I have theme X installed on my website, but without the Standard Pack plugin active.
Also I have installed the newspaper PRO theme, without installing the content, because I don’t want to override or mix the demo content with my content.
But after installing the newspaper Pro demo theme.. I don’t see any templates… It really makes no difference.
I understood from an article you have written that this is an easy way to update the website.
Please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hello, I upgraded to version 10. I imported the demo and I want to build the site on the demo. I’m starting to change the contents. However, there are Logo – Retina – Favicon Logos in NewsPaper – Theme Panel – Header section. I uploaded my logo (272 x 90px) (544 x 180px) I also uploaded my Retina logo. But I can’t see the logos. Likewise we have the logo from the ready on it. How do I change these logos? Help me! Please.

I’m having the same issue. I’m running the site with demo content, and I get the errors when I remove blocks. The only third-party plugin I’m using is Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP), but I was getting the errors before I installed that. The site functions fine. Saves fine. But I have to refresh the page to get rid of the error messages. Glensidetoday.com

If you want to properly convert to full pro demo you will have to disable the standard pack from begining and build your page based on a default pro demo.
When you deactivate the standard pack you will face the issue shown on picture 3. So you can disable that, and install defaul pro demo for example and after that start editing your theme.

* most of the pages are OK and have a background color, but about 10 pages don’t have in teh header and i don’t know why

We changed the site’s demo to Default PRO yesterday, updated the theme panel to make things look like they were, etc., and then briefly deactivated the Standard Pack to see what it would look like. Below, you can see some screenshots of the Home page, an article page, and category page.

1. The standard pack is the plugin that you must have if you want to keep your website in the same design as it was untill now. You can disable standard pack if you use the new PRO demos.
2. Please make sure that you still have the infinit load posts set up. Also check for plugin conflicts.
3. That is the way that the caption was designed, there is no bug in that.

5. The newspaper X works just like 9.8 or any other version, if you are on a brand new domain, install a pro demo and start posting.
6. That is due cache, it shows the posts that you have accesed.

You can install a demo without content so you will have only the layout.
Your page speed is influenced by multiple factors but it should not be affected by this process.
If you uninstall a demo after a month for example your posts will remain the same.

I was wondering if there’s an option for me to enable login/register tab above the header.
I have it enabled in theme panel but it looks like for this cloud theme, I have to enable it differently.

1. I install a demo with content, then delete all its contents (posts, pages, categories etc.) and place my content in their place (posts, pages, categories etc.) and if i create a website with a demo , then it might cause me a problem later? (And can I do it this way)
2. Can my website speed improve if done this way?
3. If I uninstall the demo after doing it this way, can the content of my website be deleted?
4. If uninstall does not delete the content, then the settings that I will do in the demo will be changed on uninstall?
5. If I do this, can I have any problem in updating the theme in future?

In order to deactivate the standard pack which will result in a greater page speed you will have to switch to PRO demos / layout but that will require design adjustments / re-design. And after switching to pro everything will be shortcoded so the amount of code available on the page will be dictated by that.
Unfortunately at the moment we are not able to provide a step by step tutorial.

After updating our site to version 10 the layout was broken, yes we removed all plugins but still no way, imported multiple demos and still did not work.

Hi, I have problems with categories and tags when I create a new article.
This happened even before upgrading to version 10.
In summary, when I write a new article and create new categories or new tags, strange things happen:
– The categories I create do not appear immediately, and sometimes do not appear at all.
– Same thing for the tags, I have to wait about 3 seconds to see if it has taken them or not. In some cases they disappear after I entered them.
I leave the link for a demonstration video, I hope it is more comprehensive than what I wrote. At the beginning of the video I made some confusion in entering the categories but it is possible to see the problem anyway.

Hi Vlad, I don’t what you just said is true. At least it’s not universally true. We have designed our site using the version 9 and TagDiv Composer. So even if we load the Default Pro demo design in, if we deactivate the Standard Plugin, all we see are the shortcodes on the screen. How do we go about updating the site so that we can take advantage of the new speed functions of Newspaper X?
Will we have to redesign the site all over again?
