Hi,
Sure, I’ll take a look and try to provide suggestions. I believe this is your website https://product-strategist.com/
I checked a few post pages and for me the loading speed is usually below 1 second https://prnt.sc/k0jMr6tL1b_Z That’s certainly not very slow. I see you are using Litespeed which is a very good plugin. You could try the option to delay the JS https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/pageopt/#js-settings-tab this one here https://prnt.sc/-qSiTgI_hUMf which would make it faster, but it could also cause problems with how the page looks or works, please test it carefully.
The images are optimized and they are lazyloaded, which is very good.
One suggestion I would make is to delete the standard pack plugin -> https://prnt.sc/ARUZDej2rw2C this is not required for the theme demo you installed. Deleting it it stops resources from it from being loaded unnecessarily.
Maybe also try delaying the loading of the mega-menu, there is an option for that -> https://prnt.sc/y0F9L98R-gEf
Also try delaying the loading of the footer -> https://prnt.sc/hGvAdiY8wm3I
If you try a few of these there should be improvements. But there could also be issues, so please test carefully.
Thank you!
That’s usually the case, plugin conflicts. If the conflict was only with the theme activation and demo import, after doing those you can activate the plugin back.
I see you imported a demo already. Let me know if you need help customizing it. I’ll provide instructions and screenshots.
Thank you!
Normally we recommend using theme demos https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=all Usually everyone finds a demo that they like. There are plenty of demos for a blog website.
Also, all the pages, blocks, sections, etc. from all the demos are available separately in the cloud library https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/All So if you like parts from multiple demos, you can import them separately.
Or you can keep using the custom templates if you want, but they won’t work in the composer unfortunately. Customizing them will have to be done in their code, same as they were created.
Thank you!
Hi,
It might have been something temporary. I see you installed the theme eventually and imported a theme demo on your website. Let me know if I can help with something else.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please do not post admin usernames and passwords in the topics. The topics are public and everyone can see them. If you want to send us access to the website please send it by email at contact@tagdiv.com
Installing a theme demos takes a few minutes. I see you already installed the demo you mentioned, on your website. Please let me know if I can help with something else.
Thank you!
I would like you upload and install the following: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/ which is a Magazine Template. Please let me know what do you need. https://momorichmondhill.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bluehost
I would like you upload and install the following: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_fashion/ which is a Magazine Template. Please let me know what do you need. https://momorichmondhill.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bluehost
The Free news demo uses a few popups of the menus. The one on the desktop https://prnt.sc/buTF17MEOTv0 opens this page -> https://prnt.sc/XbRBLbKvoBnJ And the one on mobile https://prnt.sc/wxm7puBVEf31 opens this page -> https://prnt.sc/pzwfUspPxN5x These pages are included with the demo.
From what I see you removed both popups. Would you like to add them back perhaps? They can be added back with the composer -> https://prnt.sc/AcFekTLh2hUy and you can set those two pages for each popup, by ID -> https://prnt.sc/v7KT4tIjSqqJ
Let me know if you need help with it.
Thank you!
Hi,
Instead of using a header menu in the mobile header, you could use the intended mobile menu directly https://prnt.sc/mGVbj30dW1bE
Or, since I see you created a page to display that menu, you could use a popup and set the page in it https://prnt.sc/iyxc5FM6gfDa
For example if you check this demo on mobile, the mobile menu is a popup which opens a page https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_urban_observer_pro/
More about the popup element here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
Either of these would be a good solution for a mobile menu. Please give the a try. Let me know if you have questions.
Thank you!
Hi,
I understand your point, and I also understand that Facebook currently has crawler inconsistencies affecting many websites.
However, from a technical and operational perspective, the conclusion in my specific case remains very simple:
- At 3:00 PM the website was using Newspaper and Facebook sharing returned 403/incomplete OG scraping.
- At 3:30 PM, on the exact same server, same IP, same Apache stack, same PHP version, same firewall, same permissions and same Facebook crawler, the issue disappeared immediately after switching to a competing theme.
No other infrastructure variable changed.
This does not necessarily mean the theme is “globally broken,” but it clearly demonstrates that the theme stack is not compatible with every environment or every Facebook crawler scenario.
