Come on Bogdan, this isn’t really a custom design. its part of your demo which is advertised with the theme. All the css is part of the theme files… all am asking is which section of the css to copy and where to put it.
Step by step guide, pls.
thanks
Hi,
The text padding has to be set manually for each post, when creating the post. That is the case for the sidebar as well, it has to be manually disabled for each post if that is required.
I see that you use the same padding value for the whole post content, you could try a code like this in the theme panel custom CSS section
.category-travel .td-post-content {
padding-left: 12%;
padding-right: 12%;
}
This will set a padding to the post content, for posts that belong to the travel category in this example. Replace the category with your own and see if it works properly in some tests.
For example here I have disabled the paragraph padding, and used the code

Hi,
A specific option to disable the mobile top grid is not available in the mobile theme settings. However it can be removed. The easiest way would be to use a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/QnnUDfQs86xV
.td_block_big_grid_mob_1 {
display:none;
}
This code has to be entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS code section.
Thanks
Hi,
1. The theme does not have such an option at the moment. You could continue to use the implementation you currently have if it produces the required results.
2. If you would like to remove the Join option in the mobile theme (using mobile theme plugin) you could either remove it from the code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PexFMkRl
Or remove it with some CSS code entered in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS section
.td-mobile-container .td-menu-login #register-link,
.td-mobile-container .td-menu-login span {
display: none;
}
Thanks
Thanks for the reply! I don’t have custom CSS written up yet and am still tweaking the Newspaper base / layout settings, so I’m making changes in the Newspaper Theme and then once I’m ready to enable the custom CSS, I’m going to activate the child theme and use the customize option so I can see live edits.
If that works, I’m all set- thanks again for your recommendations!
Hey there,
I just updated the theme to last version but I’m having a lot of problems making it work properly:
– I made some CSS changes before so iframes have -5% less margin, but now YouTube’s video height are 62px: https://www.elquintobeatle.com/2017/12/09/julian-casablancas-anuncia-nuevo-album-the-voidz/
– Post loading is not working at all. Neither infinte load or “load more button”: https://www.elquintobeatle.com/actualidad/
I’m using Supercacher from Siteground hosting + Cloudflare Plus. Could you help me?
Thanks a lot
Hello Renu Bakshi,
The custom CSS code will be injected at the bottom of the style.css file will overwrite the main rule. The process will happen in cascade.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Tables need to be created responsive. This is the implementation of your table, not the theme responsiveness. Please try this method of creating responsive tables: https://css-tricks.com/responsive-data-tables/
There are plugins that can provide responsive tables as well.
Thank you!
Hello lsaiyan,
You can try using the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.
The code is ->
.td-crumb-container{

Hi,
It seems there is an issue in the backend, the raw HTML element cannot be selected. The functionality should be that by clicking on the elements, the embed code of the map would be visible.
I have added this issue on our list and it will be fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime please enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS code section
.tdc-theme-Newspaper .vc_raw_html iframe {
pointer-events: none;
}
This will make the HTML element clickable in the composer, and allow you too change the Google map embed code

Please note in the demo the iframe width is set to 100%

Sorry for any inconvenience created by the situation.
Thank you!
Hi,
1. You can simply paste a link to the image and we will take a look. A link to the actual website page would be also helpful for more accurate solutions.
2. An option for this does not exist, the post templates are predefined. It could be reduced with some CSS if necessary. If you could provide an example post we will give you a solution.
3. I don’t quite understand what bar you are mentioning, some more details would be very helpful for a better understanding.
4. That is the More articles box, it can be disabled in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/more-articles-box/
5. Tags can be set individually for each post, in the post edit screen
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PHxkUEr20
You can choose what tags the post should have and add them.
Thanks
The Custom CSS placed in custom CSS section of custom code section, where it get injected. Please give a few examples of its main uses.

– https://www.screencast.com/t/xCmspkovXir

.td_block_trending_now .td-next-prev-wrap {

Hi,
You could try and target the first paragraph in the post content with CSS, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8eyzgCOjwd0A
This code will select the first paragraph and allow you to style it as you want, give it a try. Use the font properties you want in the code example, then enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
.td-post-content p:first-child {
color: blue;
}
Thanks
Hi,

@media (max-width: 1018px) {
#td-top-mobile-toggle {
display: inline-block;
position: relative;
}

Hello LaJornada,
If you want to add a simple link which only works on your homepage you simply try to add it from the panel, Menus section, Custom Link like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lDAiyUdPi and then, using a bit of CSS code you should hide it for the entire theme and block it only for homepage. Below, I gave you an example.
The code is ->
.menu-item-451{
display:none;
}
.home .menu-item-451{
display:block!important;
}
The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/uiXM29cvFaB
Thanks for your understanding!
I would like to add the author name to .td_block_big_grid_4, Style 2, Black bottom box.
Could you perhaps give me some css code that would make this happen? Thanks.
I would like the author name to appear before the title of the post, as in
Author
Post title
or
Author (on top)
<block picture>
Post Title
I have done this but am not getting desired result. Maybe i am not copying the correct css for block 15, can you provide me with the css? or could it be some other issue?
thanks
i want to increase the header ad size from 728*90 to 970*90 as my logo size is less … Can u help me with the css modification
Activate the child theme and customize it to prevent your custom css from being overwritten when updating the parent theme. You have two options to customize the child theme. You can use the customize option in the appearance section (I use that because it enables me to see live edits) or the Custom CSS option on Newspaper>Theme Panel>Custom Code> Custom CSS.
I am using blocks 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 15 on my front page. I would like to change the color of the excerpt font from grey to black.
Is there a css for that?
Hi,
I have this white padding space between my header and the big grid 1 in mobile view. I wish to remove this white space in mobile view only (the space can remain in ipad and desktop view).
I have tried this CSS and pasted in the Theme panel>Advanced CSS>Phones but it has no effect:
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0px;
}
Please see link: https://imgur.com/a/96YYt
Thank you for your help.
I want to display the date my site has published it’s most recent post.
The plug-in for these features has been found but does not exist.
Can you teach me how to solve this problem using css coding?
