full-layout .td-footer-wrap,
.td-boxed-layout .td-footer-wrap .span12 {
background: #fafafa;
background-image: url(“http://103.4.234.43/~wwwaaaba/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/AAA_Color_Footer_top.png&#8221;);

Any help will be grateful. I have spent house on this.

Thanks

Yes, that moves all the menu items, which I’ve already tried.

My question: How do I center the menu items I mentioned, while keeping the ones I specified left-aligned? I know this can be achieved by mentioning their ID in custom CSS, but how?

Thanks,
Are

hi,
the menu is made with <li> elements.
you can move all of theme using:

.menu-header-container {
    display: table;
    float: none !important;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
}

here : http://screencast.com/t/2pdgwMm0TUN

in Advance CSS you can use this css only on certain devices.

Thanks for you message.

This should be very simple in the Theme Panel, but you do not have edit or “Blockquote” in your Custom Typography.

I simply want to change size and color, but because default css has !important on everything, my custom css does not stick.

Please add Theme Panel >> Custom Typography >> Blockquote

Hi,
1. Do you need to change the font and size only on post with that CSS becouse the content font, size and line-height can be changed directly from Theme panel -> Custom Typography
http://screencast.com/t/BJPDjNBeRMeW

Also if you need only ok post use your CSS but on that large font you need a higher line-height value. Try with line-height: 28px

2. In v3 the post file is loop-single.php http://screencast.com/t/OjJNnEQ4G

3. Add a RAW HTML above the slider with this:

<h4 class="block-title">
<span>YOUR TITLE HERE</span>
</h4>

4. Via CSS, add this CSS on the logo selector border-bottom: 4px solid #4DB2EC; with your color. If you don’t manage it only if you give me your site URL to inspect it and i will give you the right CSS.

5. Give me your URL to see it, can be done via CSS

6. Same here

Thanks!

Hi,

First I want to say great work on the new updates and especially providing me with such great support so far, truly appreciate it.

I’ve been continuing to run into formatting issues after the v3 update.

1. Increasing the font size of my post body text results in the first paragraph of the post having abnormally larger line indents as seen here: http://www.screencast.com/t/H7tFlTFFUD

I am currently using this code in the custom css:

.post p {
font-family: ‘PT Sans’ !important;
font-size: 20px !important;
}

2. Adding author names on the post pages do not seem to work. I removed the “//” <?php echo $this->get_author();?> in td_module_1.php but nothing changes.

3. Add a Title to the Featured Slider on home page as seen here:
http://www.screencast.com/t/LhQRRXLeL

4. The Newspaper theme by default makes it so that when you hover your mouse over the menu buttons, they become underlined. How do I make it so the red line stays permanently fixed on a specific button as seen here: http://www.screencast.com/t/LhQRRXLeL

5. Increase font size of the subtitle ONLY on the author page as seen here: http://www.screencast.com/t/UobyVGZnN

6. Reduce the gap between the author name and author subtitle on the author page as seen here: http://www.screencast.com/t/UobyVGZnN

Again thank you for all the great work.

Best,

Nick