And honestly, identifying why a specific theme behaves unpredictably in some environments is not the responsibility of the webmaster or the client. That responsibility belongs to the software vendor and its technical architecture.
From the user perspective, the reality is straightforward:
with Theme A the feature failed, with Theme B it worked instantly in the same environment.
At that point, continuing to blame Facebook, the provider, Apache or the firewall becomes difficult to justify from an evidence-based perspective.
Thank you anyway for the discussion and for taking the time to reply.
Bye.
Hi,
That depends.
By default, if you don’t manually set specific fonts throughout the website, the theme will use Roboto and Open Sans for the majority of the elements. These default fonts can be replaced in the theme panel -> https://prnt.sc/kyLC24dDYgw5
Usually for the newer demos we used global fonts. A global font can be created in the composer -> https://prnt.sc/q2kXyypAH2gL
These global fonts have to be set where you want to use them. The benefit is that you only have to set them once everywhere. After setting them for each element, if you want to change them in the future you only have to modify the global fonts -> https://prnt.sc/GwTmQ7ezVwI4 and not to set them again for each element.
Or you could load the fonts manually with CSS or by other means, and also apply them with CSS. This could be tricky because they might not apply everywhere and you still have to target multiple specific elements directly.
Thank you!
Hi,
That’s the header template from our Amsonia demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_amsonia_pro/amsonia-header-template/?
I imported just the header https://prnt.sc/5JAf2N9YbZYa and it looks like this https://prnt.sc/2W712fCrNMx4
The header requires the opt-in plugin to be active https://prnt.sc/1AUZY0w1_E74 in order to display the login element in the menu https://prnt.sc/1agvRvzrlAjm
And it also requires setting a page for the menu popup, for example https://prnt.sc/A056qQljOam_
But other than this the header should display exactly like in the live demo. How does it look when you import it? If you can provide a link to where you are using this header and there are problems, I will check it. Or if you prefer you can send us email with the link at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!
How is it possible to make the same like design. Even importing demo is also not giving this design. Could you help me.
We use News Hub PRO without the tagDiv Mobile Theme. In the mobile view on a smartphone, there is only a black, clickable area next to the search icon. Although you can click on the menu, it is completely empty (though this is also the case in the desktop version). If you click on the black area, an unreadable black area appears, and the “Log In” and “Sign Up” buttons are missing below it.
Is using the tagDiv Mobile Theme absolutely necessary? And why is the menu to the right of the login completely empty when logged out?
We also tried working without the tagDiv Opt-In Builder. But that doesn’t work at all, because the login then opens in a popup that doesn’t match the layout, and the mobile version doesn’t work at all.
The demo page can be found at https://www.megnews.de.
Hi,
I think that’s an image box section from our Artist demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_artist_pro/
Normally an image info box doesn’t look like that, our designers used a bit of CSS to position the description more to the bottom. If you edit your homepage with the composer, there will be a Raw CSS element here below the boxes https://prnt.sc/QVTAjWZ3jcJK Since this was built a long time ago, sometimes there can be conflicts with modifications we make in the theme in updates.
No worries however, that code can be adjusted to achieve the same look. Please remove it and add the one from here -> https://pastebin.com/11MJ9dm9
The result should be like this https://prnt.sc/e6iF21snjd5s
In case there are any problems let me know.
Thank you!
Hi,
What I will recommend is to use our theme templates for the shop, which can be customized and you can also use woo shortcodes – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-shop/
Here are some demos using the theme shop templates – https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/newspaper-prebuilt-websites/?demo-type=shop
Thank you!
I have checked in another browser also but its the same and also its not showing the responsive theme. Already the mobile theme app is deactived from my end and also cleaned the cache. Could you help. Also as per your screen there is floating menu with the demo logo, how can I change it ?
Hi,
The demo you are using is the Downtown Magazine PRO and in that demo the block titles have been set using the tagDiv Composer with teh element Inline text, so you can edit it by editing the pages/templates with tagDiv Composer, selecting the elements that create the block title, for example thetxt, button and the inner row is the one that has in css tab the border https://prnt.sc/Zso5OkrfRAgc
Thank you!
Hi,
The banners on the demo Urban Observer are set using tagDiv Composer with the help of the ad box element and those can be edited/replaced/removed using the same method, edit the page/template with tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/1oFeoWq.png select the banner and in image tab and you can remove/replace the banner – https://i.imgur.com/TPO1Xrc.png
Thank you!
Hi,
The caching option is available only for Flex Blocks. For standard blocks (from the tagDiv Standard Pack), this option is not available.
From what I can see, your website is currently using an older demo (not a PRO demo). This means it relies on standard templates rather than cloud templates, which comes with both advantages and limitations.
One of the main drawbacks is that these templates offer fewer customization options. Additionally, the CSS and JavaScript files are loaded across the entire website, even if certain elements are not actively used—simply having the plugin enabled is enough for them to load.
Hi,
Before making any changes, please ensure you create a full backup of your website.
Important notice: If you choose to install a pre-built website with demo content and then edit and use it as your own, please be aware that switching or uninstalling the pre-built website will remove that content.
Therefore, if you are using pages, categories, or articles from the default demo and want to keep them, you will need to either duplicate them or update their slugs before making any changes.
Installing pre-built websites: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-installing-demos/
Thank you!
Hi,
I see that you no longer have the coming soon mode and that the prebuilt website installed is Pulses Pro (this demo), so the solutions are exactly those I mentioned above. The best solution will be using the first method:
1. To use the option for a unique article on the homepage using wordpress editor – https://prnt.sc/MWs2ytZHk8kB scroll to the bottom, there under the Page Template Settings, open the Unique articles tab and enable it https://prnt.sc/SKjrD-FGiIOQ. After that, save/update the page and the results will be different articles in each block – https://prnt.sc/nznA2bCFFH6g
Hi, I’d like to change the look of my website http://www.fotoforgo.com and was considering installing https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag_cars/
I currently have the default version installed. Can I also install “cars” or do I have to uninstall the default version? Since I have articles and pages, I assume I only need to install the design without the content.
Thanks for your time and replies.
Hi tagDiv team,
I have a Flex Block 1 (configured as “Latest news” widget in the homepage left column)
that renders empty in the frontend but displays posts correctly in the Composer editor preview.
DETAILS:
– Theme: Newspaper v12.7.5 (REGISTERED)
– Demo installed: Newsweek PRO
– Site: https://eurowaypoint.com
– WordPress: 6.9.4
– PHP: 8.2.30
THE PROBLEM:
– In Composer editor: the Flex Block 1 shows the latest 5 published posts correctly
– In frontend (incognito browser, logged out): the block container is generated
(div id=”tdi_96″ class=”td_block_inner td-mc1-wrap”) but completely empty —
no child modules are rendered inside
– 24 published posts exist in the database
– Other blocks on the same homepage (Big Grid Flex 1, other Flex Block 1 instances)
work correctly and display posts
– No JavaScript errors in browser Console
– The block has no special filters configured (Category: All, all filter fields empty)
WHAT I’VE ALREADY TRIED:
– Cleared all caches (SiteGround, WP Super Cache disabled, browser hard reload)
– Restored Homepage from a 3-day-old revision (no improvement)
– Disabled all third-party plugins one by one (Wordfence, SG Optimizer, etc.)
– Verified block configuration in Composer (Filter tab, Layout tab — all default/empty)
– Forced re-save of the block (changed limit number and saved)
– Removed custom CSS that contained :has() selectors
WHAT I NOTICED:
The block was working until I made some modifications today (changed page slug from
/plans/ to /newsletter/, edited some HTML custom blocks for Subscribe links).
The Latest block stopped rendering at some point during these changes.
Restoring an older Homepage revision did NOT fix it.
Could this be a corrupted block state in the database? Is there a way to reset
the block’s internal cache or regenerate its configuration?
Thank you for your help.
This might be a stupid question but I’m a total beginner. I installed Newsweek Pro without the example content. My first mistake. Now after customizing the site, I can´t for the life of me figure out how to configure a good-looking popup menu like on the demo site. The one in the upper left corner. Is there any simple way of getting a modal popup menu like in the demo without uninstalling the theme and reinstalling it with the example content? I could do that, but I would prefer not to lose the other work I have done.
